Great location, very convenient for public transit. Facility is clean. Continental breakfast was ok, with shorter hours. We travelled during a heat wave, having AC or additional fans would have been great.

Angenehmes Hotel mit guter Bedienung. Längerer Aufenthalt würde ich wegen des Strassenlärms ausschliessen. Lage direkt an Schiffstation und Rothirnbahn.

We are from Australia and treat everyone with courtesy and respect. The waiter in the morning Breakfast Room was very rude. Can't remember his name. Starte with Y. Tall guy, with a beard, white shirt and black trousers. The coffee machine was not working and the coffee was not hot. So I requested him to make it hot. He said he will do it only for one day but never again. The next day I had the same problem. When I requested him he rudely said NO. It did not take him more than 2 minutes to warm the coffee. But very rude and unhelpful.

Location posted on Expedia was Interlaken where we wanted to stay but the hotel is located in Brienz which is 20 minutes by train from Interlaken. Hotel is located right in front of Lake Brienz and train/boat station which is great but its old 2 story building with small rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was good, however no toaster or microwave in breakfast area. SHort staffed, owner was on the counter plus doing everything.
