The bed was comfortable. The room was definitely nice for a quick stop. No fridge in the room is something I wasn't crazy about. Ice machine was broken too.

This motel has a fine price point, but it has minimal amenities. For me, the rooms were certainly adequate. However, staying here is incredibly inconvenient. I was initially assigned to one room, but after going to dinner and a gas station, my room had been given to someone else. Fortunately, the new people were honest and didn't steal my belongings. Also, that initial room i got was smoking, not non-smoking as requested. Anyways, I settled into my new room for the night, and then left for Cedar Point the next morning. I took my belongings with me, as I had no faith in this motel to not give them away. I spent the whole day worried that I would return and not have a room. After a long day, once again, I returned to a room which my key didn't work for. I was able to get back in after yet another trip to the office. My neighbor has apparently been staying at the motel for quite some time, as did another guy smoking outside, and both said that their keys are deactivated every single day. I guess they just don't know what they are doing in the office. Also of note, the pool is closed for the season, has a few feet of stagnant water in it, and it's the middle of July. Obviously, it hasn't functioned in a very long time, so don't expect to swim.

This hotel advertises a pool yet the pool is closed. The ice machine was broken for several days. During the July 4th weekend I had to chase down the employees to get clean towels. I chose this hotel for two reasons, the price and the fact that they had a pool. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Came in for a wrestling tournament with 5 rooms booked. Boys were excited to relax in pool after long days of wrestling to find out pool was drained and had sign closed for the season in mid July. The water got super hot which is great to have hot water but extremely touchy to change temps so went from boiling to cold.

Police did drive through the parking lot a lot the pool had no water in it and was broken. Our door didn’t even fit the door jam right the room smelled like a bar. There was garbage all over in the cement was dirty. The banisters walking over were unsafe it looks like someone could literally fall off the top floors. The TV was broken in one of the rooms. The shower was dirty. The sheets were dingy, and the pillow stunk. they also required a cash deposit when I checked in

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! We were uncomfortable touching anything in the bathroom because of brown/yellow stains everywhere, the walls were sticky, the beds were so stiff even our 6 year old was uncomfortable, and to top it off the pool wasn’t even filled at all.

The buildings are older style and looks {70's to 80's} but, once you enter the room, it's peaceful. the room was more modern, very clean, AC was great and the beds were very comfortable. There was no disruptive noise outside the door and it is located directly behind a Bob Evans! Nice people!

Bathroom had blood and boogers on the wall, the door to the room you can see the light around the whole door frame to the outside. No shampoo was supplied. The air conditioner smelled like old smoke when it was blowing and very dirty inside.

Simple things that make a huge difference in a place. After drying I felt uncomfortable. Zero detergent smell nor clean smell to anything. Not filthy but unkempt carelessness in all aspects.

It was fine cleanliness wise but, dogs barking kept me up when trying to sleep in on vacation!!! Everything worked and the channels available was fantastic!!! Better than I have with DISH !!! Not bad for the price !!!

The property was a little better than your typical Motel 6. It was quick check in. It was a quiet location. The room I had was recently updated and clean. My only complaint is the mattress was too basic. If you sat down too hard, you could feel the platform of the bed underneath. If you are needing a short overnight stay for a reasonable price, I recommend giving it a try.

The room was tidy & clean. I did not like that weird corner seat that looked comfortable, but absolutely was not. It was a chilly night & it took forever for the room to warm up. The bed was a too firm mattress on top of a creaky platform that I thought for sure was going to collapse every time I moved. The comfort level is definitely lacking here,

You stay at this property at your own peril. I'm not sure it's even open. I tried calling over 5 times the day of check-in to verify. No working number every time. Not being sure they were open I found another hotel. And yet they still charged my CC. Dispute in process.

I loved our room for the price we got it for. The only complaint is they need more visual signs to guide you places. I could not for the life of me find the ice machine. However, when I checked in and out the staff was so wonderful.

Front clerk John ended up charging me for a night, saying well you have to check in and you didn’t. I told him iam a travel nurse and work night shift. So I needed to make sure I’d have a room when I got off at 730am. He wasn’t concerned about my issue, nor did he try to help solve it. It’s pretty bad to have to work all night and get no consideration from him. Then he tells me Expedia is going to charge you anyway. Really because they never have before. Seems that he made sure he got his money though.
Front clerk John ended up charging me for a night, saying well you have to check in and you didn’t. I told him iam a travel nurse and work night shift. So I needed to make sure I’d have a room when I got off at 730am. He wasn’t concerned about my issue, nor did he try to help solve it. It’s pretty bad to have to work all night and get no consideration from him. Then he tells me Expedia is going to charge you anyway. Really because they never have before. Seems that he made sure he got his money though.

I have stayed here many times. The hotel staff is amazing! They always seem to do what they can to accommodate the guests. For the most part, the rooms have been priced cheaper than expected for the area. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone needing to stay in the Amherst/ Lorain/ Elyria area.

Was a good stay. We arrived late in the night due to coming from south carolina, but the night office staff was outstanding and super polite. The room was small but efficient for the price and location. We were pleased and would stay here again when traveling in this area.

I absolutely loved it there they were very helpful with a situation we had accured while there, they kept checking on us after the situation. I really suggest it. Pool maybe down but who cares at this point they went above an beyond to help when they didnt have to.

The buildings are older style and looks {70's to 80's} but, once you enter the room, it's peaceful. the room was more modern, very clean, AC was great and the beds were very comfortable. There was no disruptive noise outside the door and it is located directly behind a Bob Evans! Nice people!

If you're heading to cedar Point, this is a great option if you're staying by yourself. There is absolutely no way you're gonna beat the price. I was really surprised considering all of the other reviews that I had seen from years ago. It appears the people that are managing this property are doing a fine job. The room was furnished, clean, no frills, and small. Just what I needed for this occasion. I'm so glad that I save so much money that i can spemd more are Cedar Point. Cedar Point is 25 minutes away.

Motel 6 was solid for a Motel 6. We paid 70 bucks for a room and was only 35 minutes from Cedar Point. We will definitely be staying again when all of the closer hotels are upwards of 200 a night during peak season.

We also love rooms that open out to the parking lot, like here. Finding the entrance road to the property required a phone call to the front desk; entrance road not at all intuitive. Surprise $50 fee at check-in in case of damage. Though it will be returned, the check-in said it might take as long as 2 weeks.

Loved how peaceful it was although being by the highway and traffic going by, didn't bother me at all. Room was clean, nice variety of channels if your a TV person. Beds were comfortable ac worked great. Very confienent, there are so many food spots and groceries stores near by everything walking distant if had to.

The room was very small for them knowing there were 4 of us and I would have a baby. They allowed the customer in front of me smoking amd ground floor they would only allow me to have smoking if I paid an additional $35 a night i declined then even after asking for ground floor due to sticthes up and down my entire leg after deep varicose vein removal surgery then told me if I paid the additional fee for smoking he would allow me to have ground floor. Beds were so small and uncomfortable there was no microwave or fridge. ONLY 1 towel in my room and to top it all off one of motel 6 trademarks is coffee and tea in the morning and rhey dont do that there. They should not have motel 6 name

Everything was great. However, we had a late flight and informed motel of our late check in well in advance. We checked in at about 2 am and they placed us in a room that was right in front of where they began welding work at 8am! I understand it may have been a small inconsideration, but that was definitely, I imagine, something that could have been avoided, maybe not, I don't know. I did ask the front office if the welding was to continue the next morning. She replied no and it was not. Hopefully, staff take these small things into consideration when placing a late check in. Other than that, facility was great. Did not spend much time there. However, 24 hour Denny's is right in front. Lake very close and Oberlin college, which is what we went for was a straight road ahead, only 16 minutes.

I also review with video for Google, so ho on & take look! I am VERY unsure as to WHY this motel is getting low reviews! Myself & 3 children stayed here 19-21 July 2 rms, and i honestly can say that i have oaid extremely more for a room that was less.The office staff was VERY pleasant as well as accommodating! Anything that i asked fir was provided! On check out day, i Assumed was owners, grabbed whatever i needed and gave to me. We had a slight issue with securit dep, but it was taken care of quickly! The rooms were comfortable & clean, i cant really say that anything was bad. My family was there for Cedar Point, and its all but a 20 min drive there! Numerous places to eat with in walking, and they do have coffee in mornings! We are going back ti Cedar Point here in Aug, and i will deff be going here if days are right. Bed clothes, towels, wash cloths were all supplied and were clean! The beds, which i honestly do not expect "great" at motel were comfortable and i fell asleep quickly. The motel is saved in my trips and would ABSOLUTELY stay again!

The bathroom was dirty, the wall was growing mold. The front door to the room had the paint peeling off and it didn’t look like the place was well maintained. While the room itself was clean, the entrance and the restroom were appalling specially the molded wall.

Room was dirty floor and all bathroom was terrible ended up cleaning the whole room with cleaning products we ended up buying at a bear store even bought candles 3 to be exact for the smell in the room and two plug ins we asked to be changed but it was the other room was the same even the microwave and fridge we will not stay here again and will not recommend it at all we just wasted our money I do have to say Armherst is beautiful and it’s people we will go back but won’t stay at motel 6 ever again

The room was so dirty we ended up cleaning the room including the floors with bleach and fabuloso we even put a Clorox tablet in the toilet tank the towels were terrible thank God we always bring our own also the microwave was so dirty and the fridge we always clean it anyways but ….. the ice machine wasn’t working either and I asked the front desk and it was no more also there’s no breakfast included just coffee in the office early in the morning we will never be staying there again. The sad part is we feel like we just wasted our hard working earned money
