Courtyard by Marriott New Braunfels River Village

Upon arrival we were greeted enthusiastically on our arrival. We came here for a dual purpose trip. It was our anniversary and it was also a home finding trip that my company put us on. We loved how the hotel was right next to the river. It was serene and beautiful to see. Because it was our anniversary, the staff gave us an extraordinary experience. They upgraded us to a balcony view where we could see the pool and river. It was a simple gesture but appreciated immensely. It left a big impression on my husband and I. They also sent up some fruit and cheese, which was delicious! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend our friends/family to as well. Before we left, we went to the river again and saw some TNR cats on the property. They were adorable (I love cats), and it was just another perk and memory that we will cherish to have.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Cafe made me coffee 30 minutes before they were even open and did it with a smile. Checkin was great.

While the hotel offered a comfortable, clean environment, it seemed to have very little insulation which meant noise in the hallways and the adjoining rooms was easily heard in my room which made sleeping even with white noise difficult. The door also had an inch gap around the entire frame which meant the room had a constant stream of bright light from the hallway lighting up the room all night which also made it difficult to sleep.

Would definitely stay again and again!! A+++
