Super 8 by Wyndham Gallipolis Pt Pleasant Area

It was clean, good price. Staff was extremely helpful.

The front desk girl was wonderful. Quick and pleasant check in. However, our king bed room we booked was obviously being used or squatted. We unlocked the door to an obviously in use room. She was confused herself because the system said it was available. The "upgrade" was 2 queen beds. The room was much more run down than the one we walked into. The hotel itself was run down, but it did appear as though they are working on it a little at a time. The staff and entry were good. Beds were comfortable and we slept well which is the important thing. We were just staying over on the way to South Carolina.

Both of our rooms smelled -1 smelled musty as though it had not been opened in months and had previously been wet and the other smelled like weed. The laundry room was clean but the front loaders both smelled like mold. The front desk employee working the evening we arrived was excellent and an exceptionally hard worker! Breakfast was .... Lacking.

Great stay. We were only there for a night. But easy access , and the room was clean in the staff was friendly. This was our 2nd stay/visit

I had to lug suitcases up a flight of stairs because there was no elevator access to my room. The whole hotel is outdated and tired. I do not recommend.
