Cedar Motor Inn

Very friendly staff throughout my stay. Nice pool hot tub, and sauna.

Room smelled and had chipped paint, garbage was left in stairwell for at least 2 days. Front desk was friendly, location was convenient. Price was high for Motel but it was graduations time at NMU.

It all started off on the wrong foot i requested early check they did grant my noon check in but when i got to the hotel at 12:35 they said the room was not ready. I was supposed to be in a newly renovated room however this was definitely not the case. To start the vinyl floor was really dirty and parts of it was sticking up i found out the hard way when a piece of it got stuck in my toe. The door had roughly a half in gap on the side when fully closed. The TV was not even close to be mounted straight. The chairs in the room where horrible and looked to have bite marks on them. the Window AC unit also had plenty of exposed gaps. I thought i might go for a swim while in the hot tub two other joined and started vaping in the hot tub right next to me. And the worker who walked by multiple times didn't care at all. Also no hair dryer in the room and when i told the front desk they said oh sometimes people go into different rooms and dont bring them back. The lighting in the room also left a lot to be desired.

We did not use either heat or air conditioning, hot tub , pool and sauna were all great. Room has been recently redone and very nice and clean! Everyone friendly and helpful

First time ever staying here. We definitely will be recommending to others and be staying again very cute rooms an very clean.
