This was a very quiet and unique Inn. The Rum Bar was awesome, the outdoor seating super inviting and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and very quiet away from the busy sidewalk with its' outdoor seating area. Very pleased and a very reasonable price for the area.

What a unique place to stay! We got there late after check-in, but they were able to accommodate us. The location is everything, right on Duval and just a walk to anything you would want. The bar is adorable and fun. We were in Room #4, which is basically just a bed and a small bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great, without any noise issues. It wasn't luxurious by any stretch, but if you're looking for a fun place to stay and aren't too persnickity, this is it!

The check-in experience was probably one of the best ever. Hotel clerk took the time to explain everything and walk me to my room to show me everything including keyless entry. The room was awesomely quaint, clean, and cozy. There is a handcraft (speakeasy type) bar downstairs that pours wickedly incredible drinks (2 included with stay). You can't beat the location of the hotel. This will be a must stay for us whenever my wife and I venture back to Key West.

The Speakeasy Inn is in a good location on Duval Street, although it is many blocks from the area around Mallory Square... it is closer to the Southernmost Point buoy and Hemmingway House. The hotel staff was great ( especially Nicole) so checkin was a breeze. The bar staff seemed indifferent and the drinks were good but high-priced, but since you could hang out on the porch and have a front-row seat to Duval St. it was worth it. The room we had was on ground level so it was nice to go in/out with ease.. but one downside is that we heard the delivery trucks early in the morning. The room was ok and was as advertised, so no complaints here. Since parking is an issue in this area, we were pleased to know there are a few spots about a half block away that were reserved for the hotel... so we just parked there for the duration of our short stay. All in all, we had a positive experience but be prepared to pay for the location as you can walk the length of Duval St. and get to most of the attractions, restaurants, bars and shops.

Very cute, so much charm and character, we received two free painkillers from the famous rum bar upon check in, we were right off duval street. everything was clean and staff was lovely, can’t wait to stay here again!

What a great place to stay in Key West. Rooms are small yet just right. Right on Duval st, yet on the quiet end. Easy walk to all the popular spots or just a nice stroll. And the Rum bar is a must, just a great little spot to relax.

Last minute decided a short trip to Key West and found Speakeasy-- great reviews so set it up. This place is outstanding. Was given ground floor room-- nice little studio like with bed (wall tv), small living room, sink and refrigerator, and then a bathroom. So convenient being on Duval-- though more south side-- so a bit of walk to north side-- but thats what I came for-- to walk Duval and stop and many places. The people running this place were awesome-- the Rum Bar is the best-- I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay (oh and free parking if you bring your car-- they own 4 spaces so if you are lucky enough you can get one of theres-- but lots of street parking on the side streets free)

The room was absolutely perfect. The bed was incredible - plenty of storage and space for two gals on a little vacay - a small kitchenette with a decent frig - and right above a very fun and happening rum bar. I would certainly stay here again!!!

Our stay at speakeasy in was perfect!! Room 4 is small but great for a couple who don’t need a bunch of frills. It was so clean, the AC worked well, and they provided plenty of towels, soaps/shampoo, a hair dryer, and water bottles. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy. Fell in love with Captain the thicc cat. The location is also great, towards the end of duval which is a bit quieter. Only a 10 min walk to the more famous bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and quiet. Loved the bed. Location was perfect for walking to southern most attractions and entire Duval street. Also close to free shuttle when needed. Most of all was the helpful and friendly staff, and of course, the cat.

We loved staying here. The staff was more than helpful and the room was very clean. For being located behind/above a bar and right on Duval St., it was honestly pretty quiet. We heard an occasional horn or loud stereo coming from the road but that was about it. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Friendly people who work at Speakeasy Inn, clean rooms, good bed and tasty rum. Great experience, definitely coming back. Wait, the roosters in the early morning are a bit annoying, but that’s nature.

We love staying at the Speakeasy. Staff always very friendly and you can’t go wrong when they have “Captain” the resident cat to greet you. The only issue we had, and it was minor, was the smell of the room. While clean and clean smelling, it was a bit too strong scented for my senses. Would not deter me from staying again though.

Our room was adorable, and conveniently located to everything. My only issues, albeit minor, was the bed was a bit too hard and the deadbolt on your door did not work. All in all, would definitely stay again!

Loved the location and setting out on the second story covered porch people watching and just relaxing. The building has a very interesting history. Our issue was when we tried to go to bed around 11:30 and there was so much street traffic noise and the a/c window unit was noisy and kicking on and off all night long.

Our issue was when we tried to go to bed around 11:30 and there was so much street traffic noise and the a/c window unit was noisy and kicking on and off all night long.

Our stay at speakeasy in was perfect!! Room 4 is small but great for a couple who don’t need a bunch of frills. It was so clean, the AC worked well, and they provided plenty of towels, soaps/shampoo, a hair dryer, and water bottles. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy. Fell in love with Captain the thicc cat. The location is also great, towards the end of duval which is a bit quieter. Only a 10 min walk to the more famous bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

The check-in experience was probably one of the best ever. Hotel clerk took the time to explain everything and walk me to my room to show me everything including keyless entry. The room was awesomely quaint, clean, and cozy. There is a handcraft (speakeasy type) bar downstairs that pours wickedly incredible drinks (2 included with stay). You can't beat the location of the hotel. This will be a must stay for us whenever my wife and I venture back to Key West.

Last minute decided a short trip to Key West and found Speakeasy-- great reviews so set it up. This place is outstanding. Was given ground floor room-- nice little studio like with bed (wall tv), small living room, sink and refrigerator, and then a bathroom. So convenient being on Duval-- though more south side-- so a bit of walk to north side-- but thats what I came for-- to walk Duval and stop and many places. The people running this place were awesome-- the Rum Bar is the best-- I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay (oh and free parking if you bring your car-- they own 4 spaces so if you are lucky enough you can get one of theres-- but lots of street parking on the side streets free)

Upon check-in, I was shown to my room by the hospitable owners of the Inn. I enjoyed a pleasant, quiet 3 night stay. My room was totally appointed with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. A short walk to shops and fine dining. I would stay here again.

What a unique place to stay! We got there late after check-in, but they were able to accommodate us. The location is everything, right on Duval and just a walk to anything you would want. The bar is adorable and fun. We were in Room #4, which is basically just a bed and a small bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great, without any noise issues. It wasn't luxurious by any stretch, but if you're looking for a fun place to stay and aren't too persnickity, this is it!

The Speakeasy Inn is in a good location on Duval Street, although it is many blocks from the area around Mallory Square... it is closer to the Southernmost Point buoy and Hemmingway House. The hotel staff was great ( especially Nicole) so checkin was a breeze. The bar staff seemed indifferent and the drinks were good but high-priced, but since you could hang out on the porch and have a front-row seat to Duval St. it was worth it. The room we had was on ground level so it was nice to go in/out with ease.. but one downside is that we heard the delivery trucks early in the morning. Since parking is an issue in this area, we were pleased to know there are a few spots about a half block away that were reserved for the hotel... so we just parked there for the duration of our short stay. All in all, we had a positive experience but be prepared to pay for the location as you can walk the length of Duval St. and get to most of the attractions, restaurants, bars and shops.

Room was clean and quiet. Loved the bed. Location was perfect for walking to southern most attractions and entire Duval street. Also close to free shuttle when needed. Most of all was the helpful and friendly staff, and of course, the cat.

This was a very quiet and unique Inn. The Rum Bar was awesome, the outdoor seating super inviting and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and very quiet away from the busy sidewalk with its' outdoor seating area. Very pleased and a very reasonable price for the area.

Very cute, so much charm and character, we received two free painkillers from the famous rum bar upon check in, we were right off duval street. everything was clean and staff was lovely, can’t wait to stay here again!

The room was absolutely perfect. The bed was incredible - plenty of storage and space for two gals on a little vacay - a small kitchenette with a decent frig - and right above a very fun and happening rum bar. I would certainly stay here again!!!
