Moon River is located downtown. There is a café on the corner that serves the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. The owner was amazing and we had communal breakfast every day at 8:30. This gave us an opportunity to swap stories and adventures and plan our next day in Maysville. I would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed our time at Moon River as it was downtown and we parked and walked everywhere. Close to a cafe, just down from Visitor’s Center, with best fried green tomatoes I ever had. All guests had a great communal breakfast at 8:30 where guests shared their adventures in Maysville which gave us things to do and restaurants we would have never come up with on our own. I will be back

This was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Maysville. I thought it was very comfortable and the breakfast was first rate! There are downstairs (first floor) rooms, but mine was on the top floor and no elevator. So please note if you have mobility issues. I parked on the street so I don’t know what other options are available. Lovely place and historic property.

Denny was a wonderful host! I stayed on the third floor in the Derby Room. It was perfectly charming! Everthing I needed for a solo one night getaway. Perfectly located to enjoy a leisurely walk around downtdown Maysville. Fantastic eateries and pubs just footsteps away from the front door. Denny was very knowledgeable about the local fare and offered many suggestions.The next time I need to take a step back in time and enjoy the company of the lovely people of Maysville, I will definitely book more than just one night!
