This hotel had great accommodations – a super comfortable bed, quiet setting, friendly housekeeping and front desk staff, some beautiful art, and a lovely outdoor patio for hanging out. The restaurant needs some work. The food was not of the calibur I'd expect from a boutique hotel; it was more of a 2-star experience. The menu items themselves were pretty basic, the ingredients were pretty common (i.e., canned Tostitos-type salsa on my nachos, no variety in the toppings). The kitchen seemed understaffed, which I know is challenging in our current times. Work on that, and it'll be perfect!

The hotel is cute and clean and close to everything. I would give it five out of five stars for everything with one exception: There was a law school reunion last night that went until almost midnight and disrupted the entire hotel. Having spent the weekend burying my mother in law, we were emotionally and physically exhausted, and had I known there was going to be a loud band, literally shaking the building into the evening we would not have stayed here. I would call and ask if there are any special events going on prior to staying. We also almost had nowhere to park despite paying for secure parking. We got the last spot last night. Not sure what happens or where you park when that happens as all the lots around are by permit only.

Perfect location for walking to everything downtown. I really liked the decor and furnishings. No free breakfast or complimentary items such as water, though. The restaurant on the first floor looked popular.

Very nice staff, especially Valencia who handles the breakfast orders and makes sure guests have what they need. She is delightful and a real asset to the hotel. Lovely patio area for a late dinner or drink. Good location- walkable to all the restaurants downtown but on the edge so you avoid a lot of traffic, have a quieter atmosphere.

Great property. Hotel is so nice. Parking is tough though. Not many spots and always full. No place to park nearby. Parking is charged with each visit as well.

My wife and i stayed at the Athens Hotel Indigo for a night away with out our kids. The room was not clean but also not dirty ditry. There was a lot off dust under the entertainment ceter with old candy under there. We then found a pill on the ground in plane site. I went to take a shower and the towel was noticeably dirty.

The hotel indigo is my favorite hotel chain. The buildings are always just the right amount of funky, and the check in clerk in Athens Georgia was just delightful. The room looked great upon check-in, however later in the evening, when we returned from dinner I discovered that there was dried human waste dripped down the outside of the toilet bowl. I then looked more closely at the bathroom and realized that the whole room was dirty. The corners of the room had hair and dirty gathered in them, there was significant dust on the surfaces. I would say the only clean area was the mirror and inside the shower. I did inform the check out clerk as I was leaving but she was on a phone call and did not seem concerned. I really hope that the quality of Indigo is not going the same way as other chains have in the past. It would be a shame!

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. There was a small spill from a drink on the coffee bar and a couple of long hairs in the bed. Not filthy, but concerning... because of what we might not be able to see. It was also really loud throughout the night. This property is pricey, so we expected more.

Well, at first glance the room looked good and smelled clean, however there was a lot of black mold in the shower as well as a used wet washcloth. But the worst was the underwear left behind on the floor. Front desk did not come to collect it until the 2nd request 3 hours after first pointing it out. That was disappointing as it was a good location and modern set up.

The hotel was not very clean. Clearly, the cleaning did just a quick wipe down of everything and never got to the harder areas to clean. The ice bucket, coffee maker, and grout in the shower were all filthy with built up gunk. There was also an open coffee creamer packet left there. Yuk. I would not choose this hotel again.

We’re very pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean, well kept, and styled nicely. Our family of 4 never felt tight on space. The room had lots of seating and space to place our things without being in anyone else’s way. We stayed only one night. Our stay was due to an event at the Classic Center. The walk to our event and to local restaurants was easy. We didn’t have to get in a car until we left to go home. I believe the hotel was at capacity during our stay, but you wouldn’t know that walking around the lobby. The only tell was the fact that we got the very last open spot in the parking lot.

Hotel looked amazing but upon check in found that the television in room was not functional andvwas given a tech services number by the staff to call, sit on wait for an hour and try to resolve with tech support to no avail. The following day the shift manager fixed which was great given the expectation of service. Next night guests were out in the halls until 330 am yelling and screaming and when staff was alerted, it was dismissed and offending guests were abusive towards us reporting them due to their dustegard for others rest and sleep at that late hour. Worst experience we've had at any hotel and sad given the price and expectations of decent service. Avoid if you can and we will never visit the chain again after the experiences.

I had an important zoom meeting the person at the front desk was so helpful and set me up in a conference area! I can’t remember her name but she was truly amazing! This is a perfect stopping place if you are traveling to Florida! The hotel is clean, modern and updated, and the staff is incredible! I definitely will return to this hotel and location. If in Athens use this hotel! College mom here-you will love it! Dog friendly and accommodating!

My daughter and I visited Athens last week to tour UGA and had a wonderful stay at your hotel! Your team met us with warmth, professionalism and gracious southern hospitality! From the phone call to confirm availability to check in to the lattes from the cafe in the morning we could not have been more pleased! Our room was perfect and the beds beyond comfortable! We'd like to specifically mention Broc and Valencia who made us feel so welcome! They are both tremendous assets to your Indigo Athens team! We will definitely be back!

10/8 At 250p to check in I was told by Amber a text would be sent as soon as rooms were available. The text was never sent 8/10. I saw people checking in getting rooms. When I asked, they had no idea why we did not get a text. I never got one but my son got one on his room being available the next morning. There was no record of 1 dog. They said info does not always come through from Expedia. Im thankful we atleast got rooms on the same floor. The bed was great! Everyone was very nice and professional which helped an ify checkin. Overall the stay was good.

We’re very pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean, well kept, and styled nicely. Our family of 4 never felt tight on space. The room had lots of seating and space to place our things without being in anyone else’s way. We stayed only one night. Our stay was due to an event at the Classic Center. The walk to our event and to local restaurants was easy. We didn’t have to get in a car until we left to go home. I believe the hotel was at capacity during our stay, but you wouldn’t know that walking around the lobby. The only tell was the fact that we got the very last open spot in the parking lot.

The staff was nice and helpful. Because it was NYE, the restaurant closed early and staff was obviously ready to leave early (which I can understand)… Still, I feel that I got kind-of short-changed because of that. Having to pay $10/day for parking that’s so packed that I had to park in a “low-emissions vehicle” spot was not expected and frustrating. There were things that I haven’t experienced at any other stay, such as the fact that one of the key cards had to stay in place in a slot by the door for there to be power at all during the stay. I love the fact that they’re environmentally conscious, but the fridge never got cold and that may have been part of that. The bed was INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE! The shower water pressure was not good at all and the shower head that was removable wasn’t working. The floor hadn’t been swept/vacuumed and surfaces had not been wiped down, especially in the bathroom & shower. I was a head housekeeper years ago, so I know how hard housekeeping can be, but corners like these can’t be cut. I may stay here again for a staycation, but hope that the management pays attention to these things. All in all not a bad stay, especially for the price.

I loved the hotel but had a terrible experience with a waitress in the bistro/bar. The bistro closes at 10:30, at 10pm after a 9 hr drive we asked her if we could order food. She became furious and said we had one min to order that we really shouldn't be allowed to order. She then said i can't take care of you. One of the servers will have to help you. She yelled back to her co-workers "shut the kitchen down now, no one else can order, everyone else can figure out how to do uber eats." The server apologized for her behavior and said the kitchen doesn't close until 10pm so i don't know why she's doing that. Everyone else was great! Property was nice.

All of the staff was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. The food at the onsite restaurant was enjoyable and we enjoyed trivia night too! The workout room was clean and comfortable. Four stars and not five because we had several light bulbs in our room that needed replacing, making our evening time a bit dim.

When we left our room at 11:00 AM Housekeeping was in the hallway. We asked did we need to request housekeeping she said no she would clean the room. When we returned to the room at 3:00 the room was not clean and housekeeping was gone for the day. We had to pack up and change rooms. Get to our new clean room and the television lost its signal during the NBA playoffs. We spent Cadillac money for a KIA experience.

This was our first time in Athens and Hotel Indigo did not disappoint. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms have a "wow" factor. The beds are comfortable and everything felt clean and well maintained. The front desk person who checked us in was very nice and allowed us to check in early, which was very much appreciated after being on the road for six hours. We had complimentary breakfast vouchers, and it was delicious. We will definitely stay at Hotel Indigo again!
