This was a very lovely little inn that has had some lovely modernisation. The new bar at the rear was great. Lots of choices of drinks at very reasonable prices. The restaurant area where we had our breakfast was also very clean and modern but still retained some character and charm off an old inn. Our bedroom which was situated upstairs in the inn was very nice, clean, modern with a good size bathroom and a lovely rainfall shower. Tea and coffee facilities provided which is always a nice touch. Our only negative was that we arrived thinking we would eat lunch before checking in but the whole place is closed until check in time which is 3pm at which time the bar opens and you can check in but the restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm so we had to drive back into the little town to have lunch. We did stay in April so this may change in the summer season. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Close to main road without traffic noises. Wonderful staff and food. Bar at back of dinning room was well stocked with every scotch you could imagine. Lots of help choosing from the also very friendly locals.

A disappointingly small and dark room for the price. In my view --overpriced. Location OK, plenty of parking. Close to cafes and shops. Dinner menu good and varied. Breakfast choice more limited but service good.

Check in was a beeeze, which is located in their restaurant. The hotel messaged us about reservations so we did them thankfully because the restaurant was pretty full. The room was perfect. Beds were ok, we find most of the beds in Europe are thin. We didn’t locate a lift to bring our luggage up so we had to carry it. Restaurant food was good. We had breakfast as part of our stay which was very good. No complaints.

Easy and welcoming check in. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. We knew in advance that the room was on the smaller side but was nonetheless more than adequate for our needs. The en-suite shower room was a good size with quality soaps and towels provided. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was superb - lots of choice and delicious. All of the staff that we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. We will look forward to staying here again in the future when the opportunity arises. Excellent!

We stayed one night whilst walking the Great Glen Way. The room we had was ideal. Very clean, quiet and everything worked well. Tunnocks caramel wafers were a nice touch. We also ate dinner end breakfast and the food quality was very high. We were especially impressed by the quality of all of the waiting and bar staff.

Very nice hotel, great location to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Hotel Restaurant was excellent too. Nice convenient location, clean, great expedient customer service. Would stay at this hotel again in the future.

We had a great welcome. Very happy with our room. Comfortable and quiet. Not a lot of dining options so reservations are recommended unless you want some yummy pizza. It’s close by and was so tasty! Breakfast at the Inn was excellent. Many great options. We’re loved that the inn was only a 5 minute drive from the Urquhart Castle.

We enjoyed our quick stay and appreciate the included breakfast. The room was small and walls are thin but overall it is a good rest spot from our way back from Skye. Inverness downtown is half an hour drive from the hotel. All the staff members we spoke to were all very polite and courteous. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a quick stay as there is not a lot to do in the area.

The Loch Ness Inn was a wonderful overnight stay before heading up the NC500. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The restaurant had excellent food. Would highly recommend staying here on your travels.

Room was clean and comfortable. Food was great for dinner. The staff were really pleasant. A bit limited for breakfast. Constantly had to ask for milk for the cereals in a morning. They bring out a small jug for the whole restaurant. We never got wifi in the bedroom. They just said it was BT’s fault although it worked elsewhere in the hotel. Don’t think we will be returning.

Very small rooms and bed. Our room was above the dining m and was very noisy until it closed at 10:00. Every time the kitchen door was opened to the dining room, it banged shut and you could hear it in the room. Location was good

We loved our stay here! We had a family quad (7/8) with 2 bedrooms and a lovely bathroom. The beds were cozy and we slept very well. The shower was FANTASTIC! The dinner menu is good and our meals were delicious. The staff are terrific - they are warm and welcoming and really helped us when we left an expensive electronic device behind and needed help have it shipped to our next hotel. Looking for Nessie? This is the place to stay!

The Loch Ness inn was really amazing for our short stay in Drumnadochit! The free breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever had at any stay and the rooms were cute and comfortable! Would also like to give a big thanks to Oscar, who carried my friends luggage up the stairs and made sure that we were comfortable with our accommodation and overall just went above and beyond!

The Loch Ness inn was really amazing for our short stay in Drumnadochit! The free breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever had at any stay and the rooms were cute and comfortable! We had a great welcome. Very happy with our room. Comfortable and quiet. Not a lot of dining options so reservations are recommended unless you want some yummy pizza. It’s close by and was so tasty! Breakfast at the Inn was excellent. Many great options. We’re loved that the inn was only a 5 minute drive from the Urquhart Castle.

We stayed two nights while walking the Great Glen Way. We loved our room and bathroom, very comfortable, and the fact that we could open the window. Very quiet. Great food for breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness. Would very happily return again.

Very nice hotel, great location to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Hotel Restaurant was excellent too. Nice convenient location, clean, great expedient customer service. Would stay at this hotel again in the future.

One night stay. Excellent breakfast. Room is small relative to pics. NO ELEVATOR if carrying heavy luggage. Is a bit outside town so car a must. Can’t walk to restaurants(5 minutes drive).

The Loch Ness Inn was a lovely and cozy place to stay while we were in the Highlands. The restaurant is world class! The food there is absolutely delicious! The location was great for exploring the local environment: the Loch Ness Centre, the castle ruins, and hiking trails to waterfalls and Craig are all within walking distance.

Beautifully located Inn. Bedroom was comfortable, clean and quiet. Lovely comfy bed and bathroom with rainfall shower. The restaurant onsite is superb. Freshly cooked local products. Extensive wine list with a range of spirit options, including local spirits.

The staff at this property are really friendly. The bar is wonderful and the breakfast was equally good. The room was well suited to our family of 4. Everything was clean. We would stay here again.

This hotel had lots of charm and was a convenient stop for our stay in Inverness. The food in the restaurant was delicious and artfully presented, and the pub was a great place for a nightcap. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this property for future travelers.

Room was clean and comfortable. Food was great for dinner. The staff were really pleasant. A bit limited for breakfast. Constantly had to ask for milk for the cereals in a morning. They bring out a small jug for the whole restaurant. We never got wifi in the bedroom. They just said it was BT’s fault although it worked elsewhere in the hotel. Don’t think we will be returning.

Check in was a beeeze, which is located in their restaurant. The hotel messaged us about reservations so we did them thankfully because the restaurant was pretty full. The room was perfect. Beds were ok, we find most of the beds in Europe are thin. We didn’t locate a lift to bring our luggage up so we had to carry it. Restaurant food was good. We had breakfast as part of our stay which was very good. No complaints.

Excellent stay at The Loch Ness Inn. We were staying at 8 different locations during our tour of Scotland and this inn stood out as by far the best for accommodation and food. It was welcome to see that all the small details were looked after, enabling the room to be very well presented. All three courses of the evening meal were delicious and who knew porridge could taste that good for breakfast!

I loved this inn, we stayed for 3 days, everyone who worked there was very nice, the breakfast was delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the fish and chips was amazing. Very clean and close to activities in the area

We were there only one night between Ullapool and Glasgow and the scenery is beautiful. Maybe just a little bit noisy because there's a bar right outside but apart of that it was lovely.

Very welcoming, professional and friendly staff working in a lovely place. The food is outstanding. Accommodation is immaculate and very comfortable. A great stop over whilst I was doing the great glen way and it is on the route so ideal location for the walk. Also great for visiting Urquhart castle and all things Nessie and Loch Ness. 5 stars. (I stayed in the bunkhouse which was fantastic so I can only imagine what the rooms are like) would go again.
