Staybridge Suites Quantico-Stafford by IHG

Traveling with my kids from OBX to NJ and needed an overnight stay to break up the commute. This location seemed great, right off 95 and near some different food option. Included a pool and a highly rated breakfast. Upon arrival I was informed that the room type I reserved with two queen beds was not available and they only had a room with a King Bed and pull out sofa to accommodate my family of 4. After dealing with 6 hours of traffic I didn’t argue and just said fine, looking to just plop and relax. Kids enjoyed the pool (5’ deep) although the room was extremely hot and smelled terrible which lead me to cutting their swim time short cause I didn’t want to stay in that confined space. Back up to the room where we enjoyed the large screen tv, and pulled out the sleeper sofa to reveal no linens on the sofa bed and no spare linens in the room. A call to the front desk was met with a statement of no house keeping on site and I needed to make another trip to retrieve the linens to make the sofa bed. Those linens weren’t the right size but I made it work as my family and I desperately needed to rest. Breakfast was excellent with some great staff that check on food allergy information and was extremely polite. So, thankfully the morning was a great start to the day before completing my trek back to NJ which was routed out through Gettysburg to avoid the traffic in the DC and Baltimore areas. Hoping the refund promised is delivered, but its been a week.

My stay was excellent, I only wish is for smart TV’s so I may access my streaming services

There was not a lot of food on the pantry is my only complaint everything else was wonderful
