I must make everybody aware do not visit this hotel. There are enormous works including electricity being cut off no hot water. The pool is not usable dust and workmen everywhere the lifts didn’t work. Nobody manning the reception desk to deal with our problems. And when we rang, we just got a answerphone and then cut off absolutely appalling avoid avoid avoid. such danger I can’t upload as many photographs as I took, but it was terrible

I was expected the rooms to be dated by they are horrendous. The new part isn't much better. (Looks nice but apparently very shoddy) I was staying alone with my small daughter and the balcony door wouldn't lock. The man at reception didn't really seem interested. We ended up checking out a day early. The pool area is quite nice, although I think it would probably be better as an adults only. Bar menu was nice. The entertainment lady was very friendly. I had originally paid alot more but looked last minute and the price had gone down and I was able to re book. Thank goodness!!! I'd have been mortified if I'd paid the original price for what we hasld.

The property was located in a nice quiet and scenic location but still near enough to walk to local bars and shops and had great views from the balcony of the sea/beach. The reception staff were wonderful and helpful. It was dated in the corridors and some rooms in accommodation- especially the kitchen but we werent cooking so were not too bothered. Although a bigger/normal size kettle would be good rather than tiny one provided. The indoor pool was great and the outdoor one would have been if the weather was nice. Its a shame it no longer has indoor bar and restaurant - the breakfast is ate outside at the snack bar by the pool, which is great if warm and not raining, but when it rains you have to make sure your sat under canopy and you dont get wet cups and plates when you go get your meal. Plenty of cold choice breakfast items but same hot food every morning (which isnt very hot - fried egg, bacon, beans and sausage) kept in electric food warmer. The toaster is so slow and we had to rescue the handle for the toaster shelf our self toaster twice as dont think member of staff knew it was stored inside toaster! But overall we were satisfied with accommodation for the price we paid and would return if we wanted a low cost holiday/short break again

Hotellet ligger bra vid stranden men är gammalt och slitet. Aircondition på rummet fungerade inte. Fläktarna de ställt in blåste knappt. Städning runt poolen va obefintlig skräp i vattnet och runt pool området. Frukosten va ätbar men inte mer. Tyvärr inte ett hotell som jag kan rekommendera då de skulle behöva göra en hel del åtgärder för att få upp det till den klass de själva säger sig ha.

The Roc Portonova Apartamentos are in a great location. Over looking Palma Nova boat club/Palma Nova bay. There is an outdoor and an indoor pool. The buildings works are still continuing in some of the apartments. Our room, large in size, a 2 bedroom apartment but it is very dated. This room provides a wonderful view of the bay, but you need to look past the very large rooftop first of all. The room had a horrible, spilt milk smell to it and the locks/security are insufficient. It is important to note, some of these apartments are residential/privately owned. We were not aware of this. On arrival, we were told we had to pay a refundable deposit, this was the first we had heard of this. There was no other communication re our stay - at all. No information on WIFI, Bar opening times, entertainment, house keeping - nothing. We were on a short break, house-keeping did not visit our apartment once in our 3 nights. The pillows provided were very high/hard. We enquired about moving room, we looked at another apartment, this too was an older style, looking out onto an abandoned building. On our last morning, we had breakfast at the bar/poop area. It was a lovely breakfast and included cooked breakfast/fruits/pastries/tea, coffee/juices. The beach is right on your doorstep, there are supermarkets, bars/restaurants all within walking distance. The apartment has cooking facilities, including a microwave, iron/board.

Good location. We had 2 bed apartment, which needs some maintenance. Ground floor apartment and the access to the pool is in need of repair. The gate has been broken and the metal pieces have just been left sticking out, very dangerous if you were staying with children. The beds were very comfy, I’d say we were lucky enough to have new mattresses. The sheets and towels were also clean and in good condition, however overall the apartment needs a refurb. The internal doors are in bits and the patio door nearly doesn’t open. Nice pool. Food available at pool bar all day. Overall our stay was fine as it was only 3 days but if you have high expectations don’t stay here. It’s very dated and in need of upgrade.

Sadly not an impressive stay. Building was under construction but this caused lots of inconvenience for us and really put a downer on the holiday. Hotel was extremely dusty and corridors smelt really bad which was bad due to a member of the party being asthmatic. There was very loud construction work which started early most mornings and woke us up. There was also several days of our trip where we woke up to no water, not hot water and on some occasions while we were in apartment we had no power as power cut out. This was unacceptable and hotel did not seem too bothered.

Nice visit, stayed there for one week with my family at their newly renovated suite, clean and fresch lobby, the room was very clean and nice, helpful and kind staff, despite being a family friendly hotel with children and youths it was very calm and respectful environment. Also fantastic cleaning assistans who came every morning and did a great job. Small notice: the hotel has very limited range of goods in their stores but there are alot of shops and supermarkets nearby and even LIDL is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel Overall great experience, strongly recomend

El trato de recepción muy bueno. Realmente era lo único bueno. Las habitaciones muy oscuras. Las terrazas no tienen luces ( hay focos pero no hay interruptor para encender). Todo súper sucio. La piscina estaba muy fría para ser piscina climatizada. Las barandillas estaban rotas en la piscina y había una punta de hierro de las barandillas. Súper peligroso.

Old property, in need of renovation, staff is very stingy, poor management, smell in the hallway, uneven paths, ac blew cold stinky air, they want to inspect the room before you leave just to nickel and dime you, sliding doors were not operable to enjoy the balcony. The furniture in the rooms are very bad do not be deceived by the pics. The hallways have old mattresses and weird stenches coming from urine stains on the carpets.

Vi ble møtt med hyggelige personell ved ankomst. Allerede ved resepsjonen fikk vi ett inntrykk av å komme til et eldre hotell. Inn i selve leiligheten var det enda verre. Man fikk en opplevelse av å bo på ett rom fra 60 tallet. Det var snuskete og veldig slitt. Komfyren gikk på gass, maling flasset av, ødelagte fliser og kjøleskapet var nasty og lite innbydende. Beklager med dette er det dårligste hotellet vi har vært på. Aldri tilbake. Eneste positive var at det var rent i bassenget, og beliggenhet med nærhet til sjøen og sentrum er meget bra.

We asked several times for cleaning without getting it. Some of us ended up with bed bugs from the rooms. There were aunts all over the floor from day one and when we asked for help to get rid of the aunts nothing happened. We had the apartment for 5 persons with one sleeping couch. The sleeping couch came without bedsheets and a pillow or quilt. One day in the middle of our stay we came home late and got told by the receptionist to sleep on the beach.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel au mois de juin. L’emplacement est idéal et la piscine très appréciable. Néanmoins la propreté de l’appartement reste complètement à revoir. Le sol était médiocre (cheveux, saletés, …). Concernant les équipements à disposition, ils étaient très faibles (cafetière non complète = non utilisable, pas d’éponge, …). La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas!

We were not impressed with this hotel and booked another and left after one night. The room air conditioning did not work so none of the family got any sleep. The room wasn’t the cleanest but the air con was our main problem. In the hallways of the hotel the carpet was not very clean. It seemed as though some people actually live in the hotel as there was people with dogs and non hotel furniture on balconies. On one of the floors there was broken walls and flaked off paint / wood chip where part of the wall had been broken. Would not recommend and would not book again.

Great apartment, very spacious with a fantastic view especially for the price. Yes the rooms are tired but everything was clean and well equipped. The beds are very firm. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool area was clean and the pool bar prices are very reasonable.

Unfortunately the overall condition was not good. Everything was old and outdated. There was no internet access at all in the hallway, so as inside the room. We had to go down to the lobby to get some wifi.

We stayed on the 4th floor and on entering the room your eyes are drawn to the most amazing veiw across the bay, however the more we looked around the more noticeable it was of how tierd the hotel was and in need of some major renovation. We still had a great time and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival we asked about the baggage storage as we arrived before check in time, they showed us to a storage room that was unlocked and was more like a staff room. Just to later see that others were having their goods stored in a locked room. After when was finally time for check in they let us know there is a safety deposit for the booking which was hidden in the policy. Just to find out that not only the room we were put in was a complete mess with lots of issues but also our view was the bins (trash cans) from the restaurant in front of the hotel. We couldn’t see the see, and everything the balcony smelled like barbecue from the restaurant we couldn’t dry our clothes there as it will make them smell, and the second night they put a group of loud boys that didn’t stop shouting until 4 in the morning in the apartment over us. Not what I paid for and I wouldn’t be coming back.

The apartment was clean and the staff were very helpful. There was ongoing renovation but the room we got was not renovated yet so it was outdated. Hopefully we can come back again once the renovation is complete because the apartment has a great location close to shops and the beach.

Vi hadde et fint opphold. Leiligheten var sliten men det var rent og sengene var gode. Vi bodde på samme hotell året før også. Uteområdet er fint og beliggenheten suveren. Vi kommer tilbake til nyrenovert apartment. De holder på.

El personal muy amable, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y a ofrecerte el mejor servicio posible. Con respecto al alojamiento, pienso que deberían de reformarlos un poco, parecen del año 70/80, los balcones tienen un sistema de seguridad que nunca había visto. Encontramos una cucharacha en el baño. El desayuno es muy repetitivo.

Rooms are tired as other reviews say but other than that the stay was great. Staff, location, pool and pool bar all perfect. Could do with some TLC but wouldn't let that put you off staying.
