Coogee House - footsteps from the Beach!

Absolutely loved this place! Great location, very spacious & comfortable, safe & well equipped. Property management was very responsive to any of our concerns. We stayed for a week, without a car & we’re able to explore Coogee & surrounding areas easily. Super easy to get to the beach, shops & restaurants in town. Short bus ride to downtown Sydney as well. If you are missing your pet/dog, go to the little coffee shop (Solar Cafe) on the 1st floor and you can snuggle with the shop dog, Trigger. Solar cafe also makes the best coffee in town! Would 100% stay here again!

Location was convenient. The building was not in good condition. The ceiling in the stairwell was leaking and plaster was falling. The inside was also very worn. The bathroom is not in good condition. The sink is cracked and we found cockroaches in the bathroom. According to reviews........it sounds like the "deck project" has been under construction since 2024. It was "tentatively" scheduled to be done this March. Nothing was done at all. This is false advertisement. The place was so bad that we actually had to find another place and moved out half way through our stay. We would have left sooner but I could not get assistance from VRBO. I would not recommend staying here.

Clean, nicely appointed place. Fantastic location a couple of blocks from the beach but still on a quiet street. 3rd floor walkup and the balcony was under repair and couldn't be used while we were there, but I would definitely stay there again.
