The swimming pool is dirty.

This was me and family 3rd stay, it was good. We love the hotel, the breakfast, kids love the pool. The only issue is the elevator wasn't working we had to walk up the stairs to the second floor. also the bathroom wasn't to clean. We like the hotel but they really need an upgrade in there elevator system, carpet, bathroom. But overall we do like the hotel.

Elevator was not working all weekend, and pool water resembled swamp water- not sure the pumps are regularly maintaining it.

Let's start with check-in, surprise parking fee of $10 per day. It was open parking and not near the city. There was no reason to charge for parking. Next the room, must have been the worse one on the floor. Every piece of trim, tile, and doors damaged or loose. Beds stained on the mattress. Curtains falling down. The best part was the AC, gotta say it was ice cold. Breakfast and service did not even try. Breakfast juice machine broken the 4 days. Waffle batter came out tan and then grey. Bag of premade Eggs were left out in the prep room for at least an hour. Ice machine down. The last night of the stay we were greeted to a nice salute of gun shots at 10:30. While the employees did help when asked, they were just there for a paycheck. Glad this stay there is over and sadly we will not be back.

Usually stay here when visiting AC, however this new parking fee is ridiculous. The guest is already staying at the property, if anything limit to 1 vehicle per room. Also why does the pool open @ 10am when checkout is @ 11am ??

Elevator was broke for two nights Saturday and Sunday all day. My oldest sister had to crawl up three flights of stairs bothdays .

Fire alarm went off because of a hot shower. Don’t book if you’re looking for a nice family pool. Cloudy water .

It does look very good online but I don’t think it is clean enough and a lot of broken things gymnastics room dirty and broken machines ( equipments) with cables all over the room! Tub or shower valve coming loose it is not good! I deserved something better for the price tag we paid for! Overall poor graded. Thx

The Juice machine was broke no problem but there was only orange juice available no water was available. No tissues in the room. The Gym didn't have any water available and there was no disinfect to clean the equipment before or after use.

This hotel uses price gouging practices on their guests. They charged a $10 a night parking fee, even though there was no parking garage, it was in a small town, and they had plenty of empty parking spaces in their parking lot. The fee was totally unnecessary and just a way to charge more money to their guests. Also, we asked for a later check out and they denied us an hour later check out, unless we paid a $40 fee. We did not pay the fee. It was clear that this hotel wanted to nickel and dime their guests to make more money in fees. We will never stay here again.

BEDBUGS

There were ants in our hotel room. The bathtub was a graveyard for ants. I stayed there for 3 days and not once was there house keeping. They also changed $10 a day for parking.

Sheets were disgusting. There were blood stains and other stains on every layer of bedding. While the Assistant Manager tried to assist me, I was unable to get them to give me my money back so I could stay elsewhere. Expedia was of no help either and could only provide me with a $50 credit towards another stay. While I understand certain hotel policies, I think there should be exceptions, and this would have been one.

The room was in some serious renovation, the carpet was dirty with stains. The tables were not cleaned and the bathroom floor and tub had hair. I had to clean all this before even settling in. The shower rod had a leak and it was shooting water onto the ceiling making the ceiling bubble with water. For two days I had to ask the young man to replace the breakfast items. He was just chilling on his phone all the time. When asked if he could replace the breakfast items he seemed annoyed that I disturbed him. Even to fill the hot water container was a bother to him. I have stayed in several comfort suite and it has NEVER been this so out of place. The only reason I picked this hotel location was because it was close to my the distance where I was going too. I would never recommend this location to my friend and family even though the rates were reasonable.

Staying here was totally disgusting. Bottom of the barrel. Walking in you could smell mold right away with lazy, failed attempts to overwhelm and disguise the area with pine sol. The front desk clerk was SLEEPING off to the side. Literal feet up on a chair, head back mouth wide open deep sleep. Had to look for him then acted as if we were bothering him! The carpets were filthy with visible stains and dirt on every square inch. The room was disgusting . The bathroom sink hadn’t been wiped down in ages. Had spit from toothpaste from the last guests. Shower floor was brown with the tub having areas where it was chipped off. Blow dryer loaded with layers of thick dust even on the wire! The carpet, unspeakable. The room smelled heavily of mold. Luckily I had a bottle of bleach wipes that we wiped the entire place down with. The pillows were made for toddlers. Tiny and flat. The AC was LOUD and rickety, so if you can’t sleep with any sort of noise, forget this place. We had to program the TV so it would have channels on it, took forever. And then the words and the mouths didn’t line up, there was a very noticeable, distracting lag. Ice machine was full of mold on the bottom, I didn’t bother getting ice. Got it from a store down the street instead. Elevator wasn’t working, stairwell smell is indescribable! Fire alarm went off at 4am for no reason for about 20 mins! Dumpster area looked like a landfill! DO NOT STAY HERE! Should have been no more than $25 a night. Gross.

The "non-smoking" room reeked of cigarettes. There was black mold very obviously visible around the bathroom ceiling and a 12" diameter mold stain on the pull out bed my children were supposed to sleep on. The pull out bedding had to have hair shaken off of it. There was some unknown yellow splatter on the wall right as you enter at eye level.

The room was absolutely filthy! I have several pictures. There was mold on the floor tiles an old bandaid beside the bed a yellow ring in the toilet the tub was disgusting also. The curtains were also old and smelled of mildrew

Checked in and went to the store to get a few things for our stay. My wife and I returned and find a roach crawling around with the lights all on. Disgusting. Steer clear. If they have one roach they have many more. Ewwww

checked in for one night, rushed to put stuff in room because my son had a basketball game at the convention center....upon returning at 1130 to shower and go to sleep...discovered there were specs of feces on the bathroom floor and door....told they were sold out and no rooms to move us into...nighttime front desk person, came up and mopped the floor but said, he couldn't refund the room....DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!!!

The rooms had a very bad smell tubs were very dirty carpets were dirty there was a unknown stain on the couch when I walked in my room the light cover was broken on the floor very bad experience they did nothing to accommodate me on the room conditions will not be ever coming back to this hotel very disappointed with my experience 😔

The front desk rep (Taejay) was rude with no customer service skills. He did not address me as a paying customer. Did not offer any info of amenities you get with your stay. Did not tell me about breakfast or WIFI access or times. He went right back to talking on the phone. The room at first glance was clean. But the fixtures in my room were broken and the bathroom needed simple upgrades. The ceiling had brown spots on it over the shower indicating maybe some water damage. The hook to hang your towel on in back of the bathroom door was falling off so I couldn’t use it. I tried to adjust the shower head and found out it was loose and someone used scotch tape to secure it to the wall. The lights in the bathroom were dim and falling apart. Out of all the multiple outlets in the room, only two worked. Being on the 2nd floor facing the front was loud when cars drove by on the road. For the money it wasn’t worth it! Comfort Suites needs to do better!! Please get a front desk agent that is knowledgeable and pleasant.

Leather chair ripped down the middle taped up not very nice to look at / shower head had poor pressure / hot tub in room did not work / bathroom needed up grade/ ok if staying the night for AC

Check in was easy. Hotel is very outdated could be cleaned better.

The bathroom door and the bedroom door it was difficult to open

People upstairs were making noise all the time. I did let the staff agent know. This has stopped for a while, but today they started back to step up on the floor upstairs. Crazily!

The staff was good. But updates are needed. The carpets are worn & hot tub needs to be replaced. Paid extra for the room for my birthday to have a hot tub. Old furniture, caulk, mirror, gaps in the door. Only plus were hot water, great location.

Window wouldn't open, screw was drilled in to prevent from opening, shower rod was broken which prevents shower curtain from staying closed and hot water was not working well. The best part about this hotel was the bed, super comfy.

The WiFi connection wasn’t working on laptop. When we informed the front desk, we were were told to call their help desk.

We stayed for one night in the room with three queen beds. Check-in was quick and easy. From check-in to check out, all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our kids thought it was the coolest thing ever getting their own queen beds/tv space, and we loved having our own bedroom. A unique and great room option that we never see. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Our room was fully stocked with towels, toiletries, and coffee supplies. Pool was great, and heated with plenty of pool towels available. We slept through breakfast, so we can’t speak to that amenity. It was quiet in the hotel itself, but like any hotel next to a busy road there was some traffic noise when sleeping, due to being the room closest to the entrance. We still slept well, and enjoyed our stay. Overall, very comfortable accommodations. We would return (kids are already asking to go back). Thank you!

Property is very dated and not very well maintained. Front desk staff needs better training. Booked a room with two beds and they give us a single king. After coming back down and telling him, he tried to charge us extra to switch to the room we had already booked online with Expedia. He continued to blame hotel management and Experdias prices for being wrong and wanted us to call Expedia to confirm the booking that he already had in front of him. He had us waiting in the lobby which seemed like forever, until he finally listened to me to call a manager, who told him the price was correct. Please train your staff and dont have them working alone if they dont know what they are doing.

We had an initial problem when we checked in. Our family suite only had one bathroom for four 75+ year olds. We consulted with Steve, the assistant manager and he rectified the situation quickly and efficiently, and at NO additional cost! VERY friendly and efficient! We were greatly impressed!

Upon check in the front desk person was sleeping. Took me a few times to ring the bell to get his attention to check-in. Then had a whole attitude checking me in. My room had a few files and the vent had a funny smell. The door did not close to the bathroom. They only offer coffee and not breakfast as they advertise.

I have never in my life experienced such bad customer service. 1st we try to check in, the lady is yelling and arguing with my husband saying our card was declined and we showed her there was way more money in the account than what was being charged. She kept telling us she had already checked in 16 people so there was nothing wrong with her system that it was something wrong with our account. Come to find out, when I open my account all the way, she charged our card SIX times so Wells Fargo flagged it for fraud. I asked her how many times did she charge our card, she said once. I showed her my account with the six attempted charges and she says to me, do you want to put it on another card. Like excuse me. My fraud detection text came through and I had to say it was me trying to charge the money and it allowed me to try again and it went through. We received no apologies or anything. We get to our room and then got something to eat. After eating, my husband went to the bathroom to shower. He gets ready to get in and realize that there’s hair all in the shower so I walk to the desk to let them know. The same lady comes to me. She tells me housekeeping won’t be in until 9 in the morning. So I’m like, you’re telling me we can’t shower until 9am? She gets an attitude and asks me what’s wrong with the shower. So I tell her again about the hair. She tells me she’ll get it with a glove. She comes to the room and, still with an attitude, asks me where is it. The worst stay ever!

Conveniently located. Great staff. Jay deserves a 200% raise - we didn't try breakfast.

The staff was beyond nice and the hotel was super clean and very spacious.. Steve was beyond friendly looking forward to it again...

The wife and I stayed two days for the Ski Beach event in Ventor City.The staff was polite, check-in was fast and smooth. The surrounding area has a little to offer; a local Wawa, diners, restaurants, and plenty of gas stations. It's very close to the beach, as we were able to get there in less than 20 minutes. We stayed on the first floor in room 112, my only negative statement is in regards to the jetted tub. The pressure of the jets need to inspected. The stay overall was great, I'd rate it 4.5 of 5 stars.

Amazing Hotel Staff, Great Location Near Atlantic City Boardwalk. Breakfast was great. We will be back for sure next year!!

The rooms were adequate in size. The location was good . The added fee for parking was a surprise. The staff was professional. The cleaning staff was pleasant. The cleaning could have been a little better. There was dust in the lamps. Overall a decent place to stay if you just need a decent , safe place to stay .

Absolutely Terrible Experience, would Not Recommend. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my family’s stay at this hotel was beyond disappointing. For $215 a night, I expected at least basic cleanliness and functionality, but this was far from the case. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pull-out bed’s sheets had moderate-sized blood smears. When we called reception, instead of offering us a new room or sending someone to fix the problem, they told us to come down ourselves to get clean sheets. That set the tone for the stay. When we tried to take a shower, the handle literally came off as we rotated it to start the water. None of the electrical outlets in the room worked, leaving us unable to charge our devices despite trying multiple outlets. The hallways had a very odd, unpleasant smell. Breakfast was equally disappointing, I’ve had the same basic choices at other hotels, but here, the quality was terrible. The waffle batter was watered down, and when I questioned it, I was told “it’s normal.” Shortly after eating the waffles, my entire family experienced stomach problems. I understand this is not a luxury hotel, but the least they can do is provide basic cleanliness, working amenities, and safe, decent-quality food. For the price we paid, we should have had a working shower, clean sheets provided to us (not the other way around), functioning outlets, and breakfast that wouldn’t make us sick. I will not be staying here again and strongly suggest others look elsewher

Poorly presented breakfast

There was an additional $10 for overnight parking. I was surprised. Food was stale for breakfast. Took one bite of a bagel and threw it out. Staff not really too friendly this time.

Everything was great except the walls are thin and I heard my drunk neighbor talking loud all night.besides that it was all good and breakfast was a plus but average

Property was ok, $10 parking is ridiculous for an off strip hotel, breakfast hours is also an issue 6-9am and it seems like a first come first serve as they never refill the eggs or sausage.

Nice stay, good breakfast and staff was very nice.

It’s an average hotel. We used to stay at comfort suites elsewhere and were much better, this location disappointed us somehow. First, it should be cleaner. An unbearable odor in the hallways and especially in the room. We think it comes from dirty carpet. Second, breakfast disappeared us, they didn’t have food for all customers, whoever got there early could eat good, those coming later nothing to something left. I guess they didn’t fill up again for customers coming in the next hours. Also not many options like we had in other hotels. Staff was nice and polite, nothing wrong with staff, but these issues are not staff problems but administration problems.
