HOLIDAY INN LONDON - HEATHROW T5

Well located for Terminal 5. Underground parking available at £15 per day. Spacious room. Great shower. Nice firm bed. Unfortunately, only one thin pillow per person (no spares in room), which resulted in a bad night’s sleep and a stiff neck.

Had to go back to reception as only one towel in the room. Staff very unfriendly. Was upset to be charged £15 to park our car as no mention of this when we booked. The ad said parking available and we assumed we could just park. No mention of any charges until we checked in. Had we known we would not have booked this hotel.

The room was stuffy and hot. The AC in the room did not work. They charged 15 GBP for parking and other hotels in the area do not.

Hotel was undergoing renovations and lacked several of its normally available amenities: bar and restaurant. Parking was more expensive than I expected but public transit i nto London was very good and very convenient. Staff were efficient and helpful.

The hotel was undergoing refurbishments and only part of it was open. No restaurant or bar service. Took over 15 minutes to check in, z-bed was unacceptable for an adult to sleep on, & hairdryer didn’t work.

Very good value for money - a bit of a hidden gem. Very close to Terminal 5 has own car park. Definitely would go back if need to stay at Heathrow again.

Its was £15 a night to park in their car park otherwise not a bad nights stay before our holiday

Stayed here so we could be close to Heathrow airport for an early morning flight. Location was perfect and was so easy to reach the airport in around 10 minutes, although it was very little traffic, still great. The rooms were very clean and cosy and beds very comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. Car park had plenty of spaces and was easy to get into hotel from and cost £15 a night. We only stayed for one night but the short time we stayed there we couldn’t fault. Will definitely use this hotel in the future for early morning flights.

Third time I have stayed in this hotel first time lift not working correctly second time no heating and today no hot water

Evening food menu was limited as only a couple of dishes available Shower in morning was a bit challenging, no hot water despite numerous turns of both knobs. However bath tap did have hot water so must have separate feed or shower tap was faulty. Reported to staff and they said they would get straight onto it. Would definitely stay here again or at any of their hotels. All round good stay. Thanks

Brand new, immaculately clean hotel, with spacious rooms conveniently located near Heathrow. Other than that, hard no! They lock the room thermostats at 18°C (64°F) and there is virtually NO hot water as that is strictly regulated, as well. In order to get a lukewarm, barely tepid shower, you can't turn the cold on for more than a trickle, so I could not wash my hair. I was freezing anyway so it didn't matter. They did give us space heaters and other people had them, too so it's obviously a known issue, which is the opposite of eco-friendly. Fire alarms went off for 5 solid min at 12:30am and since the rooms have no phones, you can't call to see what's going on. Everything we needed, we had to go down to the lobby for. We had two rooms. My room had a somewhat working thermostat, but the thermostat in my friend's room wouldn't turn on. She was missing the latch on the back of her door to lock it with the swing bar. Beds are comfy but pillows thin and flat. No amenities to speak of other than a 3-in-1 pump in the shower. Such a shame because the place is brand new and very clean, but the corner-cutting is so bad and the rooms and hotel so frigid, that comfort was nowhere to be found. I slept in my robe. Hotels.com reached out to them after the heat/hot water issue, & the fire alarms going off. We were given a refund for the remainder of our stay & after 2 days, checked into another hotel, saving our first international travel from complete & utter disappointment.

The staff member on arrival was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was undergoing construction whilst we stayed. Though this did not cause any noise it was an inconvenience as the stairwell was taped up and wet paint signs were everywhere. One of the lifts was faulty and had no out of order sign. The bathroom, in particular the toilet was not very clean on arrival. The bedroom area was fine.

The room was smelly. Old carpet smell. No AC and my husband was sweating, nothing but industrial neighborhood. They charged 15 pound for car parking overnight.

super convenient for a stop over before an early morning flight from Heathrow. a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a large bathtub (always a plus for me). for the price I wasn’t expecting anything more than just about bearable for an overnight stay, but I was impressed. will use again in a similar situation.

Good option 5 mins drive from Heathrow. Parking was availalb,e but I parked on the street 2 mins away. There is apub right across the street that does Thai food.THe sound insulation is excellent, I did not hear a thing, even though it's right under the flightpath.

Easy access to Terminal 5 Heathrow. The hotel has recently been refurbished. Excellent room and friendly staff . Although very close to the airport traffic, the rooms were well insulated from outside noise. Would recommend stay at this hotel.

Excellent pre flight hotel. Good soundproof windows

The ONLY negative of this place is the mattress. It was as if I was sleeping on the floor and I prefer firm mattresses. Everything else was perfect. I just couldn’t believe the mattress or maybe lack of there off.

The hotel is clean but the beds are rock hard and only 1 pillow which is very flat.

Very good service from reception staff. Good sized room, firm and comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. It was really quiet at night. A great hotel to stay for a night after a 40 hour journey from Australia to the UK. Plenty of clean towels. Hairdryer, ironing board and iron in the room. Great sized bathroom nicely fitted out and with both a tub and shower. Complimentary toiletries. I would recommend this for a stay either before or after a flight from Heathrow Airport.

The staff was so accommodating. I will definitely stay here again on my next layover in London.

Cleaner walked past room after first attempt to clean was interrupted by us being there, no further attempts were made.

I don’t know if he was new but the receptionist didn’t seem to know how to check anyone in so it took 25 mins to check the woman in front of me (& several phone calls) then another 20 mins to check me in.

This is a very good hotel, Staff are fantastic! Every single member of the team are Very professional and welcoming. I have stayed in many different hotels this year & all have problems. This is the only one I have visited and had zero issues with & for a new hotel currently going through a refurbishment that’s very reassuring. The manager Janine is fantastic. She knows how to run a hotel the correct way. Her level of professionalism and commitment is outstanding. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Situated perfectly near the airport ( leaving from terminal 5 ) and grabbing the bus (only two stops away) ! Would definitely recommend

Convenient to take the bus between hotel & Terminal 5, then train to downtown London.

A nice, friendly and very reasonably priced hotel conveniently close to LHR. Well served by an inexpensive bus line, 703, which stops right in front of hotel and goes to/from T5. May improve address/directions to property, which has no street number, by adding the closest crossroad, Poyle Road. This is also the bus stop name.

Close to Heathrow by bus, and surprisingly didn’t hear the planes flying over. Great spot for the short trip to the airport.

The room was spacious, nicely furnished, it would have been a good idea to use the space under the TV for a fridge. For potential customers, do not try to find the hotel on google maps just by putting the name of the hotel, as it -might- will lead you to Hilton Hotel which is approximately 1km away I confirmed with the concierge that there is this issue with google maps and a lot of people are facing this issue. So, try to find by using the address.

I stay for 3 nights. Very nice stay. Pros are that it is convenient, close to city centre, easy to get to the airport. Hotel is newly renovated and rooms are clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. Overall feeling is comfortable. Cons are that breakfast is £12 extra, parking £15 a day, and there is no dining. You have to rely on the Italian or Thai restaurants in the opposite of the road which are not cheap. There is air-con in the room but is central controlled. I felt a bit cold in the first night. If you don't mind that it is a little bit expensive, it is a good choice. After all, it is one of the cheapest among the available selection of hotels in the list.

The hotel was good value for money, clean and well maintained. There was limited food options within walking distance, daytime cafe for breakfast or lunch and a pub across the street that served Thai food. Just double check the location and address because both the Hotels.com app and Google maps sent me to the Hilton about one kilometre away which is where my Uber dropped me. So it cost me a second Uber and wasted time.

It was amazing. Excellent reception though ongoing renovation of the facility. Important they have a functional restaurant. Very neat hotel and meets my need. Hope to be back.

Hotel was undergoing a renovation, however my room was already renovated and was very clean. I am gluten free, no g/f food was available for breakfast. I went out for breakfast and dinner. Front desk ck in/out was good, the lady put my suitcase on the bus when I left. Thank you to her for that.

It’s a lovely stay overall. It’s slightly tricky to follow sat-nav from the terminal but okay. Handy location, good breakfast; nice & clean. Very friendly service. Just no kettle in rooms.

The Colnbrook B&B appears to be a new hotel and the room was quite big and comfortable. However, I skipped the breakfast as the only hot food available were sausages and baked beans - no eggs, bacon, tomatoes, hash browns etc. just sausages! When I asked the staff, including at the front desk, they just shrugged and gave no explanation!

Overall good value for money. Wasn't happy though with items served & quality of hot breakfasts. Kitchen & reception staff very friendly - but had to multi-task.
