I feel like the staff at this property are some of the very best I have encountered. Linda who prepares the breakfast actually prepares it to perfection and adds spices and flavors to stock food service items. I could not ask for a better breakfast, especially if I am traveling for a sporting event. The amenities at this hotel such as stove top, microwave, and fridge can also make a stay of several days a lot more economical because the hotel's near a Wal Mart so you can buy groceries and cook for yourself. In fact the rooms even have a few pots and pans as well as a dishwasher and coffee machine. However, some of the items in some of the rooms are showing some signs of age, for instance in one room I had, the drain fixture wasn't attached to the bathtub. Which brings me to my next point. The first room I had had a bit of a musty smell and it turns out that was because the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. The staff tried to clear the clog in the AC unit and wet vac the carpet, but there was so much water in the carpet that they moved me to a different room, which had no problems. Clearly, it's not ideal that initially I had a musty-smelling room with an AC leak. I appreciate however how the staff took reasonable steps to resolve the issue. I feel like in summary the staff at this hotel are excellent, the amenities are excellent, and the only potential problem is some of the appliances in some of the rooms having problems. Also the courtyard jacuzzi is out.

Everything was amazing as far as the property, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. My issue is with the general manager who still hasn’t returned my phone call regarding wanting a refund after a maid stole from me. I was actually taken by ambulance to the hospital due to illness and that morning while my room was cleaned a few items disappeared. I can’t imagine this is the first time and really hope this person is terminated. It ruined the rest of my stay, at another property, because I felt so violated. I did file a police report but feel the GM should be in touch. Nobody was available to help me over the entire weekend and was told Tom, the GM, would call me back today. If I was the GM I would definitely want to resolve this as soon as possible but apparently isn’t an issue for him. Better luck to future guests and make sure you take anything you don’t want stolen including clothing items which is insane to me.

We had a great overnight experience. There are some things that could be improved upon that would make it excellent, for instance: general maintenance issues (scuffed walls in the hallway, broken hot tub) no bedding for the pullout bed, even upon asking for it, but overall, the grandkids loved the pool, the rooms were spacious and provided plenty of space for all of us and it was close to Royals Stadium.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was convenient for our purposes. Free laundry facilities was nice, even though only two washers worked out of eight machines and two dryers functional out of six.
