It was good, but I had selected 2 queens and was given a king suite. Which is something that hotels.com is responsible for, but the hotel was very apologetic. However, they were booked and could not help me with a double queen., but understand that’s on hotels.com. The reduced 4 stars is because the sofa sleeper was awful, the couch mattress was very thin all I could feel was a bar in my back the whole night. The couch cushions were also very worn and one was ripped. Usually this hotel is awesome, this sofa sleeper was very disappointing to me.

The staff was incredible! I arrived later at night, and they were so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated how welcoming and helpful they were, especially since I arrived around 11 PM. The only difficulty was finding the entrance to the building. Since it was dark and I wasn’t familiar with the area, it was a little challenging to figure out where to go, and parking was interesting. Better signage for the entrance would definitely be helpful. Overall, though, the staff made the experience wonderful!

We’ve stayed here before, and unfortunately this place has seriously gone downhill. The bed was so worn out you could feel the support board through the mattress, the carpet had holes in it, and the shower sprayer was broken and shot water straight into the bathroom. The shower also made such a horrible squealing noise that my daughter thought there was a monster in the bathroom. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and there were visible mold spots on the ceiling. At that point, it felt like the room needed maintenance far more than it needed another guest. I used to think Holiday Inn Express was a nicer, reliable hotel, but this stay definitely changed my mind. For what hotels cost now, a decent bed, intact carpet, a working shower, and a bathroom without mold seem like pretty reasonable expectations. Very disappointing, especially because we’ve stayed here before and know it used to be much better.
