Great room, super ac, comfy bed, staff very welcoming and helpful. Very quiet. Easy walking distance to Petco and lots of fun bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

It’s been a few years since I’ve stayed here, the place has become very run down. The furniture in the lobby and in the rooms was stained or broken( bed, lamp, dresser). Valet was $70.00 a night, not one offer off help off load or load luggage. Charge in advance a mandatory $35.00 to use the gym, ride their bikes and eat onsite. I didn’t do any of those things. Through the years I’ve stayed here maybe 6 times, definitely was my last time. Not reflective of the hotel.. but that whole Gaslamp area smells like dog urine and the drug issues make it unsafe to just walk around.

The bathroom sink backed up full of detritus from the sewer? We told the front desk and they did nothing all day. Then when we got back to our room, there was worse that had come up. Night desk guy got a night repairman to fix the drain, but we were up til midnight with the cleanup. The resort fee is ridiculous.

Loved the convenience of the location. We had a view of the park from our room! Staff for hotel were super friendly and helpful. And the bar up top was relaxing. We had a credit each night for food or beverage. Just be prepared to pay 70$ a night for valet. Unless you want to park a couple blocks over at a parking garage. May be full though if there’s a Padres game.

The hotel was in a perfect location for us to visit Petco Park and San Diego Zoo. A couple blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter. Not too close for the noise and crowds but close enough to walk. The seaport was about a mile away which we didn’t get to visit. We were in the area to see the Yankees at Padres plus visit the zoo. I should have planned another day in the hotel since there is so much to see. I would not park a car here it is too expensive and to uber places is cheaper than a days parking. We ate at the roof top restaurant. There was a party booked so the seating was limited but the view and food was excellent.
