We stayed here for about 4 nights and everything went well. There are two sections of the palace...one where the hotel reception is connected to and the other is a stand along building across the street. We've read online that one of the sections was the "newer" renovated one and I think that was the section with the hotel reception. We stayed in other section across the street and it was fine. It doesn't look so outdated that you can tell/feel it's vastly different. Every night, there is some type of special music or performance by the pool. That was a nice touch and appreciated. Everyone is very friendly as well. We opted for the daily parking of 8 euros and that came in pretty handy. There can be street parking but it is limited and you will have to drive around the side streets for one.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Booked the maisonette for a family of 4 which was perfect. Rooms were good size, breakfast buffet had a great selection, pools were nice. Gym could be improved as well as an omelet station at breakfast! Overall great value and convenient location-10-15 min walk to Old Town. Beach just down the street on from of he property. Would recommend!

Beautiful high rise hotel with a pool and option for all inclusive package. Poolside drinks and snacks are offered as well as a live duet in the evening poolside. Buffet dinner at a reasonable price in the evening is offered if you don’t choose the all inclusive option. Parking is a challenge but you can pay extra to park your car in their lot.

Wonderful location an facilities. Staff was awesome! Only downside is the let locals access the pools and take up a lt of chairs at both pools limiting access for guests that stay there.

The hotel is great 👍! The food (breakfast and dinner) was rich and tasty. The location is wonderful, pool are very nice but there no enough seats there. The towels are located in strange place that take few minutes to walk.

Wonderful, modern hotel. Friendly staff, got a room upgrade which was greatly appreciated. The buffet was also great with loads of choices and couldn't fault. Facilities were everything I needed. Pool (which looks beautiful at night like a star lit sky), gym, spa, comfortable seating throughout the hotel, great balcony overlooking the pool, close to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to the old town

Lovely spacious hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in the building across the road from the main hotel. Rooms were big with a balcony and the shower was very good. The air con was good. There was no corridor noise or from the road. Staff were super friendly at all times. The hotel had a gym which I wanted to use but found some of the equipment not usable posing some safety issues-.the rower foot straps are broken and the treadmill foot covering is warped. Also it is not supervised so children were in there messing around on the equipment lots of days. We had a lovely stay, breakfast was good- lots of choice. It was about a 20 minute walk into the old town along the beach road. The beach is only 5 mins away and is lovely. Plenty of good restaurants a few mins walk away

Sehr sauberes Hotel mit Top-freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personal. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Gute Struktur und Ablauf im Restaurant. Das Essen war von der Menge an Auswahl überschaubar aber dafür hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Wer etwas Ruhe haben will, der nutzt den Außen- oder Innenpool im Nebengebäude. Der Stand ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar ebenso wie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Old Town Rethymno in ca 20 - 25 Minuten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Lage, nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand, viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, hat drei tolle Pools, das Buffet am Morgen und Abend war sehr groß, vielfältig und lecker, das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympathisch, Zimmer waren sauber und Bad war renoviert, wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht, hier werden die Zimmer nach und nach renoviert, unser Zimmer war bis auf das Bad noch älter aber dafür sehr groß, Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten: im Bad neben der Dusche ist am Boden ein Abfluss, solange der Mistkübel darauf steht passt alles, wird er nachdem die Reinigungskraft im Zimmer war verschoben und steht nicht mehr direkt darauf, dann hat es im ganzen Zimmer nach Kanal gerochen

Superbe hôtel avec un personnel adorable. Très bien situé car à 2 minutes de la plage et 10 min de la vielle ville de Rethymno le tout à pied. Très propre, Seul bémol si vous avez une chambre qui donne sur le boulevard, c’est bruyant.

Très bon séjour d’une semaine en demi pension. Chambre confortable avec balcon vue piscine. Bon Insonorisation. Hôtel très propre et récent. Agréable piscine. Personnel de restauration très professionnel, accueillant et très sympathique ! Un vrai plaisir ! L’hôtel est bien situé et à 20 minutes de marche du centre ville de rethymnon.

I stayed at Theartemis Palace for two nights during a longer trip to Crete and found it to be an excellent base for exploring Rethymno. The hotel is well-located, just a short walk from the charming old town, making it easy to enjoy the area's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. The property itself is stylish, well-maintained, and offered a high standard of comfort throughout my stay. Overall, a pleasant and convenient choice for anyone visiting this part of Crete.

Nice place but old furniture in rooms. Giving me soviet area vibes. Staff was friendly, nice and accommodating. The area around is not the nicest but the old city is not that far away.

We've read online that one of the sections was the "newer" renovated one and I think that was the section with the hotel reception. We stayed in other section across the street and it was fine. It doesn't look so outdated that you can tell/feel it's vastly different. Every night, there is some type of special music or performance by the pool. That was a nice touch and appreciated. Everyone is very friendly as well. We opted for the daily parking of 8 euros and that came in pretty handy. There can be street parking but it is limited and you will have to drive around the side streets for one.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Lage, nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand, viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, hat drei tolle Pools, das Buffet am Morgen und Abend war sehr groß, vielfältig und lecker, das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympathisch, Zimmer waren sauber und Bad war renoviert, wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht, hier werden die Zimmer nach und nach renoviert, unser Zimmer war bis auf das Bad noch älter aber dafür sehr groß, Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten: im Bad neben der Dusche ist am Boden ein Abfluss, solange der Mistkübel darauf steht passt alles, wird er nachdem die Reinigungskraft im Zimmer war verschoben und steht nicht mehr direkt darauf, dann hat es im ganzen Zimmer nach Kanal gerochen

Wir waren im Trakt gegenüber. Die Zimmer waren schon abgewohnt und die Tür zum Gang sehr hellhörig. Am morgen begannen schon auf der Stasse die Müllabfuhr was auch nicht zu einem guten schlaf beitrug. Die betten waren schon sehr durchgelegen.

We had a lovely stay here! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating! I’m vegan and the staff gave me a selection of vegan meat, almond milk and cheeses for breakfast in addition to the buffet which was very kind! The room had a few flaws such as a broken lamp that had the cord taped back together, when we mentioned it wasn’t working they fixed the plug instead of swapping the lamp which was a bit of a safety concern for us. The room we stayed in was a bit loud at times but still a lovely room! I’d recommend paying more for the pool view as we had partial sea view but was a little loud sometimes from the street. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again!

Très bon séjour d’une semaine en demi pension. Chambre confortable avec balcon vue piscine. Bon Insonorisation. Hôtel très propre et récent. Agréable piscine. Personnel de restauration très professionnel, accueillant et très sympathique ! Un vrai plaisir ! L’hôtel est bien situé et à 20 minutes de marche du centre ville de rethymnon.

Lovely spacious hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in the building across the road from the main hotel. Rooms were big with a balcony and the shower was very good. The air con was good. There was no corridor noise or from the road. Staff were super friendly at all times. The hotel had a gym which I wanted to use but found some of the equipment not usable posing some safety issues-.the rower foot straps are broken and the treadmill foot covering is warped. Also it is not supervised so children were in there messing around on the equipment lots of days. We had a lovely stay, breakfast was good- lots of choice. It was about a 20 minute walk into the old town along the beach road. The beach is only 5 mins away and is lovely. Plenty of good restaurants a few mins walk away

The room and the hotel are excellent. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The proposed activities are various. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen,with so many different options. The pool area is huge and no problem finding an available sunbed. Sometimes the wait to get your drink order by the pool is a bit long, but all in all a great experience.

Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Visited to celebrate a birthday and Theartemis went above and beyond for us from being greeted with champagne and refreshments to a decorated room filled with balloons and a personalised big birthday cake! The food was lovely and had a good variety for our buffet breakfast and dinner which i was very pleased with. The service was spectacular, really was the best part of the 3 places we stayed in Crete Theartemis was definitely the best! Special thanks to the manager Eleni i believe her name was who also greeted us on arrival and checked with us throughout our stay. This was an amazing memorable stay and hope to come baxk soon! :) thank you Theartemis!

Il THEARTEMIS è una struttura meravigliosa. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno splendido con il nostro bambino di 12 anni. Il personale dell'hotel gentilissimo e cordiale in tutte le richieste. La nostra camera tripla aveva il terzo letto/divano troppo duro per dormire ed immediatamente a seguito della mia richiesta hanno provveduto a fornire un topper che ha migliorato efficientemente la situazione. La posizione dell'hotel è a 150m dal mare che però purtroppo è spesso mosso e non sempre agibile. In compenso l'hotel ha una piscina stupenda con lettini e bar adiacente. Inoltre nell'area SPA ci sono altre 2 piscine più piccole e meno affollate dove potersi godere la vacanza. Il servizio di teli mare per la spiaggia/piscina fornisce asciugamani grandi e morbidi. Il ristorante dell'hotel consente di cenare/pranzare sia all'interno che all'esterno dove l'atmosfera è molto piacevole.

The members of staff were amazing, some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Great people, great food and the room was perfect. I’d definitely give more stars if possible and will of course be back when I’m next in Crete. They looked after us well, more than expected. 11/10

Sehr sauberes Hotel mit Top-freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personal. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Gute Struktur und Ablauf im Restaurant. Das Essen war von der Menge an Auswahl überschaubar aber dafür hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Wer etwas Ruhe haben will, der nutzt den Außen- oder Innenpool im Nebengebäude. Der Stand ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar ebenso wie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Old Town Rethymno in ca 20 - 25 Minuten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.

I stayed at Theartemis Palace for two nights during a longer trip to Crete and found it to be an excellent base for exploring Rethymno. The hotel is well-located, just a short walk from the charming old town, making it easy to enjoy the area's rich history and vibrant atmosphere. The property itself is stylish, well-maintained, and offered a high standard of comfort throughout my stay. Overall, a pleasant and convenient choice for anyone visiting this part of Crete.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Lage, nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand, viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, hat drei tolle Pools, das Buffet am Morgen und Abend war sehr groß, vielfältig und lecker, das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympathisch, Zimmer waren sauber und Bad war renoviert, wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht, hier werden die Zimmer nach und nach renoviert, unser Zimmer war bis auf das Bad noch älter aber dafür sehr groß, Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten: im Bad neben der Dusche ist am Boden ein Abfluss, solange der Mistkübel darauf steht passt alles, wird er nachdem die Reinigungskraft im Zimmer war verschoben und steht nicht mehr direkt darauf, dann hat es im ganzen Zimmer nach Kanal gerochen

We had a lovely stay here! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating! I’m vegan and the staff gave me a selection of vegan meat, almond milk and cheeses for breakfast in addition to the buffet which was very kind! The room had a few flaws such as a broken lamp that had the cord taped back together, when we mentioned it wasn’t working they fixed the plug instead of swapping the lamp which was a bit of a safety concern for us. The room we stayed in was a bit loud at times but still a lovely room! I’d recommend paying more for the pool view as we had partial sea view but was a little loud sometimes from the street. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again!

Very comfortable room. Half board food hit or miss but usually enough decent options. Alcoholic drinks a little pricey. Most of the staff very friendly and professional. Walk to Rethymno town center 15 to 20 minutes.

Wonderful, modern hotel. Friendly staff, got a room upgrade which was greatly appreciated. The buffet was also great with loads of choices and couldn't fault. Facilities were everything I needed. Pool (which looks beautiful at night like a star lit sky), gym, spa, comfortable seating throughout the hotel, great balcony overlooking the pool, close to the beach and about a 20 minute walk to the old town

The hotel’s main building, reception, terraces etc were very nice however we were stuck in the annex across the road so never used or passed through any of these spaces in the 7 days we were there. Unfortunately, the reason I would not recommend or return to this hotel is that the pool and pool area is far too small for the property. I would say that it was far too small for the hotel even before they added the whole new annex building that must increase capacity by at least 40-50 family rooms (potentially another 120/150 persons requiring pool access?). Unless you get to the pool by 9am there is no chance of getting a sunbed or anywhere to sit. The rows of sunbeds are so tightly packed that you are on top of each other. We like to head out in the car in the mornings but always returned to find the beds reserved all day. Numerous days we returned after lunch to try and have a few hours by the pool and there is just nowhere to sit. FYI, on the two days we decided to get up early to get beds and have a pool day, we found half the beds are in shade by 3pm and the whole pool shuts at 6pm. We weren’t on a city break where a pool hotel isnt a priority, we went to Crete on a family summer holiday so it’s to be expected that the hotel has adequate facilities to cater for the number of guests in the hotel. If you don’t want to use the pool then this hotel would be fine.

Veldig fint og rent hotell som ligger bare ett stenkast fra stranden. Resturantene er i all nærhet og gammle byen ca 5-10 min gange. Meget god frokost buffé, når man får tildelt bord så får man spørsmål om hvilken kaffe man ønsker. Hotellet består av 2 bygninger som har hver sitt basseng, ett stort og ett mindre mere privat basseng. Det er også inndelt barne område i bassenget. Mat og drikken var veldig god. Rommene var romslige, badet var meget stilfult. Veldig dårlig lydisolering gjennom døren på rommet og ut i gangen. Dette gjelder da i hotell avdelingen over veien. Ellers meget fint opphold her på Kreta!

Ett utmärkt hotell som är ren och har fina rum, frukosten var varierad, fina möbler överallt. Personalen är supertrevliga. Det enda minuset var poolen som är bara 1,6 m djupt och mycket folk i poolen

Jag och min familj stannade en vecka på hotellet och vi har bara positiva minnen därifrån. Personalen var så underbara, vi kände oss så välkomna och omhändertagna. Maten var fantastisk god och musiken och underhållningen som spelades var helt perfekt. Vi har ingenting att klaga på utan kommer besöka Theartemispalace fler gånger. // Familjen Eriksson från Sverige
