Dancing and entertainment on ground floor seemed that you were trying to sleep in a dancing club and not in a hotel. The television had no signal. The breakfast was so terrible and smelled badly . I wonder if these people have any idea of what a hotel seemed to be.

Quite large hotel, rooms big enough clean and quiet, apart from seagulls in morning. Bathroom had a dead crane fly in the bath. No evening meals until later as they had a coach party holidaying so kitchen couldn't manage too many meals. Clise enough to front to walk to restaurants so no major problem. Car park excellent. Breakfast was buffet style cereal, toast, fruits etc and waitress delivered full english and hot drinks. Really nice selection. One issue was shower was not very powerful, enough, just, but a greater flow would make it better.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, walking distance to seafront, very nice room and comfy bed. Was able to stay with my dog too which was nice.

Inadequate ventilation in corridors which kept upper floors too hot àll day, bedrooms would benefit from fan assisted vent to outside, or Aircon. No vent or window in bathroom/toilet.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location in the middle of a residential area just back from the sea front, but because of this the car park is tiny and irregularly shaped so only about 6 spaces really available to use. The outside has seen better days and could benefit from a lick of paint and it can appear a bit dated inside as well. Room was nice and comfy with a refurbished bathroom, nice staff and a good choice of food available.

Just a 1 night stay as i was working in the area and my wife was accompanying me. As it turned out we had stayed here before some years ago. As then we had no complaints, the room was clean comfortable and warm and close enough to the sea front to take a walk.

Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. Massive shower and super modern and clean. Highly recommended.

Check-in was fast are room was clean but we did have to say to staff member that are shower was not good no pressure at all so had to wash in the sink breakfast was ok but we did have a fantastic night's sleep

Receptinn and check in easy. Room large but bathroom needed sorting as shower screen bottom needs either a good clean or replacing. Water took a long while to get hot but when it did we were unable to turn the heat down

The rooms were clean and well serviced. The bed was solid and comfy. The staff were very helpful. I saw people have had issues with the water pressure in the showers. I waited about twenty seconds for the pump to kick in and it was a great shower. Comments about the walls being thin. On the first night I had nightmare neighbours. But Steve promptly dealt with them and no more noise. Simples. I was there for 5 nights. Had different, more courteous neighbours during the rest of my stay. No issues. Cheers guys. I'll see you again if working in the area. 👍. Keep up the good work. Damian

10/10! Staff were so welcoming and were very accomodatinmg to me under my unfortunate circumstances. The rooms were of a high standard, they felt super safe and were very very quiet with no noise at all. I stayed here for just under a week and I felt very well looked after, especially after a lovely lady called Louise who was always there if I needed anything. Looking forward to staying again!

This was a truly shocking experience. No hot water and when there was it lasted 30 seconds before going cold again. Washing machine above our room on all night and also on the end cycle. Asked staff to turn it off as it was making racket every 5 seconds but they never did. Truly the worst night in a hotel I have ever had. Shame on this place and the management.

10/10! Staff were so welcoming and were very accomodatinmg to me under my unfortunate circumstances. It was comfortable, it was a round a 10 min walk from Paignton station and a 5 min walk from the promenade, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The reason for my 4 strars on some of the things was because at breakfast they forgot about me when asking what i wanted for a cooked breakfast and also my shower was very hot and i couldn't regulate the temperature, i reoprted this to reception in the morning and the guy said he would get straight on it also he did offer me another room to shower in ( which was a nice touch) but I'd managed to shower in my room, all in all a nice little B&B to stay in for 1 night.

Quite large hotel, rooms big enough clean and quiet, apart from seagulls in morning. Bathroom had a dead crane fly in the bath. No evening meals until later as they had a coach party holidaying so kitchen couldn't manage too many meals. Clise enough to front to walk to restaurants so no major problem. Car park excellent. Breakfast was buffet style cereal, toast, fruits etc and waitress delivered full english and hot drinks. Really nice selection. One issue was shower was not very powerful, enough, just, but a greater flow would make it better.

I would definitely use this hotel again The staff the room, far and breakfasts were excellent Was a little dark walking back to the hotel on an evening and the car park was really dark All in all I would use it again

Easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, walking distance to seafront, very nice room and comfy bed. Was able to stay with my dog too which was nice.

It was comfortable, it was a round a 10 min walk from Paignton station and a 5 min walk from the promenade, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The reason for my 4 strars on some of the things was because at breakfast they forgot about me when asking what i wanted for a cooked breakfast and also my shower was very hot and i couldn't regulate the temperature, i reoprted this to reception in the morning and the guy said he would get straight on it also he did offer me another room to shower in ( which was a nice touch) but I'd managed to shower in my room, all in all a nice little B&B to stay in for 1 night.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location in the middle of a residential area just back from the sea front, but because of this the car park is tiny and irregularly shaped so only about 6 spaces really available to use. The outside has seen better days and could benefit from a lick of paint and it can appear a bit dated inside as well. Room was nice and comfy with a refurbished bathroom, nice staff and a good choice of food available.

Dancing and entertainment on ground floor seemed that you were trying to sleep in a dancing club and not in a hotel. The television had no signal. The breakfast was so terrible and smelled badly . I wonder if these people have any idea of what a hotel seemed to be.

Check-in was fast are room was clean but we did have to say to staff member that are shower was not good no pressure at all so had to wash in the sink breakfast was ok but we did have a fantastic night's sleep

This is a very basic hotel.The staff are very friendly. Not much choice at breakfast .If you want more tea or coffee they charge an extra 10p per item the room is basic.it is ok for a budget hotel.

Without doubt the worst hotel I've stayed at. Don't believe the photos on the website; this hotel is run down and dirty. The staff seemed miserable, possibly worn down by the numerous guest complaints I witnessed during my week long stay. These complaints included loud banging at night, drug use, unpleasant smell from shower and dirty towels. In my room the TV was broken, black specks came out of the tap, the sheet was too short for the bed and the walls and furniture were scuffed and dirty. I had to be moved to a different room at 2am one night because a guest was banging on doors and demanding food. When I asked the night staff why they don't ask him to leave (in accordance with their policy), I was told he's a local drug dealer who stays at the hotel when the police are watching his house. I was supposed to stay at Torbay Court Hotel for 2 weeks but moved to a different hotel for the 2nd week because I didn't feel safe there.

The hotel is down a back street so it's fairly quite and very close to the sea front . I was booked for business and I would give it a mixed review . On the plus location , parking and access to the sea front . My room was clean but my mattress was awful . You could feel every spring and it was very uncomfortable the shower was awful

The hotel is in a quiet location yet you can reach the town centre by foot fairly quickly by walking through Victoria Park. My single room had a new bathroom and a view from the window. I was impressed by the spacious dining room where I had my breakfasts which were prepared especially for me. The TV in my room was newish and worked well.

Booked in for 2 nights , only stayed 1 night as the bed was so uncomfortable, the shower would only work on scalding hot or freezing cold , could not control it , doors banging most of the night , and when I got to the room as it was hot went to put the fan on and did not work , so went down to reception , the gentleman said he would find me another one , we went out when we got back there was another one in the room , but it was a heater not a fan , and you could roll the dust of the back of it , so got another one , and that was another heater I gave up in the end , would never stay there again .plus we did not get our room cleaned .
