Had a great stay here The front manager was very kind and accommodating. She was so kind and sweet to us and our baby. All other staff we encountered was also very kind. They were nice enough to let us check in early when we arrived as well as getting a crib in the room. Breakfast was hot and fresh and had many options. Very clean all around: room, breakfast area, lobby and pool. Great stay overall

It was real neat having the pond with alligators in it. It helped unwind after traveling. The staff were exceptional.

Found out there was no 18 wheeler parking even though they have multiple parking lots. When i called the front desk the guy was acting unconcerned and sleepy and told me i could cancel but i found an empty lot near by.The bed could have better kinda uncomfortable . Not many dining choices so had to order delivery and was looking forward to breakfast but when inwent down at 6 most of it was gone

I love this hotel and stay here often! It is located on a body of water feeding from the gulf and Neches river — with a beautiful elevated deck and pool, overlooking the water…tons of wildlife, and had a couple of small alligators hanging out below the lower cement deck (with a sturdy fence and safe for children). Pretty, nice and very relaxing! Clean and nice staff, too. Comfortable rooms.

We love staying at this hotel. Every time we come to Bridge City we look forward to our stay. It’s always clean and we love sitting outside on the boardwalk at nights with the cool breeze of the gulf and Neches River.

I'm very happy with my stay and experience at this La Quinta. Super clean and quiet room. Great view of the private lake and crystal clear pool. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked (get yourself a Texas shaped waffle!) As an added plus, they have at least one spot reserved for Veterans. Always great to see that. Will stay again when in town for family events.

My family an i stayed a nite during spring break..when we got to the hotel we were notified the elevator was out.. so we had to use the stair on both far sides of the building then we were told the pool an hot tub were out of service for the week for maintenance. Witch really suked cuz my kid was looking forward to that...an if that wasn't bad enough..we got woken up at midnight by a false fire alarm and had to evaluate to outside till they figure everything out.then to a second alarm 20mins after we were back in in our rooms..lets jst say it was a fun nite an my kid will now be foreverscared of the fire alarms... this by far was one of my worst stays iv had in a hotel an not even breakfast was hot.. we were told breakfast was from 6-9.. we got down there at 8 an everything was gone..not even coffee an they didnt even care to refill anything.. live an learn..i guess will jst have to get there earlier next time or pik a better place

The room smelled bad. And they have bed bugs! I'll never stay another La Quinta again. Got a dozen bites and now I'm having the fumigate everything that I had with me on the trip including my vehicle.

For the most part, the facility looks new, but in the bathrooms, the tub was chipped and made noises when you stepped in it in the showerhead were not clean, had mold or something black growing on the head

Outside the property was beautiful and serene. If only I paid to sleep outside this would have been a better experience. My family member in Beaumont is in hospice care and we traveled over five hours to come be with her. We set up all night with her and had to come to this hotel only to experience elephants and wrestling matches all day long above us coming from the third floor guests. We called down to the front desk and complained several times. It was ridiculous. The guests did not adhere at all. When I first arrived I believed the facility to be better than I expected. I’m used to the new designed La Quita Inn & Suites. We got to the room, it was spacious and felt comfortable. Until I went in the bathroom to shower. The shower head was filthy, there was what seemed to be pubic hair on the body wash pump, and a long blonde string of hair in the shower. There were no available hotels in the area so I had to overlook that but when my husband checked the bed, I was totally grossed out. I was so ready to get out of there. I have pictures and the recordings of the sound above our heads. I’m contacting the corporate office. Even as we left, I was so tired from the lack of rest, I was dozing off.

Perfect EXCEPT the bed, it was so hard! Had to use multiple pillows to get any sleep. Still, super clean, quiet, beautiful pool and hot tub with water view!

Ac is great ! It was freezing in our room when we arrived lol …. Slept like a baby .. only downside is blankets could be a little more thicker felts very thin .Breakfast was okay not much options around 8:30am .. other than that it was a nice stay - we checked in at 2:40AM and left at 8:45AM - total hours on site was 6 hours :) just needed a place to sleep . & it was perfect for that!

overall my stay was great, second time here. 1 thing i would say is bad is ive had 2 different room. the toilets have some kinda water saving device in the tank. they will not flush properly. you have to flush the toilet 3 or 4 times after every use. very annoying.

Check in attendant was very nice and polite. There was a washer and dryer in the lobby which was a bit odd. It was there the duration of my stay. The room was absolutely freezing. I had to turn the air off entirely to even get it to warm up at all. It also wouldn’t ever shut off, even on auto. I was either freezing or sweating. Not pleasant for sleeping. The walls are incredibly thin. I heard everything my neighbor did. The tv, his farting, his phone calls, his cell phone alarm. It did not do me any favors for sleeping. The room was clean. Bed comfy. My Uber eats order entirely busted in the lobby and spilled out on the floor and the the night attendant was so sweet to help me clean it up. I travel this way for work now but I likely will not stay here again.

Booked this place last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great, welcoming staff. The property is well taken care of, the rooms are spacious, clean, and have comfortable beds. If I pass through Bridge City again, I’ll certainly stay here again.

Found out there was no 18 wheeler parking even though they have multiple parking lots. When i called the front desk the guy was acting unconcerned and sleepy and told me i could cancel but i found an empty lot near by.The bed could have better kinda uncomfortable . Not many dining choices so had to order delivery and was looking forward to breakfast but when inwent down at 6 most of it was gone

The hotel was clean and felt new. Bed was comfortable. No complaints with the room and facilities. However, I'm a native Texas and I am ashamed of the staff. They weren't rude, but they were not friendly. No information was given to me about check out time or when breakfast was or where the ice machine was. When I went to look for the ice machine, the arrow pointed in the opposite direction. And there was never anyone at the desk, it was like they were hiding. I expected more from the staff.

Booked this place last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great, welcoming staff. The property is well taken care of, the rooms are spacious, clean, and have comfortable beds. If I pass through Bridge City again, I’ll certainly stay here again.

The property is in very good condition, very clean. My room was very nice. The check in staff was very good, but in the morning when checking out, the front desk seemed to be unmanned. I left my room key card in the box and departed.

I was pleased and grateful that I was able to check in early. When I walked into my room on 3rd floor as to be the quietest floor, I heard a dog continuously barking. At first, I had to collect myself and make sure that was what I was hearing. I was correct. A dog right across my room. I called front desk and staff immediately made arrangements to move me to another room, as I was given an option. My partner and I left to run errands as we returned, we noticed a dog odor immediately as we walked into the room. I again called front desk and again I was moved to another room. Finally, it was a great move. Thank you for your courtesy I highly recommend that only certain rooms be rented with pets and leave rooms that are no pets allowed.

I love this hotel and stay here often! It is located on a body of water feeding from the gulf and Neches river — with a beautiful elevated deck and pool, overlooking the water…tons of wildlife, and had a couple of small alligators hanging out below the lower cement deck (with a sturdy fence and safe for children). Pretty, nice and very relaxing! Clean and nice staff, too. Comfortable rooms.

We love staying at this hotel. Every time we come to Bridge City we look forward to our stay. It’s always clean and we love sitting outside on the boardwalk at nights with the cool breeze of the gulf and Neches River.

I'm very happy with my stay and experience at this La Quinta. Super clean and quiet room. Great view of the private lake and crystal clear pool. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked (get yourself a Texas shaped waffle!) As an added plus, they have at least one spot reserved for Veterans. Always great to see that. Will stay again when in town for family events.

Very nice and clean beautiful view of the lake, we were originally in a road frontage room but didn’t sleep much due to road noise and light in the window, was unaware there was a darkening shade behind the other shade but when I mentioned the noise the front desk attendant moved us to a lake side room and it was much better, everyone was very nice

We stopped for the night on our way to our final destination. We are a family of 5 with three little ones so we are always looking for good hotels that will not only be safe for our family but comfortable and affordable. This hotel is on our top five hotels that have stayed at while on road trips. Beautiful amenities, very very clean and the staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast food wasn’t the greatest but the view to the lake made up for it. Definitely recommend and we will be staying there on our future trips!

Breakfast ended at 9am too early. No food and then she would say I'll. Fix it and bring out like three sausages at a time and still cold. Very cheap ass hotel and when you leave no acknowledgement not even a thank. You

Had a great stay here The front manager was very kind and accommodating. She was so kind and sweet to us and our baby. All other staff we encountered was also very kind. They were nice enough to let us check in early when we arrived as well as getting a crib in the room. Breakfast was hot and fresh and had many options. Very clean all around: room, breakfast area, lobby and pool. Great stay overall

Excellent chain hotel with amazing staff. Super friendly in every way and accommodating. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Kids thoroughly enjoy watching alligators in the lake from our hotel room! Hot breakfast was excellent. Thank you, LaQuinta!

My family an i stayed a nite during spring break..when we got to the hotel we were notified the elevator was out.. so we had to use the stair on both far sides of the building then we were told the pool an hot tub were out of service for the week for maintenance. Witch really suked cuz my kid was looking forward to that...an if that wasn't bad enough..we got woken up at midnight by a false fire alarm and had to evaluate to outside till they figure everything out.then to a second alarm 20mins after we were back in in our rooms..lets jst say it was a fun nite an my kid will now be foreverscared of the fire alarms... this by far was one of my worst stays iv had in a hotel an not even breakfast was hot.. we were told breakfast was from 6-9.. we got down there at 8 an everything was gone..not even coffee an they didnt even care to refill anything.. live an learn..i guess will jst have to get there earlier next time or pik a better place

The front desk staff was really nice and accommodating. However, we did have to switch rooms because it had no hot water. Switched to another room and the water got hot but our sheets were dirty in BOTH rooms. Big stains, eyelashes stuck to the pillows. Never had housekeeping come to change them or give us new towels. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest and the person working the Buffett never came out from the back room. We could hear her watching a tv show.

We were without lights last night due to a storm, came here to stay. I’m spoiled and can’t sleep without AC! The only disappointment is I went down for the free breakfast this morning and there are no eggs, sausage or bacon…pans or empty. However you do have 1 danish, cream cheese, cereal, brown gravy and makers. The coffee is delicious at 8:22 AM. If you are serving breakfast until 11:00 as advertised, there is no one replenishing it.

I stay here a couple times a month and they have the nicest staff. They remember me with my service dog for my child with autism. I recently stayed and my little girl was over stimulated and was running and I figured they would call. When they called , they had great customer service and were understanding when I explained and even offered for us to move to a first floor room. I am always impressed with their customer service and that is why I stay there when i come in town.

This hotel is what you would expect for the price, but I don't think it's 9 star worthy. Maybe it's just Texas, but our room was very damp. It smelled damp and our shoes and clothes were damp from just sitting in the room. The room was surface clean, but there were boogers smeared over the headboard and on the bathroom wall that were never cleaned during our entire stay. The white bath towels were also stained. Smelled clean and felt clean, but were almost all stained. The breakfast was okay, not the best, not the worst, but if you are not there before 8:30 don't plan on many options because they never refilled things after that even though breakfast ended at 9am. On a positive note, the desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our card being charged twice and they resolved it quickly. If you are looking for an affordable hotel, this will do the job, but in my opinion it's not 9 stars or "wonderful".

The view is great, the overall staff were friendly but it only took 1 staff lady that was over the breakfast to ruin a perfectly good stay. She accused people of stealing food, caused a scene, was very rude and disrespectful to the guest. I’ve seen several complaints of her making threats and accusations towards guest on travel reviews. I don’t understand why something hasn’t been done with her. She would refuse to put out more food or juice and. It definitely wasn’t that good. I can only assume she’s lazy and just ready to go home so if you come down after she cleans up early she considers those to be an inconvenience for her. I don’t know why she was being the way she was.
