I was swapped for a ground floor disabled room, as I have difficulty walking, which was great, so kudos. However, the room was dusty, carpet had marks all over it and the bathroom had mouldy grouting. However, the staff were absolutely brilliant, super helpful and couldn't do more for their guests. I would recommend staying there just for the service they provide.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room, nice and clean too. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff helpful and efficient. Convenient for the M5 with plenty of free parking. Really good value.

I booked last minute and it was terrible. Dirty room facing a busy dual carriageway. Single glazed windows let in a lot of noise and draft. Furniture shakes when a lorry drives past. It was a local Biker night on the night I stayed so no parking and locals very unwelcoming. Bar staff extremely rude and disinterested.

Had the Family room for one night, clean and tidy no frills as you would expect. Car parking plentiful and staff freindly. I did not wonder into the bar for food but everyone seemed happy.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Overnight stopover , only had breakfast which was fresh cooked and served to the table. A very nice "pub with rooms" , very comfortable bed. Useful as a midway point when travelling to , Cornwall as only a short distance from the motorway and easy to find.

Food not upto standard. Corridor to bedroom dirty. Room ok ,carpet neds a good clean. Bathroom moldy ceiling and shower surround black with mold. Overall place looks a mess. Would not recommend at all. Dirty and shabby. Not worth the money whatsoever.

The staff where friendly booking in easy. Room was dirty the whole place seemed greasy. Shower was unuseable due to black mould in the seals an in the grout lines.

Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again.

Bathroom wasnt clean. This wasnt dealt with and Hotel apparently unprepared to do anything about this. Added to this I paid £18 for breakfast and thry altered the times advertised so I couldnt get breakfast (I booked the place due to advertised times). The breakfast offered wasnt what was advertised either, no hot food offered (Just toast, cereal and some dodgy looking fruit). Am yet to be offered a refund on any of this yet by Expedia or the hotel (although the chap in hotel said he wpuld get breakfast refunded as I left).

We had a few of issues to begin with which were sorted out quickly and efficiently, a front room which was changed to a back room, a TV remote that wasn't working (they changed the batteries) and a cloudy lager that was exchanged with no quibbles. The bedroom was generally ok, but would have benefitted with brighter bedside lighting and the mould in the en-suite ceiling needs sorting, the remainder of the en-suite was very clean. Generally the hotel looked in need of refreshing, but again the staff were very good and attentive.

The carpet was really dirty and looked really shabby. The wall was really dirty too. The single bed had a mattress that was ridiculously hard and our daughter couldnt sleep on it. The single bed had stains/marks on the box at the base of the bed. The room was incredibly hot and stuffy and the fan did not make any difference and we had both windows open. There was no hot water to have a bath so had to make do with a lukewarm shower instead. The bedding was clean and the tv worked and so did the wifi so that was a bonus i suppose.

Excellent stay. Exceptionally clean and tidy and modern. Good bang for your buck. And the food and bar was top notch. This has been the best stay we have had in our trip in uk to date for price, comfort and food.

Room was quite big. Bed was good. Room was dull and poorly lit. Only one Bedside Lamp. No Lamp on Dressing Table. Overhead Lighting Dull. Bathroom very small. Shower Mold. Door only opened halfway. Basin was in the way. Hot Tap spun when operated. Cold Tap ran warm. Toilet close to wall and Toilet Roll Holder was digging in your arm. Secondary Double Glazing was pointless. Some vibration in room. Think due to Traffic. Restaurant Tables Sticky. Both evening meals had to go back as we're wrong. Veg Burger Meal was poor. Breakfast poor also. Full English Bacon hardly cooked. Toast hardly seen the Toaster. That had to be redone. Continental Breakfast was poor Quality. Salty Yogurt and Fruit. Thin Porridge. Whole experience was not enjoyable at all. Would not recommend at all. I would ideally like full compensation. Terrible.

I stopped in room No1 and the road noise is terrible plus when a lorry goes past the building the room shakes, the windows vibrate and the cups on the side shake. terrible sleep and for the money poor. The cold water is hot and has to be run for a couple of minutes to get and cold water. Do not stop in room 1.

Check in was easy, room was clean and roomy, bathroom a little dated but adequate, my only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the door to something that has better sound proofing as the room opens directly on to the carpark all noises can be clearl heard and occasionally were quite loud.

Our stay was lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were very approachable, professional, polite, helpful. The food was all cooked well, and decent size potions. The pub and accommodation was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Reasonably priced big room with all amenities needed Only criticism would be the info on the website is wrong as said we had till 11pm to check in but we were out and they rang and said they actually close at 10 so we had to rush to get there

We have had a fantastic time here. The staff were amazing the location was perfect for the event we were going to. The manageress was so helpful and accommodating she went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome. She and the rest of the staff are a credit to the company and we will definitely be back next year. Highly recommended

Arrived after a long journey, waited for ages to be checked in. Went to room which was ok if a little scruffy, went down for food. Both ordered steak medium rare and when it came it was raw in the middle. Woke next morning to a sign on door saying not opening until 12 which meant no breakfast being served (no mention of this at check in) went to have a shower and there was no water. So no shower, no coffee or anything. Would have been nice if they had left bottles of water. No number left to get in touch with anyone and no one on site.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room, nice and clean too. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff helpful and efficient. Convenient for the M5 with plenty of free parking. Really good value.

This is great for a stop over. Side of a main road so expect a little noise. Room clean but normal things like carpet and decor is a little worn.

We have had a fantastic time here. The staff were amazing the location was perfect for the event we were going to. The manageress was so helpful and accommodating she went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome. She and the rest of the staff are a credit to the company and we will definitely be back next year. Highly recommended

A brilliant place to stay from our lovely welcome to our food and bedroom. All first class would highly recommend. There is some road noise if you are on the front but it didn’t disturb us we slept really well.

I stopped in room No1 and the road noise is terrible plus when a lorry goes past the building the room shakes, the windows vibrate and the cups on the side shake. terrible sleep and for the money poor. The cold water is hot and has to be run for a couple of minutes to get and cold water. Do not stop in room 1.

I booked last minute and it was terrible. Dirty room facing a busy dual carriageway. Single glazed windows let in a lot of noise and draft. Furniture shakes when a lorry drives past. It was a local Biker night on the night I stayed so no parking and locals very unwelcoming. Bar staff extremely rude and disinterested.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Overnight stopover , only had breakfast which was fresh cooked and served to the table. A very nice "pub with rooms" , very comfortable bed. Useful as a midway point when travelling to , Cornwall as only a short distance from the motorway and easy to find.

Our stay was lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were very approachable, professional, polite, helpful. The food was all cooked well, and decent size potions. The pub and accommodation was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Rummet var kallt när jag kom (4 grader ute). En morgon när jag skulle ha frukost då hade inte kocken kommit, det blev frukost på McDonalds, som ligger bara 400 meter därifrån. Det låg en pub på hotellet, som serverade typisk pubmat och bra öl.

Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again.

Bathroom wasnt clean. This wasnt dealt with and Hotel apparently unprepared to do anything about this. Added to this I paid £18 for breakfast and thry altered the times advertised so I couldnt get breakfast (I booked the place due to advertised times). The breakfast offered wasnt what was advertised either, no hot food offered (Just toast, cereal and some dodgy looking fruit). Am yet to be offered a refund on any of this yet by Expedia or the hotel (although the chap in hotel said he wpuld get breakfast refunded as I left).

Arrived after a long journey, waited for ages to be checked in. Went to room which was ok if a little scruffy, went down for food. Both ordered steak medium rare and when it came it was raw in the middle. Woke next morning to a sign on door saying not opening until 12 which meant no breakfast being served (no mention of this at check in) went to have a shower and there was no water. So no shower, no coffee or anything. Would have been nice if they had left bottles of water. No number left to get in touch with anyone and no one on site.

Nice enough hotel and the staff were all great. The restaurant closes at 9pm, which can be an issue if you are late travelling. The rooms are clean and tidy, but could do with upgrading to meet modern expectations. I will stay again though.

Excellent stay. Exceptionally clean and tidy and modern. Good bang for your buck. And the food and bar was top notch. This has been the best stay we have had in our trip in uk to date for price, comfort and food.

Nice room, with a very big bed. Small issue with room was a security light right outside bedroom window that was very bright. The Admiral table pub was cold. The air con was on in the evening and at breakfast, set too low. We found table as far from air conditioning as possible.

The Inn felt a bit tacky, the tables were sticky. The room was clean but could do with a refresh. The walls were thin and we could hear other guests talking at night and the car alarms outside. The bed was OK. Breakfast was again only OK. It was lower cost and felt so.

Bed & pillows were lovely & comfy & we had an excellent nights sleep. Shower would benefit from a deep clean around shower gel holder as it was a little mouldy all around it. Tea/coffee tray was very dusty but the room may not have been occupied for a few days hence a build up of dust as the window was slightly open. Apart from me being picky about those two things it was very cheap & therefore I didn’t expect the Ritz at that price. All the staff who dealt with us were very helpful & friendly & I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
