They said the room would be ready by 3. I arrived at 4 and it was not ready. They said to give them a half hour. I went to eat and came back at 5. The room was still not ready. I had to wait another 20 minutes. On the other hand, when I finally did get in, everything was great. Staff was very helpful and apologetic for the delay, and went out of their way to help me with other stuff. The handicap access room was exactly as described and well equipped.

The entire inside was dirty smelled like smoke. The walls were sticky, the floor was dirty never mopped left your feet black on the bottom. Toilet was broken. Very sketchy people stay there.

The staff at Suburban Suites were very friendly and my room was spacious and clean. During my stay, the new owners were cleaning up the outside of the hotel; making improvements in and outside the hotel; and it seemed to me that the goal was to elevate the hotel from a 2 Star Hotel to a 3 Star Hotel. The place in general is quite rundown and needs a lot of TLC and upgrades. Additionally, there were some unsavory individuals staying there, but I never felt unsafe…and everyone—no matter their personal circumstances—deserve a bed and place to stay. The rooms overall need an overhaul and general maintenance and sinks, closets, door handles, etc, need replaced. The bed was a king but definitely a cheap and squeaky bed. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a very convenient location, I recommend staying here. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers nothing more than the basics, I would find somewhere else to stay.
