If you are looking for a budget friendly motel, this property was good. It's an older motel but my room had been updated and had both a microwave and refrigerator. The room was clean and the bathroom was adequate. I would stay here again.

Only stayed here because it was the only location where I could get a room even close to State College. Motel is old and the rooms overpriced (>$300/night). Room was dirty. Glad we only slept here for a few hours. Arrived late (1:30 AM and left a few hours later (~8AM)

Got there for our weekend getaway rooms are very outdated and musty smelling no ice machine and asking someone for something like extra pillows and toilet paper was like we were bothering them needless to say we weren't allowed to have extra pillows. Staff was helpful. Area was quiet and great location. Parking was awesome and convenient. It’s an older place and there were many signs of age. It also was not as clean as it should have been. We found the bedroom and bathroom to be too dirty to stay. We walked in looked the place over and decided we wouldn’t feel comfortable sleep there. The pillowcases were dirty. The tub had hair all over it. The tub floor was dirty. The dirt hand prints on the bathroom door were also unpleasant.

We arrived at night and area appears dicey scary Motel is like rent for an hour use Family was very unsettled staying there And we were all adults No wonder a sign is posted NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY CHECK OUT No smoking room smelt of smoke Bathtub had two bugs Place needs renovating Was totally ripped off with the price It should b max $59 a night not $300 Couldn’t wait to sleep and get out sorry for review but need to be honest THE PLACE NEEDS RENOVATIONS

I stayed for 11 pm to 7 am only one night at budget Inn and woke up with spots all over my face and body BED BUGS .When I called the Motel to complain they asked my why I wait to tell them this was an issue.I called less than 24hrs after checking out .They were rude I would not suggest staying there.

I didnt really expect much for the price of $73 but the overwhelming smell of air fresheners covered mildew didn'th help. There was a web of bugs at the main office outside of the door and plenty of little flying things in my room

Where do I start, first off the "staff" who live on site are not friendly and acted as if I bothered them during check in and check out. The room, was straight out of a horror scene. The sheets were note clean, the entire room was filthy, and the furniture is recycled from other hotels. Every thing had other hotels branding on it. The shower was disgusting and did not appear to have been cleaned in several weeks. There was still hair from previous guest on the walls of the shower. None of the outlets worked except the power strip that had the TV, Cable Box, minifridge, and clock plugged into it. The heat/ac unit barely controlled the temperature in the room and looked and ran like it was on its last leg. While I did not expect the room to be 5 star this clearly was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Would not stay at or recommend anyone staying there. Luckily I was only there one night and if it wasn't so late when I got there I would have left and gone someplace else.

This is very much an hotel for those on a very limited budget. Things that didn't work: 1. TV cable signal didn't work. 2. The phone in the room didn't work. 3. Even though advertised, I have no wifi signal in my room. I used my vehicle wifi as a substitute, but had to sit outside to get that signal. 4. It's the first hotel I've been in, (and I've been in a lot), that did not have Kleenex available in the room. The young woman running the hotel admitted she was new to the job. She was very friendly, and was able to offer me some restaurant suggestions when I arrived.

An older motel, however the room pictures are accurate and the room was clean. The bathroom tub and sink in the bathroom didn't drain well. My main warning is on the level of noise - from the A/C and refrigerator inside the room and the noise from the road and railroad trains passing in the night.

Motel is in poor condition, WiFi advertised was so poor could not use tablet to watch apps. When I asked about the poor internet service he showed me his phone and said look I'm connected. When trying to check out the language barrier was so bad it took me 15 minutes to get a receipt.

Went away for 3 hours and left the AC on to cool room. When I returned the room was warm and the AC not cooling. Went to office but no one answered the bell. Needed a new room with AC that works.

It was your typical cheaper hotel. Really old AC/heat system. I did like the single floor so I can drive my truck up next to my room to offload any luggage. They had good water pressure. There were some random ants and flies in the room. Some paint and such missing off the walls. Most comfortable pillows Ive had in while. Something firm and not paper thin. The fridge didnt cool or freeze much, but better than not having one at all I guess. I had expected room service to come in and redo my bed sheets and give me fresh towels while I was gone for the day time but that did not happen. Also did not find any wifi password.

I arrive at the budget in told the girl i had reservation she had to get someone to check me in. Then i found a bug on the bed i had to check the bed to make sure there wasnt anymore . Called ask for an extra pillow . They told me they didnt have any extra pillow. I have family member that worked in hotel/ motels they shouldve had extra . I WILl NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

We came in very late, we waited at the desk and rang the bell several times and woke up the attendant. After thinking we paid on Expedia, we had to pay for the hotel upon arrival. Then, we have this scary room from a horror film with a pink bathtub from the 70's where stopper doesn't work and the water from the shower doesn't come straight, but flies out of the shower making the floor a wet, slippery, unsafe environment. Then, we woke up the attendant again in the morning when we were leaving after ringing the bell multiple times and couldn't even get an itemized receipt - only the credit card receipt I received the night before. It was an expensive night for a few hours and outside of the bathroom, we may as well have saved the money and slept in our car!

It was 9am and my door was opened and a staff member walked in my room without knocking and seen myself and my husband completely nude of the bed and the hotel didn't do anything about it but say sorry no compensation or anything for violating my personal privacy

Well to start check in time was 2pm. I arrive at 4pm and I was told ten minutes to clean the room. Twenty minutes later they give me the key and said it is all ready. I go to the room they were still cleaning it. I had a event I needed to be at so I just left my stuff in the room and left. Come back later my stuff was still there so that is a positive. The room smelled and was no where clean. Yes the place is old and needs some major renovations. But you can atleast make sure it is clean and smells half way decent. All it takes a little elbow grease. For the cost it was terrible. Only thing convenient was location.

Look Folks. We stayed there one night after a Penn State football game. It's about 44 miles from State College but the only thing available. At first concerned about the bad reviews but honestly it was clean, quiet, beds were sufficiently comfortable. Bathroom clean and good enough. Overpriced due to huge game in town. Not for long term stays. Guys, not an issue. Ladies, will complain. Overall it served its purpose.

An older motel, however the room pictures are accurate and the room was clean. The bathroom tub and sink in the bathroom didn't drain well. My main warning is on the level of noise - from the A/C and refrigerator inside the room and the noise from the road and railroad trains passing in the night.

We arrived at night and area appears dicey scary Motel is like rent for an hour use Family was very unsettled staying there And we were all adults No wonder a sign is posted NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY CHECK OUT No smoking room smelt of smoke Bathtub had two bugs Place needs renovating Was totally ripped off with the price It should b max $59 a night not $300 Couldn’t wait to sleep and get out sorry for review but need to be honest THE PLACE NEEDS RENOVATIONS

The hotel serves its purpose as relief from driving into the wee hours of the morning to get home after late PSU games. Port in a storm so to speak. Otherwise you wouldn’t choose to stay here.

Well to start check in time was 2pm. I arrive at 4pm and I was told ten minutes to clean the room. Twenty minutes later they give me the key and said it is all ready. I go to the room they were still cleaning it. I had a event I needed to be at so I just left my stuff in the room and left. Come back later my stuff was still there so that is a positive. The room smelled and was no where clean. Yes the place is old and needs some major renovations. But you can atleast make sure it is clean and smells half way decent. All it takes a little elbow grease. For the cost it was terrible. Only thing convenient was location.

Staff was helpful. Area was quiet and great location. Parking was awesome and convenient. It’s an older place and there were many signs of age. It also was not as clean as it should have been. Overall, was good. It was sufficient. If you are looking for luxury or new. Not the place. Staff was super nice

Gross. Deserves zero. Reeked of stale smoke, butt can outside door, micro and tv didnt work. Moved me yo another room with remote not working. Gross threadbare blanket, grungy furnishings and heafs up, no coffee!

I have traveled a lot and have stayed in the wonderful, good, bad and ugly. This was bad and ugly. First the key to my room never worked right. Also, the WIFI never worked which is I assume why the guy at the desk didn’t want to give me the password. The air conditioning made a horrible loud thrumming thumping noise that would not stop unless you turned it down and if you did that the room got very warm so you either had to put up with the noise or be hot. Also the A/C unit was very dirty with insulation hanging out around the edges and so high up I had to stand on a chair to reach the controls. The beds seemed to be newer, but the blanket had holes and stains. The sink had no drain stopper and the screen in the drain in the shower was not fastened down and was not even in the drain when I got there. One of complimentary shampoos was obviously used by another guest as it was only about a third full. There was some kind of brown stain on the toilet seat lid which I didn’t want to think about what it might be. The vanity area was very dirty as was the fan in the bathroom. I realize this is a “budget” motel but this was horrible. Budget or not, at a minimum I expect the property to be clean and better maintained. Stay somewhere else.
