We stayed in the house at the entrance. It’s very big! Loved the welcome board. Dinner in the dome was great. Food wasn’t high end but fun and the staff were great. For the experience it was a solid 8.5/10. I’d recommend for a family occasion. The cows were a great extra as the kids fed them! Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Golf looked great too.

We were very fortunate as we were told on arrival that we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the gorgeous Room 1. The hotel is lovely, the food is very good and the staff are very courteous. The location was also a good base for visiting lots of different places in the area. The only thing I didn’t like (small gripe) was the music they piped into the communal areas - awful covers and a wee bit too loud. I really hope we stay at this hotel again. I was sad to leave the comfort of Room 1.

The property was stunning, with a beautiful golf course, ponds, highland cows, swans and even donkeys! The dining was fantastic, the rooms were large and clean with amazing views and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were so impressed with everything and will definitely stay here again.

Meldrum house hotel is truely remarkable and staff are so very nice friendly and hotel is so very clean .best hotel outstanding .place .just get it back to using cash .in the bar .and it is a shame that there is no swimming pool or gym or jacuzzi..

I travel for work frequently & this is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Tge hotel is set in tge mist beautiful ground with a golf course also. The hotel itself is an old stone country house with addition of a new modern accommodation block. The main old part of the hotel has retained all its original features & feels very welcoming. Overall it’s is spotlessly clean, the staff are excellent & the food amazing. The view from my bedroom floor to ceiling window of tge grounds was just stunning of tge grounds & golf course. I would highly recommend & hope to return for another visit

I always stay for a few nights in November. My friend was pregnant and we stayed for her birthday celebration. I made this very clear and stated that she was pregnant. Before dinner I decided to go for a shower and there was no hot water so I had a freezing cold shower. To top it off, the heating wasn’t working. They also gave us a room above the function room where they were hosting a large Xmas party! The room was vibrating and we were told that this would go on until 12:30pm Not okay. So they moved us rooms at 11pm - this suite has no heating so they gave us a Dyson heater to help! Absolutely rubbish service. On checkout I was advised the manager would call me to issue a refund, no call was received! I’m so disappointed in Meldrum House! What a waste of money.

There was an issue with hot water running out on our first morning which we were advised was due to a large party checking out that morning but given we were in the newer extension of the hotel we felt this fell below our expectations particularly given how much they charge per night.

Room was far too hot, broken controls on air conditioning so could not control. Hotel knew there was a problem as there was two fans in the room beforehand. Window could only stay open if something was left to keep it jarred open, and if you did do this you would hear people in the car park at 1.30/2am leaving a wedding. Not a relaxing experience. Breakfast was below average.

Booked a few nights at Meldrum House while visiting family. Enjoyed my room which was very large. The shower was great! Had a bit of an issue in the restaurant the night we dined in but the reception staff was kind and helpful, adjusting our final bill to reflect the inconvenience which I appreciated. Would definitely return!

The hotel is amazing in nearly everything. The only couple of issues I had was the bed wasnt the best. And getting woke up at 0540 by a delivery van outside my window wasn't ideal.

Absolutely stunning hotel, we stayed in the deluxe estate suite with a golf course view which made the experience a whole lot better. We dined in the cave bar where the food and drinks were amazing and I would 100% reccomend.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. Whilst the chef/kitchen were very amendable to preparing gluten free options they could life easier for themselves by tweaking the menu. I will be going back.

We were very fortunate as we were told on arrival that we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the gorgeous Room 1. The hotel is lovely, the food is very good and the staff are very courteous. The location was also a good base for visiting lots of different places in the area. The only thing I didn’t like (small gripe) was the music they piped into the communal areas - awful covers and a wee bit too loud. I really hope we stay at this hotel again. I was sad to leave the comfort of Room 1.

We’ve been to Scotland three times, and this is the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed! We were in Heaven. When Americans think of the Higjlands, this is what we envision.

The property was stunning, with a beautiful golf course, ponds, highland cows, swans and even donkeys! The dining was fantastic, the rooms were large and clean with amazing views and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were so impressed with everything and will definitely stay here again.

I travel for work frequently & this is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Tge hotel is set in tge mist beautiful ground with a golf course also. The hotel itself is an old stone country house with addition of a new modern accommodation block. The main old part of the hotel has retained all its original features & feels very welcoming. Overall it’s is spotlessly clean, the staff are excellent & the food amazing. The view from my bedroom floor to ceiling window of tge grounds was just stunning of tge grounds & golf course. I would highly recommend & hope to return for another visit

Staff were amazing. The cave bar, food was outstanding. Room was beautiful. Comfy big bed, walk in shower, fantastic pressure. WiFi speed was around 70mbps and free to use. Breakfast was cooked fresh. Will stay again.

Fantastic stay at Meldrum House! We dined in the Cave bar and had the Valentine’s menu - the meal and service was first class. The hotel is lovely inside, the room was spacious and super clean. We found the coffee supplied inside the room was very good also, the little details really made it worth it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend it to others.

Booked a few nights at Meldrum House while visiting family. Enjoyed my room which was very large. The shower was great! Had a bit of an issue in the restaurant the night we dined in but the reception staff was kind and helpful, adjusting our final bill to reflect the inconvenience which I appreciated. Would definitely return!

The Meldrum House Country Hotel is definitely a wonderful option for a quiet and luxurious stay. Amazing the deluxe room with an incredible view towards the golf course. Very bright and spacious. Unfortunately the breakfast service was not up to our expectations. We were asked to book the arrival time and despite that we had to wait 15min to receive coffee and tea and other 5min to receive the cups. We then had the chance to order and we received the breakfast about 40min after we were seated. This was highlighted to the manager who apologised. It looks like there was a large table of guest in another room but this does not justify the delay in our view, given the level of this hotel. Despite this we would definitely spend another occasion at such special place.

Absolutely stunning hotel, we stayed in the deluxe estate suite with a golf course view which made the experience a whole lot better. We dined in the cave bar where the food and drinks were amazing and I would 100% reccomend.

Everything was wonderful about this hotel! The only suggestion I have is about the dome dining. There has a better way for the poor wait staff to serve. Get him a pushcart or something!! He did an excellent job.

Room was far too hot, broken controls on air conditioning so could not control. Hotel knew there was a problem as there was two fans in the room beforehand. Window could only stay open if something was left to keep it jarred open, and if you did do this you would hear people in the car park at 1.30/2am leaving a wedding. Not a relaxing experience. Breakfast was below average.

Beautiful hotel, ground and room. Hotel - truly amazing, thoroughly recommend. Room? Has everything you need - TV, Hairdryer, robes, water, fresh milk and nice tea. Showers and the accompanying shampoo, hand and body wash all smell amazing!! The room itself also has a sofa with table plus 2 small chairs/table by the window. Very spacious. Wasn't a fan of the in-room shortbread, reckon there are better brands out there - perhaps Walkers or Reids of Caithness. The 'Steven Brown' shortbread is a bit stale/all funky packaging but inferior product. I ordered in-room service as I had skipped lunch that day, lovely. Can't fault it at all! Bar is really small but is lovely and has a good range to choose from, great for a few drinks before bed. Breakfast was also great! Loved my stay, will definitely return again

Nice grounds and nice room, poor selection of lager. Service lets it down. Few days of no response prior to the visit via hotel.com messaging followed by a couple of days of no answer on the telephone. slow service at evening meal then terrible service at breakfast. Had to leave the breakfast table for work after waiting 38 minutes for scrambled egg. After noting everyone dining at 33 minutes i prompted them then they brought the wrong dish. Having to leave mid meal to check out didnt leave a good final memory

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great breakfasts. I could move in! My only problem was arriving late at night in the dark, I couldn't find reception to check in, and nobody answered the phone when I called.
