El Plantío Golf Resort

The apartments were very generous in size. Other than the pool, gym, football pitch and golf, there is nothing else to do. Wish there was a kids club or evening entertainment. On the whole, it’s not far from Alicante or the airport but not much to do aro7nd the property.

Less than 10 minutes to Alicante airport, so very convenient especially if you have hired a car. Large 2 bedroomed, two bathroom apartments with kitchen, dining area, sitting area and patio in a quiet and beautiful setting on a golf course. Two very large swimming pools, however, unheated over the winter months. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room, well equipt. Nice pool areas and out side restaurant. Very close walking distance to the golf course and just 10min by taxi to Alicante center and/or the airport!

El apartamento muy espacioso para 5 personas. Sin duda lo mejor. Al resort le faltan opciones de entretenimiento, tanto para niños como para adultos. Solo lo recomiendo si vas a jugar al golf

We really had a great stay at El Plantio. The appartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff at the resort was really friendly. We had the breakfast every morning and it was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay just outside of the city to stay with a family with younger children. The swimming pool is also great.

They should not say that they have a gym as it is a joke. Equipment is not working and there is no aircon. Sunchairs are on the last year or so because they are saggy. People also need to shape up and not put towels and leave. Our aircon vroke down in the afternoon of day one, but the technician made a fantastic work to make it work again.

2 huge swimming pools and extra spacious rooms.

Very spacious apartments and large pools close to Alicante airport, bathrooms were a bit old and tired and could do with renovation but the rest of the apartment was adequate. Parking is not free unless you can get one of only 4/5 spots so beware of this as you may end up having to pay to use the plentiful underground parkin

Dejligt hotel med pools, store lejligheder og skønt med mange træer og planter. Perfekt hvis du ønsker lidt fred og ro fra byens larm. Rigtig venligt og hjælpsomt personale. De er meget imødekommende og servicemindede. Dog var rengøringen ved ankomst meget dårlig. Vi fandt papir på gulvet og affald under sengen, men det værste var alt det hår vi fandt på væggen og på gulvet i brusekabinen. Der var rigtig meget. Dette måtte vi selv fjerne, selvom vi havde informeret om det. Men vi havde alt i alt et godt ophold på hotellet.

Room was filthy, clearly not cleaned since previous guests and probably not before that. Thick dirt all over floor, piece of MEAT on floor, food left on bedside table, debris all over sofa, bottles and rubbish on patio, etc etc... Whole place was unclean. We had to check out early in the morning anyway and since the room was so disgusting we just wanted to get out, and as there was a queue at reception (just one staff member there) we did not waste time logging a complaint. Big mistake. I followed up with hotel / Expedia and they refused to take any action or compensation. Hotel also lied to Expedia to avoid us getting any money back, claiming the room was perfectly clean. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you enjoy a filthy environment.

The check-in experience set the tone — the staff member who assisted us (possibly sitting in for a manager) was unwelcoming and gave the impression that guests were more of a burden than anything else. The property itself is in very poor condition. Buildings are visibly dirty, paint is peeling everywhere, mildew stains are widespread, and wall tiles and walkways look like they haven’t been pressure-cleaned in years. The resort simply looks neglected. Our room was another letdown. It was extremely noisy, with little to no soundproofing. We could hear everything — including loud parties at 3 a.m. We reported this issue, and while it was temporarily addressed for one night, the very next day the reception staff acted as though they had no record of our complaint. The buffet was chaotic. Staff members often argued with each other openly — and as a fluent Spanish speaker, I could understand exactly what was being said. The food itself wasn’t terrible; they offered the basics, and dining quality was at least acceptable compared to the rest of the experience. Safety was another concern. The property at night is very dark, with minimal lighting. We were placed in the last apartment of the first block, and walking back there after dark didn’t feel safe at all. Overall, this was my first and definitely my last visit to this property. Poor maintenance, unprofessional staff, and uncomfortable rooms made for a miserable

Fina poolområden, mindre bra restaurang, myror på rummet, dålig städning.

Leilighet var bra. Anlegget fremsto som lite vedlikeholdt, dårlig renhold. Skitne møbler og solsenger. Basseng ok, men ingen bassenghåndklær. Restaurant var skikkelig dårlig. Både mat og service. Langt unna Alicante når man vil spise og drikke godt.

Stor lägenhet med 2 badrum, rent och fint

We hebben hier 9 dagen verbleven met ons gezin. We vonden het super. Hadden een twee kamer appartement met een groot balkon op de 2 de verdieping.Alles was netjes en schoon. Bedden lagen erg lekker. Elke dag schoonmaak en het verwisselen van de handdoeken. Ontbijt was ook prima. We probeerde nog een paar dagen bij te boeken maar was helaas helemaal volgeboekt. Komen hier zeker een keer terug.

Nära flygplatsen vilket var bra. Lyckades inte öppna någon balkongdörr och alla fönster var igentäckta så det var lika ljust som i en grotta i lägenheten. Inte så sköna sängar. Men väldigt stora lägenheter till en billig slant så det vägde upp. Frukost helt ok.

We arrived quite late at night - the reception staff were helpful. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. A kettle would have been useful. The breakfast choices were excellent.

Ice cold rooms

The rooms are a little dated, there’s only one TV in the living area. The bed was comfortable enough. Rooms were cleaned daily which was good. The breakfast times was good. Some variety in the food range is needed. We booked half board but the dinner did not offer variety there were preferential treatment to those paying on a daily basis as they got more options to order. We were the half board is limited to 3 main options and the kids menu only offered nuggets and burgers. Restaurants staff were really friendly while the reception is a hit and miss with the friendliness of the staff. The Hotel grounds are pretty although a little out of town 15 min taxi drive will set you back 30 euros better rent a car if you’re staying here. Overall the we had a pleasant stay.

Lovely spacious apartment, clean and quiet. Excellent food in the bar/restaurant. Couple of things let it down, mainly that there's no kettle so had to boil water on the hob for cups of tea! The ensuite bathroom sliding door was coming away from the runners so wouldn't close properly and the freezer was completely iced up so couldn't be used as the drawers wouldn't open! Main good point was the bed..so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it! We would stay here again, so convenient for the airport.

Stayed in a two bed apartment that was very clean, very spacious and furnished well. Breakfast was included and was a decent buffet. Only downside there was no kettle in the kitchen so couldn't make tea or coffee.

Nous avons pris cet hôtel une nuit avant de reprendre l’avion. Il est très bien situé à 8 mn en voiture de l’aéroport. Le logement (3 chambres) est grand mais vieillissant. Il mériterait quelques rénovations. Nous avons mangé au restaurant le soir : le service est déplorable. Les serveurs ne sont pas aimables. Le temps d’attente est très long.le repas n’était vraiment pas bon. Restaurant à éviter !!

Great place, friendly staff, great breakfast

Todo ha ido genial. Hemos tenido un evento de empresa, y la verdad que nos han atendido súper bien. El entorno es inmejorable y el personal muy amable. Estuve en un apartamento de dos habitaciones muy moderno, cercano a una de las piscinas. Escogí media pensión y me pareció que lo que ofrecían tanto en desayuno como en cenas era de buena calidad.

Vi kommer inte tillbaka till detta hotell, personalen fokuserar inte på kundservice. Vi behövde fråga om hjälp flertalet gånger för att hitta till vårt rum trots att jag är höggravid, vi hade två stora resväskor, vagn och barn. Det stod två personer i receptionen och bara vi som var där och ingen föreslog att hjälpa oss till rummet. Det fanns ingen hjälpsamhet hos personalen varken i receptionen eller restaurangen.

Accommodation: Good size, clean rooms with good WiFi. F&B: The servings are large and fairly priced, but the quality is very mediocre. Service: The restaurant is understaffed so be prepared to wait at busy times (I had to go to the bar both evenings to ask for service); perhaps unsurprisingly, the staff are overworked and seem pretty miserable (I think I only saw a smile once!).

Stayed here as wanted to visit Alicante but also wanted a relaxing base with a pool. Lovely spacious modern apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Breakfast was a bonus as had loads of choice and set us up for the day. My boys (aged 15, 11 and 10) loved the pools (2) and also made use of the 3g football pitch. You really need a car as there isnt anything within walking distance but its just a short drive from the airport and also 10 minutes into.Alicante centre. We loved our stay here and would definitely go back.

We used as a stop over for the airport which is only 10 minutes drive. It’s a little dated, but clean. Nice pool area and good food from the bar / restaurant. Friendly staff.

Dejligt sted, som vi nu har været på 8 gange. Passer perfekt til golf, værelserne er store nok, så 4 personer er intet problem og der er to badeværelser. Mad niveauet var også hævet og servicen fin. Dog kræver det noget udvendig vedligehold, da det ser slidt ud flere steder. At man bor på golfbanen er også en kæmpe fordel og det er 8 minutter fra lufthavnen og 12 min med taxi til Alicante centrum

Kort overnatting på 5 timer før tidlig flyavgang. Fungerte fint å bo her. Litt lite parkeringsplasser i nærheten av leiligheten, så måtte gå et stykke.

Great property if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet atmosphere away from the traffic and the noise. Beautiful grounds and pools and although we didn’t golf the grounds looked amazing.

Vi gillade utsikten från rummet ut mot poolen och bergen! Kul med fotbollsplanen där kidsen kunde spela fotboll, poolen var fint men ganska kallt vatten! sängen va hårda! Maten var ingen höjdare, vi beställde en pizza och den var Micro klass kaffet ingen vidare heller lika så frukosten

Le complexe est très agréable et reposant avec beaucoup de verdure et situé à l’extérieur de la ville. Tranquillité assurée. Le seul petit bémol c’est le restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais c’est la pagaille.

Manou était extraordinairement sympa . Mais les repas identiques tous les jours avec 2 choix uniquement . Pendant 5 jours nous avons mangy le même repas au souper. Commme à la cantine

Helt nydelig hotell, fantastisk flott rom som var en leilighet med fullt kjøkken og uteplass rett ut mot et flott bassengområde. Kort kjøretur til flyplassen og Alicante sentrum. To problemer: det ene at vi kun var én natt, vi skulle gjerne vært lengre. 2: middagen i restauranten var 0-stjerners. Det må de bare fikse, ingen grunn til å servere så elendig mat.

Lejlighederne fungerer godt - masser af plads og dejlig udsigt. Maden på hotellet er ikke særlig godt, spis i golfklubben.

Jättebra ställe nära golf bra pooler men dom behöver se över menyn på stället. Om man inte skall åka in till alicante och äta varje kväll. Katastrof meny kvällstid, annars supernljd med stället.
