We needed dog friendly, garden, off street parking and walking distance to and Cedar House ticked all the boxes. Maybe too big for just 2 people and a dog but for us paying for a place that was bigger than we needed made sense because of all the other key benefits. It’s a nice enough apartment and the middle floor living space was excellent. Rooms a bit pokey and shower fine but not great. It all felt a bit squashed in to us but I suppose modern house are like this now. It was perfect for a few nights for us en route home to Perthshire from France. Whitstable itself is okay but maybe not as gentrified as we expected. Some decent pubs and good restaurants, especially Lazy Lobster, which we thought was excellent. The beaches are not great, some shingle but a lot of smelly black mud (see photo).
