Clean, convenient and friendly staffs. Laundry and electric car charging are the best.

Hotel was ok for the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, not what it used to be a few years back. Rooms need updating. Blinds in my room were not working, they couldn't be lowered so I couldn't sleep the first night. I requested a change of room, but the blinds in the new room were even worse, so I stayed in my original room, but I had the job of climbing on top of the AC unit and manually lowering the blinds for the next 3 nights before going to sleep. Room was very clean though. Carpet on the hallway is bulging up, and if you're not careful enough you can trip down. One day I decided to go to the pool, but it looked dirty and full of leaves, so I changed my mind. Not sure if Hampton Inn will be my first choice when traveling anymore, but again, hotel was just ok.

Breakfast was very good. One elevator was not working but it did not impact our stay.

Broken elevator for my 2 day stay with my family. No hotel manager at the busiest time of the year. Ran out of breakfast by 9 am.

Only one working elevator, and the wait was ridiculous just to get on - at one point the staff had us exit so their cart could get in and then we had to re-enter elevator (all of this with no English) the staff said they have been complaining about this for months. The headboards in our room were chipped and there was black spots all around the tub should’ve taken pictures. The whole hotel was very damp. Hard to keep it cool in our room. Breakfast food was good.

Tesla charger was inoperable. Room wasn’t made up. Pillows were worthless. Plastic anchors on the walls weren’t pathed over. Handicap accessible room shades didn’t work. Hallway carpet was buckled and stained.

Great staff, clean room. Room needs a dresser. Probably because of recent renovations, the room looks stark rather than inviting, and the fitness center was closed (I understand why, but it should have been noted on the hotel.com app). Will definitely return.

The hotel is very nice. The main problem I have is that the two computers in the so-called Business Center are about 25 years old and have been locked on the same screen for over a month. You cannot print or use the computers at all. Also, the gym equipment can use an update. It's functional, but very old.

room was clean however only 1 elevator working left a big wait time for guests. also the window blackout shade would not lift up. instead of fixing it maintenance just folded it up which I could have done. also the heat would not shut off in my room.

Where do I start? First and foremost there was only one functional elevator, which made getting to the 3rd floor an adventure each time we had to use it, the refrigerator in the room did not work, and the room had roaches! As a BONUS, the hallway on the 3rd floor felt like an INFERNO. For almost $200.00 a night, I felt CHEATED! 😕😠😡

Furniture all throughout the room was sticky. In my 3 day stay I had to go to the front desk 6 seperate times to get my room key activated. Found 3 small German roaches in the bathroom. Furniture is not updated. Its old. This property was rated as Wonderful which is why i chose it. It was barely mediocre at best.

Checked into my room and noticed a roach on the bed side table and one on the floor on the opposite side of the room😟 the next day I saw about 4 more, one in the bathroom, another on the bedside table and two more on the table drawer. I was so grossed out. The front desk happily changed my room for us and upgraded us to a suite. It was such an inconvenience to have to move in the first place. I’m not sure I would stay at that property again. Breakfast was average, not many options.

Stay was average. The third floor elevator area was filthy, wasn’t vacuumed at all during our stay needed replacing. Room had stains on carpet floor. Hotel seemed a bit tired. Staff was very friendly and breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

The property was kept clean. Friendly staff. However, the rooms are not replenished with tissue paper etc. The bins were not always emptied. A little more care is needed for the rooms upkeep.

The lobby was clean. However the area outside the elevators was a mess.we were there 3 days and it was never cleaned. We were given a handicapped room, although we never requested one. The seat in the shower was just gross. It was dirty and it smelled like urine. Yuk.

The room was fine and clean. However, the carpets in the corridors are filthy and actually quite disgusting. That turned me off of everything. You need to replace them.

Hair in the shower, stains on the carpet entering the room, stains on the chair in the room & a very strong not so pleasant odor by the elevators and down the hallways.

This is the second time I've stayed at this property. I liked it enough the first time, I stayed again. Both times the rooms felt very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and the hotel smells ridiculously nice when you walk in the lobby! The hotel's carpets need some updating here and there but that's the byproduct of time and that's not why I gave it four stars. It gets four stars because my room had that body-odor-like smell that happens when water stands in a carpet for too long. My first room didn't smell like that, so I'm guessing this was just a one-off, but it wasn't pleasant.

I want to tell you about our experience at the Hampton Inn, Tamarac, FL. My family traveled from North Carolina to see us and we booked them through hotels.com at the Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale West-Sawgrass/Tamarac. My son, wife, 3 year old and 7 month old baby were supposed to stay at the Hampton Inn for 4 nights. The first night they discovered the room was infested with bedbugs. My son took pictures of them to show the manager. The hotel staff does not check the rooms and it was gross and disgusting, especially with 2 young children. After arguing with the manager all morning the next day (he didn't want to refund the money for the room), he finally relented and returned the room charge. Then my family had to spend an entire day (time that should have been spent with us), finding a new hotel, washing and drying all of their clothes, and unpacking in a new hotel. We only had a limited time to be with them Thanksgiving week, and a quarter of the time was spent on this hotel disaster. The Hampton Inn & Suites has an 8.2 Excellent rating on hotels.com, but clearly it's not. My son said after they left, the staff was turning over the room for the next guest but not doing anything about the bedbugs in the room. This is completely unacceptable and ruined both our Thanksgiving week as well as our family's. This was especially disturbing since there were 2 very young children sleeping in a room infested with bedbugs.

The rooms need to be upgraded. Bathroom fixtures are old and there is one lamp for lighting in the entire bedroom area.

I booked a double queen room for me and my husband for a birthday weekend trip. I received a phone call the day before the visit and was offered a "complimentary upgrade to a suite". The room was quite disappointing. The carpet was threadbare and sticky with some unknown substance in 2 spots. The bathroom didn't have a fan and the main area didn't have any lighting so you couldn't sit on the sofa to read. I think it was a "suite" because it had a small sink by the fridge and microwave. The hotel seemed very busy and so I assume this is why we were moved into the King room vs the double queen. The rest of the hotel was nice and clean, check in was easy and breakfast was great. Overall disappointed with the room but the rest of the amenities were great.

Water pressure in the shower sometimes is rather weak. Some mattresses need replacement.

The property itself was okay, but the WiFi did not work at all in the rooms. It only worked in the lobby. The AC also did not work properly and was broken apart in our room. The breakfast was okay. The elevators took very long as well. The hotel was generally ok but likely wouldn’t stay there again.

First let me say the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. But the room itself had several issues, the curtains didn't close properly, the furniture was all dinged up, carpet was stained, and the bathroom shower was broken. It was cleaned well but it seemed dingy.

Property was good. Please fix the bureau in Room 503 where we stayed. For the amount of money we spent we should have been able to put our clothes away. Drawers were broken. Unacceptable.

wifi was weak otherwise awesome

The room size was good for sleeping 2 adults & a child - still had some walking around room & seating.

This hotel was close to the Amerant Bank arena which was nice. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the bed was. None of us slept well and all had sore backs in the morning from it.

My company stays at this particular property often. The building has had some recent renovations and looks fresh and good. Inside is nice and comfortable, rooms are clean and nice. Above all the people make this property. They are always friendly and outgoing, are a great team always attempting to help out as best they can. I know when we stay here we are going to be taken care of.

The staff is the epitome of excellence service especially Dooshima (apologies if I misspelled your name). We felt safe and valued. It’s a home away from home. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and accessible. Very close to the Sawgrass Mills Mall for shopping. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back soon.

Terrible front desk. WORST CHECK IN EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

I have a terrible experience because my daughter got sick and I called explaining the situation so they can have the courtesy to cancel de reservation and refund the money and they didn’t help me in that matter, instead someone call me to let me know that I will be charged the full amount.

Dirty room, rude staff upon check in and check out. Charged different amounts compared to booked receipt.

The door’s lock wasn’t working and the hotel was full, they said it should not be a problem that it didn’t work because it was safe there.

Clean, spacious, and great breakfast buffet in the morning. Easy access to the highway. Restaurants and shops nearby. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed here for a hockey game at the Amerant Arena so this hotel was great choice. From the hotel, it’s a short drive to both the arena and the Sawgrass mall across the street. The room and amenities were very clean and the breakfast is also very good with a fair number of options. We would definitely stay here again. Andy and Susan

Located in a commercial / industrial area. Close to the airport (20 minutes). Stayed only overnight for a long layover. Facilities are ok, will need remodeling soon. Clean, safe. Good for a short stay.

My Dad and I went to see Jeff Dunham at the Arena. We stayed at the Hampton because of its location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was really clean. Breakfast was very good with a lot of selections. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Location was ideal for my event, and close parkway to go across from west FtLauderdale to east coast and Miami.

The hotel by it self is very good. But there's a but, don't expect much from the breakfast. I stayed in Hampton Inn Tamarac few years ago the breakfast there was excellent, and there was some place to shop in walking distance. Here that was not the case at all.

The hotel was very crowded with a hockey team. So breakfast was a little messy. But over all, the hotel was clean and a lot of parking space

Check-in was smooth and person at desk, very friendly/helpful. Breakfast was well cared for and replenished immediately, also just enough! Attendant there was doing a superb job! However, we felt the stay was overpriced and room/hallways could use some refurbishment.

Very clean rooms. The breakfast was very good ad well. It has a pool, and the property is close to many things. For example, the beach, Hardrock casino and the Sawgrass express.
