Parador de Manzanares

Lovely, relaxed hotel with lots of outdoor seating and well maintained grounds. Was perfect for our overnight stop to our journey South.

We had a nice stay, The rooms were a little worn but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful but a little slow when it came to service. The pool was lovely and the grounds were small but very pretty. Would I stay again yes.

The hotel is in a very convenient location when travelling down to Southern Spain. They do take dogs (despite Expedia site saying they don’t) and have great grounds to walk around. The hotel has a nice cafe (with outside and inside eating) as an alternative to a formal restaurant.

Great comfy beds. The noise from the road meant that we closed the balcony door at night but efficient air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We opted to eat at the cheap and cheerful restaurant across the road which was brilliant value - but not stylish! Swimming pool was good

Great hotel just off motorway so easy to get to. Parking good. Staff friendly and polite. Food we had in the bar area was excellent. Definitely would return and recommend.

It is a purpose built hotel on edge of town, right by the side of the motorway. There was plenty of outdoor parking, some of which provided shading from the sun. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and sun terrace although there was a lot of noise from the motorway traffic. As is usual at a Parador there were English speaking staff on reception and at the bar. However, there were none in restaurant which did cause some issues. The whole hotel looks tired and is in need of at least some redecoration. The bathroom was particularly tired and the shaving mirror incorrectly fitted so that it rotated left and right rather than up and down. This meant you had to bend down to use it. Although, at dinner, the restaurant was less than half full the service was rushed, leading to mistakes. The waitress who seemed to be in charge seemed to create an air of tension amongst the other waitresses. I ordered turbot. When it arrived half of it was uncooked. My wife had a lamb shank which came with no vegetables nor an option to order any. It was the same shambolic service at breakfast. The same person who was stressing staff at dinner was in charge with the same results. First, she brought coffee to the table, which we had not ordered. We wanted tea. Second, she took an order for a cooked breakfast from me but not my wife. As it happened, she did not want anything cooked but she should have at least been asked. The waitress then brought three different plates for the two of us!

Pleasant and relatively cheap Parador. Very friendly staff, and excellent local food in the restaurant. Good accessibility and parking, and the road noise doesn't filter into the pool facing rooms.

Second time we have stayed here it’s a great place to stay on route to and from the port.check in easy parking great. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Buen hotel, muy limpio, personal muy amable y muy cómodo para cualquier tipo de estancia. Desayuno bueno, todavía con el sistema de pedir en vez de buffet por tema Covid. Buena estancia

Inside the room, they kept it very clean. Two main beds were very comfortable. Third one was a little cramped with space. Overall we had a good night sleep and good stay on our way to Madrid from Granada.

Stayed there many times and always great. Noticed weeds growing around, see pic.

Love this Parador!! Its proximity to the Major Road system makes it a great place to stop. The building itself needs a little TLC but it is the people that work at the Parador that are real jewels. From entering reception through to leaving after breakfast everybody is fantastic, it is staying with friends. A special mention goes to Carmen & the Restaurant Manager who look after my dietary needs so well-I really appreciate them both.

Un marco de ensueño, personal maravilloso, siempre atentos y encantadores. Limpieza, eficiencia y comodidad. Y varios perritos muy bien educados. Y la cocina, también muy bien. Las carnes, en especial. Con el vino correctamente emparejado

Le petit déjeuner était bon mais on ne nous a pas expliqué qu'on pouvait demander autre chose comme les oeufs au bacon. Nous l'avons vu a la fin du petit déj sur une petite affichette sur notre table. L'eco responsabilite c'est bien mais il ne faut pas oublier de faire la poussière sur les flacons. Nous connaissons cet hôtel, la salle de bain a été restaurée et c'est très bien.

Como bastantes paradores, este establecimiento se está quedando anticuado en sus instalaciones. Cualquier otro hotel que estuviera a 100 m de la autovía habría puesto mejores cierres de ventanas para evitar el ruido. Eso fue lo que más penalizó el descanso nocturno. También me sorprendió negativamente que dijeran que tienen cargador para coches eléctricos, cuando se trata de un simple enchufe de pared en una cochera antigua donde no cabe un coche medianamente ancho. En fin, no es un lugar al que volvería. Eso sí, la atención del personal fue impecable.

Läget nära huvudvägen var särskilt bra vid genomresa. Skönt att kunna äta middag i hotellets restaurang efter en lång dags bilresa. Stort rymligt rum och säng och charmig gammaldags spansk inredning.

hotel con encanto como suelen ser los paradores, qué bueno que lo estan remodelando porque si le hace falta un boost. habitaciones muy comodas, baños viejos, camastros de la alberca muy básicos.

We spend the night having dinner and breakfast the next day. I read some old comments about the noise from the highway but this matters was fixed with sound proof door windors

Comfort in room could be improved and dark chairs hard to sit on.

Funky Parador just off A4, handy for a stop on a long trip south. Rooms big and well equipped, excellent balcony! Next to the motorway, but we weren’t bothered by any noise. Didn’t use the restaurant, went to the restaurant across the road, very good!

EN primer lugar diré que fué la noche del apagón. Aún así, nuestra experiencia ha sido muy muy buena: todo el mundo estaba muy pendiente de nosotros y la verdad que, generador mediante, nuestra estancia fué exquisita.

Good place to break up a road trip

Manzenares was just a stop over on a roadtrip, it suited our needs. The evening meal though a tad expensive, was delicious.... And I am a fussy eater. We had a walk into town, it was siesta time and like a ghost town. It looked like it was once a very prosperous town.

마드리드에서 저녁 후 세비야로 이동중 하루 묶었는데 고속도로 바로 옆에 있어, 찾기도 편하고 주차장도 크며 도시 자체가 크지는 않지만 호텔 인근 차로 10분 거리에 모든 도시의 필요조건을 가지고 있다.. 조식은 휼륭하다고 생각한다.

Eneste negative var at det ikke var mulig å få kaffe før kl 0800 på søndag. Hvorfor har de ikke kaffemaskin i resepsjonen???? God mat i restauranten og full kontroll på GLUTENFRITT

Very good restaurant

This Hotel is one of our favourites. We stay here twice every year on our way from Bilbao down to our house in Southern Spain & then on our return trip.From front of house welcome to the Maintenance men everyone had a welcome & a smile. Food excellent.

Staying at any Parador means having quality meals. This Parador was not the exception. We had a wonderful diner and breakfast!!
