The staff seemed overworked; Barry Noth was great at check-in, but subsequent front desk staff had to do laundry etc. The toilet ran continuously while we were there. I reported it. It was nice to see games out in the sitting area, but the chess set was missing some pieces. The shower water was just lukewarm. The pool was closed for maintenance.

Upon arrival with my family at 645pm the facility did not have a room available despite the fact the room was booked online at Hotels.com. We were told housekeeping staff was limited all day and they were still working on cleaning rooms. We waited until 805pm to only find out that the room was still not available but the front desk clerk was willing to “bump” someone else reservation. Unfortunately I was not willing to do that to someone else so they would need to wait. We left the facility, and will not return. This is a reflection of poor management.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. A bit far from downtown St Albans. Nothing to walk to here but a Stewart's.

No card access, or entry when parking in back of building. Although the clerks at checkout were pleasant, the one who checked us in was robotic and unfriendly (perhaps having a bad day, still not acceptable) Shower doesn't have spray pattern adjustments/settings and has weak pressure. There isn't ice on each floor. Other than that, it was an average hotel overall experience.
