Arrived to find the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, which was really frustrating since we chose the hotel in large part for the pool and there was no advanced notification that the pool was closed.

It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bar. With a large crowd and lots of demand before and after the event at the Tyson Center, there was ONE employee taking care of the whole bar! Did you not know there was an event next door and you had a full house???

The staff was nice. The room was still dirty from the previous stay. There was a dirty spoon by the bed, a pop top by the t.V.And the desk was filthy with pizza sauce and some brown sticky substance. There was only two towels and wash clothes and one hand to towel for four guests staying in the executive king suite.

This was by far the worst hotel room we stayed at during our vacation across the country. The front desk had no attendant upon arrival other questions and I waited over 20 minutes while the phone rang constantly. Arrival to our room there was no towels, dirty floors, wallpaper ripped by the king bed, chairs in the room looked dirty and falling apart, shower curtain had black tar looking streaks. Floors next to the tub nasty in one corner there was a white finger print. The hotel hallway was dirty needing vacuumed. Breakfast was great and the court yard is beautiful, I will not be returning to this hotel. We traveled with 2 little dogs but I don't feel we should have gotten a dirty ran down room just because we had dogs.

I would not suggest this place at all! Our room was not clean had a terrible odor! The walls had some kind of fluid on them and the amount of dust and hair all over was quite ridiculous if they had people who clean the rooms. I’d post pictures if it would let me.

Room was clean, but body wash dispenser was empty. Near railroad tracks and could hear the trains, but wasn’t super loud. Front desk staff wasn’t rude but wasn’t very friendly either. Nice hotel though, reasonably priced, and I’d stay here again.

Upon entering our room, it was 80 degrees on the thermostat, our room fridge was standing open with a wad of towels hanging out of the bottom of the fridge, onto the floor. Apparently trying to defrost the freezer? we had to open a window to get it to cool down enough to go to bed which also meant listening to traffic nonstop...

The room we booked was unavailable so we were upgraded to a king with a hot tub. The room was large, and clean on the ground floor. The room did smell like it had been smoked in and it was really loud due to traffic outside the hotel. The bed was very soft and I felt every move my husband made so if you prefer a firm mattress this is not for you. The service was very good and hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, i would recommend this hotel. I would just advise you to bring earplugs for the noise.

The hotel did not reimburse pre-paid stay after I needed to leave after 2 nights. That was a loss of $600+. The manager was not nice, and quite rude. Not very strong customer service and lack of OR skills.

Everything was fine after checking in. I was very irritated that I sat in the lobby for nearly 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the desk and check me in. Between 5-6pm to leave the desk unattended is ridiculous.

Stressful!! I had booked a room with 2 double beds and when I called they said that they didnt have any rooms left with 2 double beds. So they gave my room to someone else....they wanted to give me a room with 1 bed and 1 sofa couch. Who wants to sleep on a couch?? They told me to call another hotel and see if they had rooms then they would call and get me a room. I called the other hotel and they only had 1 room left. I called Stoney Creek back to give them the information and contact person. Stoney Creek then called me and said that they really couldn't get me a room since they still had rooms available at the hotel. However, they did not have my room available. The situation was awful with horrible customer service. We have stayed several times at Stoney Creek but will not be in the future! Very stressful!!

I received a guarantee reservation stony Creek and when we arrived at the facility, they had sold our reservation to someone else. So they made it right and sent us to the Marriott Riverview in South Sioux City, Nebraska, however it was a little disheartening to be treated that way. Our family members were staying there and said they were not that impressed.

Just terrible. Called ahead early on check-in day to inform that we would be arriving just after midnight due to some delays at the airport. When we arrived, just after midnight, we were met with locked doors and nobody answering the doorbell nor the phone at the front desk,æ. After 45 frustrating minutes a person finally were able to open the doors and check us in.

We were just a few blocks from the Orphem theater, and there were several different types and price ranges of restaurants within walking distance. The location is excellent and the hotel is well taken care of and not your run of the mill hotel. We will be back.

We picked this hotel because it had a bar restaurant. We were only staying one night. The restaurant was not open, so that really put a damper on our stay

The check-in and check out process went very smoothly. The facility is well kept up and beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience. Check in was easy. Breakfast was great with a wide variety. The coffee was excellent. We ate at the SoHo which was 5 minutes away.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained the rooms were comfortable and clean. They have an outdoor area that is relaxing and a nice place to visit. Breakfast was good.

We stayed 10/2/26, Our room was nice & our fridge had a mini freezer. They didn't have the fireplace going which would've been awesome in the main room downstairs by the bar area. When we came back from the concert after 10, the pool was very full with kids in the hot tub (which should be adults only until 11 according to their sign) The next morning I saw a sign about church service which was in the far end of the building, so that was unexpected to find in a hotel, but it was a nice area for it. We ate scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits & gravy & used the slow pancake machine that gave us 2 tiny pancakes ( I'd rather have a waffle machine) Then went to use the pool & it wasn't busy but the hot tub was closed for maintenance, not sure why, but repair guy wasn't to come till noon of course, since we're checking out by 11. I did love the heated pool & being able to swim in the outside area in October too was amazing, not sure if the "waterfall" above was broke too or the plastic curtain thing was it. There was a lot of outside seating I thought around a fire pit, but no, it would be a great addition for Iowa cool nights. I'm also used to having hot chocolate at hotels & there was none, the hot water for Tea was a small container that was empty quick, but plenty of coffee choices which I don't drink. It was a bigger hotel so I understand things happen but that's the 2 things I love most so I deducted 1 star.
