Whimsical Mermaid - 4 min. to Cruise Port and half mile from beach

I really liked this house. Although a few people have mentioned the location is a bit shady…well, maybe. We had no issues! Only complaint was the other tenants at the adjacent houses too up all the parking in front of the house. We had to park across the street where it was poorly lit. Made us a little uneasy. Check in was easy! The door was sticking when we arrived and when I reached out to the hosts they responded IMMEDIATELY via text and phone. I just needed to push a little harder. But after that we had no issues. The rooms have window unit AC which was not a concern at all. They did a fantastic job of keeping the place comfortable. And we could personalize on bedrooms at night. The bathroom is pretty small but well organized. We only stayed one night while attending events so it was perfect.

Nice little place with just a 3 minute drive (or 10-15 min walk) to the Boardwalk (Pleasure Pier). The place was clean and provided all the amenities needed. Each room has their own AC which is convenient because my son likes him room warmer while I prefer cooler. Host was super responsive to any questions we had. Would book again!

We stayed at this cute little house for one night before our cruise. Everything was as advertised. Clean. Well stocked. Comfy beds. The water pressure in the bathroom was alittle low but overall a great experience.

The home was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Everything about this cottage was enjoyable from the theme to the convenience of being located right in the center of Galveston. Our host was easy to contact and it was easy to access the property. We would definitely stay there again.
