The swimming pool room and pool were quite cold and dirty. Mold. The hallway walking down to the swimming pool smelled like a box of mushrooms and radishes. We found a cockroach in our bathroom!! Online photos look great. What little staff we interacted with were nice but, I would not stay here again.

Check in was smooth. Breakfast was simple but they had yogurt, bagels, pastries and fruit. Location was comfort were good. Enjoyed the pool and fire pit in the evening.

Good location, walkable, nice indoor pool, affordable, pretty courtyard with fire pit. Rooms clean and comfortable with frig and microwave. could use update. No batteries in the alarm clock and no info in rooms about hotel rules. Breakfast is JUST grab and go good for snacks,,only packaged items and was poorly stocked. Staff did get items when asked though. No cleaning staff on a Tues night. Overall pleasant stay and would stay again, but maybe only on weekday. Would have been way overpriced on weekend for what it was.

Great accommodations with comfy room and spacious bath/dressing area. Parking outside your door but without that "motel" feel. Nice indoor pool and outdoor fire pit areas, decent breakfast offerings and friendly staff. Only minor negative was lack of housekeeping service over the 4 days/3 nights we were there. Will return!

Rockport Inn and Suites was a perfect selection for our four night visit to the area. The location was very convenient and the hotel lived up to expectations. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool which was nicely maintained and the outdoor seating area with fire pit.

We were looking forward to using the pool during our stay but we’re not comfortable swimming in it. It was not clean, a lot of debris sand or something in the bottom and stuff floating on the surface for multiple days.

Condition of the hotel has gone downhill in the past few years. I have stayed there MANY times in the past thirty years or so, but I was disappointed in this stay. The room had hair and debris in the bathtub, and nooks and crannies in various places in the room. The rooms are now very basic, no table or chairs, just a small desk with an office chair. There is a HUGE empty space where the table and chairs used to be. There is also no longer any daily housekeeping for a multiple night stay, something I consider a necessity! I was also disappointed to find that they had filled in the jacuzzi by the pool! That was one of the main attractions to this hotel over the others in the area!!

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the cleanliness of the facility and a nice clean smell (not chemical smell) both in the lobby and in the room. The bathroom was immaculate (I am very picky). Bedding was nice and bed was comfortable. Overall, highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

Old and tired. Needs a do over. My ceiling in the bathroom was stained and had a Kleenex tissue stuffed into a hole near the shower pipe. Don’t think tiled area was vaccuumed, found a used bandaid stuck to the bottom of my slipper. Yuck! Room was so dark with dark carpet, navy blue walls and tired old furniture I thought it was nighttime all day. This used to be a vibrant motel years ago. If it can’t be kept up sell it!!! Rockport needs another motel but not in this condition. Even the whiskey barrel planters outside the room doors had last summer’s dried up dead flowers in them! Is this now A PATEL HOTEL????? Makes me wonder!!! It’s sad to see it in this condition

There was rust in the bathroom on the shelves, the tub was very stained, the breakfast was only bagels and muffins , no hot food. Lack of evening staff , water was cold for showers heat wasn’t consistent in the shower.

Hotel is cute, area is nice and convenient especially since it's on Main Street. However it was dirty, I had ants in my bathroom, my toilet had skid marks in the bowl, and the bathtub was fairly dirty. I had to clean the tub several times before I felt comfortable to take a shower. Other than that the hotel was nice enough.

We stayed 4 nights. The first night I spotted a roach (I took a picture of it and googled it) in the bed so I emailed the front desk (from their website) and did not receive a response. The next morning my partner woke up with bed bug bites. We tore the sheets off and did not find any live bugs, but did find evidence of bed bugs. We went up front and the staff were very accommodating. They inspected and said it wasn’t bed bugs but still moved us to a different suite. They were very nice and compassionate and I could tell they truly wanted to assist. I would not stay again though. Now we have to make sure to treat all of our clothes and bags before taking them home

The room was so dirty. Carpets were filthy, tub was falling apart. Spiders. My kids found candy wrappers in their bed. The main lodge was nice, maybe some of the other buildings are better than where we ended up. Breakfast was bagels/hard-boiled eggs/oatmeal packets/cereal.

I understand that it's not necessary for housekeeping to clean rooms daily, but not having any type of cleaning, i.e. picking up trash for 4 days is a bit ridiculous.

Overall, our stay here was nice. The room was clean, but a bit more basic than expected based on the photos in the listing. It did have a microwave and mini fridge, which was appreciated as many hotels do not have these amenities anymore. The one real issue we had was with the Wi-Fi. The login info was provided, but it didn’t quite reach our room and we only had about one or two bars the entire time we were there and due to the location of the hotel we did not have great cell phone reception. The area is beautiful though, and the outdoor seating area was very comfortable. The pool does get taken over by lots of children, if you’re hoping for a relaxing swim. One other thing that was not an issue for us, but could be for people with mobility issues is that it was a pretty high step up to get into our room from the sidewalk. I do believe there are more easily accessible rooms, though in the main building.

Hotel is in a great location and the staff is very nice. The room was a bit dated though and the layout of the bath and dressing area is a tad awkward. The pool and outdoor fire pit area looks great but we did not have the opportunity to use either. Continental breakfast was good but nothing special.

Their front staff were annoyed when I asked to have our room cleaned. They should come and clean the rooms every few days, we were there a week. They didn't provide enough of anything for our room for a whole week. The rooms were not that great for what we paid for. The Bathroom was in terrible condition. I also thought we were staying in the main hotel and instead put in this motel style room outside the main building. The breakfast was terrible. They were out of coffee every day, and the staff were just standing around, not attending the breakfast bar. The food was never restocked either. It seemed like supporting the guests was an inconvenience. I have never stayed at such a terrible place with terrible hospitality. I don't recommend this place.

We checked out on Saturday, August 23rd at approximately 8:40 AM (Room 119) and the Clerk (white female, approximately in her 30’s) at the front desk was very unpleasant. No smile and acted like a bug just flew up her ass. At this time I told her that the shower/tub floor in the bathroom was very slippery and dangerous, that someone could fall and hurt themselves. Literally no reaction from her upon saying this and obviously could care less. This was very very disappointing as someone could literally kill or seriously hurt themselves if they fell in the tub.

Amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had a microwave and frig that was an unexpected bonus. Immaculately manicured landscaping and grounds. Say yes to staying here!

We had a wonderful stay here and I absolutely loved the beautiful lobby area. What could have been a major problem for us turned out fine. When we got there, there had been a mistake made by the front desk and they had mixed up our reservation with someone else’s and given our room to them! The young man working the front desk (he didn’t make the mistake) did everything he needed to do to make sure we had a room just like we had reserved. I appreciated that he made every effort to fix the mistake that was made! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in this area. They also have a laundry facility, which came in handy for us after traveling for over a week.

Not very close to town 20+ minute walk. The hotel itself is very pretty. Most of the staff was great. The young lady who checked us in was more interested in her phone than assisting us. First time for us so we asked questions and she just shrugged her shoulders. All the rest of the staff was great.

Rockport Inn and Suites was a perfect selection for our four night visit to the area. The location was very convenient and the hotel lived up to expectations. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool which was nicely maintained and the outdoor seating area with fire pit.

We had a great stay at the Rockport Inn and Suites. I would absolutely stay there again. Rockport is the most beautiful town and this hotel is a couple minutes down the road from Bearskin Neck. Shopping, views, restaurants, art galleries, ocean front, and so much more. Our hotel room was cozy and the staff was accommodating. We will stay again next time we travel to Rockport!

I usually stay at chain hotels but this one surpassed my expectations. Staff was friendly, rooms clean. Hotel was a cute nautical theme. We spent evenings in their courtyard by the fire. Very quiet and cozy. The shopping/restaurant area is less than a mile away. Very convenient. There is also free public transportation. A stop is right across the street. We stayed 3 nights. Wish we would have stayed longer.

Convenient base for driving to Rockport and Gloucester. Room was acceptable, housekeeping only comes if requested. Breakfast was non-memorable but adequate. Fire pit was a lovely way to spend the evening. Good parking.

Lovely inn just on outskirts of Rockport although it’s not too far a walk into town. Probably needs just a little update on decor however the inn is tidy and clean and staff helpful.

Property was comparable to a Comfort Inn or Best Western as far as the quality of the room and property, but the included breakfast was sub-par: There were no hot options for food unless you consider making your own toast and hot water or coffee. There were yogurts and oatmeal packets available; I really can’t give much detail because I gave only a cursory look around. HOWEVER, down the street a few yards was a very small takeout place, called the Lattoff Farmhouse Kitchen, that had a quaint, tasty, and reasonably priced breakfast menu. We ordered and took our food and drinks to go, then ate at a table in the Rockport Inn’s eating area. When it came time to check out there was no one at the desk and I stood several minutes waiting to be noticed by someone in the office who was looking at a computer screen. She finally approached and said “there are two people here”, referring to the absent desk staff, and then proceeded to say I could just leave the room key if I didn’t want a receipt. I didn’t use or look at the fitness room, so cannot speak to that, but I believe there was one below the office.

Breakfast was very basic, packages of hot oatmeal, packages of pastries, cold cereal, bagels with bagels, English muffins with butter and orange marmalade, Fruit included apples and bananas. Hard boiled eggs were also available on Saturday. Beds were excellent. Had to schedule room cleaning one day in advance.

No batteries in the alarm clock and no info in rooms about hotel rules. Breakfast is JUST grab and go good for snacks,,only packaged items and was poorly stocked. Staff did get items when asked though. No cleaning staff on a Tues night. Overall pleasant stay and would stay again, but maybe only on weekday. Would have been way overpriced on weekend for what it was.

The place itself was nice. I want aware that it is actually separate buildings, like townhouse apartments and not like a hotel. Also breakfast was very disappointing. Online it says buffet breakfast, but all there was was stale bagels, one banana, a few yogurts, no cream cheese. We ended up having to go out for breakfast. This alone will make it so that we will not stay there again.

This was our second stay at the Inn and as before, It was an enjoyable stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. My only complaint would have to be that they need to get their ice machine fixed as we were told it had been broken for awhile. Ice is a main commodity for most guests and should be available when needed. Luckily the staff was very willing to assist in providing ice from the kitchen when asked.

The hotel had several amenities that we used, the indoor pool and fire pit. The continental breakfast and breakfast room were adequate. We enjoy going out to breakfast because we always want eggs, for more protein. Great location for all Rockport has to offer. The sheets were a little old, but for the price an excellent value in season. The staff was top notch and accessible and accommodating.
