Parking is very bad, staff aren’t professional

During a short trip with family to Alexandria City, we selected plaza hotel to book 3 rooms for 2 nights. The Hotel location is good and there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms are small but clean and comfort with side sea view. Breakfast is just Okay with limited varieties. Car Parking is 50 meters away from the hotel in the same street with almost EGP35 per night. Staff are friendly and helpful. The overall stay was very good and we will book the hotel again for our future short trips to Alexandria.

I like everything in Plaza hotel it's clean, near for shopping mall, nice view and friendly staff specially Mrs.Nermin. I will like to stay here next time.

The worst experience ever. They completely ruined my vacation. Hours wasted standing at the front desk because these people are frauds. No wifi. Beds as hard a rock and we never could get a decent nights rest. There is no sound insulation so you hear everything next to you and on the street. Everything smells like an ashtray. We felt sick and gross the whole time because it is unclean. Staff was hostile, aggressive, and blatantly lied. They entered our room when the do not disturb sign was up. They harassed us and called our room in the middle of the night but would hang up. They essentially tried to make us so miserable that we had no choice but to leave early. They promised to issue a refund. That is why I checked out early and why they gave me a receipt for the amount to be refunded. That was the agreement but as soon as we left they changed their story. I have physical proof they would issue a refund but once we checked out they lied to Expedia. They lied to me, tried to charge me extra, bullied me, made us feel completely uncomfortable during our time there. The whole time they were telling me that they wanted to offer me a refund but that Expedia would not allow them to do so. They have been lying the whole time. They have lies listed amongst their amenities. They are not to be trusted. The manager hid for hours whenI went back to check on my refund. Expedia should drop them. Also the food is disgusting. We ate there after check in and got sick.

Air conditioning was very dirty, hasn’t cleaned for years, blowing high level air with cigarette smoke strong smell.

Hotel avec emplacements magnifique, mais reste bruyant pas de vitres d'isolation, pour kes personnes sensibles a eviter car le bruit des voitures est juste insupportable

Very nice! View on the oceanside is great. Only problem is the wifi, but otherwise I recommend the hotel for sure if you need to be in Alexandria. The city itself is in pretty bad shape though imo.

I paid over 120 dollars a night for this hotel, that is really bad for a property in Egypt that is not even worth 3 stars. It's rated as 5 stars and tried to apply the no guests rule to visitors. After check I was given a second floor room which I had to immediately change because of the proximity to the street and noise. The facilities are old and deceiving. It was clean which was the only good thing. After a hassle at the front desk I was offered a complimentary fruit plate which acknowledged their fault. The hotel photo shows the Four Seasons building façade on the website which makes you think that this is the hotel that you will be staying until you realize it's the four seasons and not the Plaza hôtel. I won't recommend staying.

This hotel was one of the best experiments ever ... i was in suit sea view very larg room amazing view unbelievable location so close to every thig its totally amazing but furniture is too old mattresses so hard

This hotel was just an average experience. The staff and service was above and beyond, however the WiFi was horrible. They had multiple networks and would randomly stop working and would ask you to sign in every time. The AC was barely working as well. The door to the balcony didn’t close properly and would let out whatever air the AC managed to cool. The lobby and the hallways were hot and humid. The water pressure however was great compared to other hotels in Egypt. The best part about the hotel was the location.

Exceptional location and very wide sea view especially with the suite rooms. Got it for a very cheap reasonable price. Turn on the heater/AC and it will block the car noises. Will likely stay here again. Very pleasant receptionist on the morning and evening shifts.

This hotel was okay overall. Nice accommodation, good location, good food. Safe. I really like some of the people working in the cafeteria, their genuine kindness was the highlight of my stay. A few drawbacks unfortunately include: not getting all my laundry back, a persistent love offer that made me uncomfortable, and evil eye from some of the staff despite me just keeping to myself.

GREAT place to stay in Alexandria. The Plaza Hotel offers beautiful views of the sea, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and Gleem Bay is walkable. Overall, I had a lovely, comfortable stay here and would return.

Le personnel est très sympa! Je n’ai pas eu une chambre vue mer mais juste partielle comme j’avais réservé. Le matelas pas confortable. Salle de bain juste juste . Trop de bruit des voitures mauvaise isolation 😞. J’ai demandé un petit déjeuner tôt mais il voulait me charger alors mon petit déjeuner été compris dans la réservation😱 donc je ne l’ai pas pris!
