Not sure how this hotel has as many good ratings as it does. Upon checking in, I was told there was no hot water, but still charged the $100 deposit. Walking through the hotel to get to my room, it's dirty. My bed was covered in hair and I had to request new bed sheets. It was really late when I checked in unexpectedly, or else I would have went else where. When I left the next day, the elevator was broken so I had to take all of my luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Do not recommend this place at all.

Stayed on 2nd floor and elevator not working. We are seniors with bad backs so climbing stairs with luggage is very difficult. 1/2 of hotel was flooded last week so multiple fans blowing in hallway with smell of mold.

The price was ok. It looks like quite a bit worn down since our last stay a few months ago. My white socks were black after walking around the room. One ice maker is all they have in a three story hotel and it was broke! So no ice ,no alternative,and not much of an apology . I ask for a free stay or money back! Bad! Sad ! We used to brag about this place as being the best Red Roof ever! Now…..may not ever stay again in one.

Love that it is pet friendly and has a designated grass area for pets and the room was very nice and comfortable. The shower was very nice. We got the deluxe king room and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Thermostat in one of the rooms there were literally roaches all around. First it was one by the AC and also in the bathroom area And then found some around the bed as well. Then when I try to turn on the water to wash my hands the first thing that comes out is dirty muddy water. Did not enjoy my stay overall

Upon checking in the front desk receptionist was great she was very accommodating. Once we got to the room we found hairs throughout our bed linen so we had to go get a fresh change of linen. On our final day we found a roach running around on the desk. I pray we don’t take any home. We definitely wouldn’t return but I really appreciate the front desk reception on check in.

Checking in was horrible. Our room was very small. In the pictures it showed a big room with a couch. There was no couch!! The hotel had a funny smell in the hallway. No breakfast at all. I will not be staying at Red Roof inn ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone. The rating was a 8.8. I give them a 4.8. Don’t waste your time or money!!

I would never stay at this location again .the noise from above us at 1.30 AM was unbelievable ,kids running around and adults stomping their feet for about an hour .sounded like they were almost in our room and next door dogs barking ,no way could we sleep and we had been driving from Detroit that day .called front desk and he went and told them but didn't help. I requested a partial refund but he said sorry.We would have left at 3.30 AM but don't like driving that early in the morning.I misread that they were only double beds not Queens.VERY DISAPPOINTED>

They checked someone in at 1:30a.m above us who stomped all night. Morning we woke to strong smell of marijuana. Only spent 1 night, left next morning. TV wasn’t hooked up when we arrived and maintenance had to come repair it. Desk chair had holes in it. Will not stay here again.

This is a relatively new property and the rooms are up to date and clean. However, the rooms are small and somewhat noisy. The upper body silhouette of a person using the shower is visible to the rest of the room space. This is ok for couples but could be a problem with children staying with adults.

Nice hotel and rooms but walls are paper thin. We came in at midnight and watched a little tv that wasn’t loud what so ever and people next to us complained which isn’t their fault but the tv really wasn’t loud. Then was woken at 6 am to a dog barking and lots of foot steps. As I stated it wasn’t a bad hotel just walls are very thin.

Desk associate was horrible. Cocky, condescending and failed to apply common sense to meet the needs of the guest. He made numerous disparaging remarks about how we used “a third party” (Expedia) to book the room. Wouldn’t allow my wife to check-in because her name wasn’t listed as the reserving party (52-year-old-woman with same last name, valid ID, the reservation number, traveling with a child at 1:30 AM. Made us call Expedia and amend the reservation at almost 2:00 AM, all the while watching South Park with foul language in front of our daughter. Unbelievable. We will NEVER stay here again.

Since I was arriving from out of town, I actually arrived earlier than expected. I called and was able to check in early. Johnny was super nice and helpful. The evening clerk she was very helpful since my room key kept deactivating. Tanger Outlet was a few minutes away. Lots of eating options near by and of course Super Walmart, Dollar Tree and Ingles grocery store. The Red Roof Inn is right next to the highway which was great because I was able to go in either direction for shopping too! I would recommend staying at this location.

This was a one night stop for us. Staff was very nice. There is $100 deposit you have to pay that’s supposed to be refunded in 3-5 days. It’s a little annoying but I guess there are people who deserve it.

Everything was fine until a man was banging on our door in the middle of the night for about 10 minutes. The front desk person said "Oh I saw him," but did not make contact about disturbing anyone in the middle of the night. We ignored it until he finally went away, but when I asked the front desk person the next morning they said a note had been left and he was probably drunk and confused. They assured me a manager would call, but I never heard from anyone.

Horrible customer service prepaid for a family member to stay and wanted $100 deposit upon arrival of check in and would not allow to check in even though called family member who paid with credit card in ful.Desk clerk refused to accept credit card for the deposit and did not allow to check in or refused a refund complained this room was paid for through Expedia so could not confirm it but then confirmed it was paid in full .Asked for manager not available until next day called Expedia and they refunded the money paid for a room not used and inconvenienced person who could not stay there had to find an alternative place to stay.This was a horrible experience I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The only problem I had was that I was coming in from out of state at night and the hotel is set back from the road behind a gas station making it harder to find. I small lighted sign off the road would help greatly.

Since I was arriving from out of town, I actually arrived earlier than expected. I called and was able to check in early. Johnny was super nice and helpful. The evening clerk she was very helpful since my room key kept deactivating. Tanger Outlet was a few minutes away. Lots of eating options near by and of course Super Walmart, Dollar Tree and Ingles grocery store. The Red Roof Inn is right next to the highway which was great because I was able to go in either direction for shopping too! I would recommend staying at this location.

Checking in was horrible. Our room was very small. In the pictures it showed a big room with a couch. There was no couch!! The hotel had a funny smell in the hallway. No breakfast at all. I will not be staying at Red Roof inn ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone. The rating was a 8.8. I give them a 4.8. Don’t waste your time or money!!

RED ROOF INN WAS SUPER CLEAN AND COZY…. THE STAFF WAS GREAT! NO COMPLAINTS…. THE ONLY THING THAT THEY WERE MISSING WAS A POOL AND FREE BREAKFAST LOL… 10/10 recommend!!! The shower was amazing!!!! For 98.00 a night I would stay here anytime!!

They charge $100 deposit if you book thru a third party. And you will get it back when they are ready to give it back. Room is half that price. A bit absurd. Carpets in the hallways are nasty. No soap or nothing in the room. TV not working. No breakfast of any sort. No lobby. If you come from the other direction, you have to go a mile before you can legally do a u-turn. Nothing but just a shelter. Not worth it. Pay a bit more and stay at a better place.
