We checked in on a Monday. We were the only people there. The owners/staff were great. Very helpful and pleasant. The room was recently redone (assumed after Hurricane Milton hit the area). Everything was new and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a one-night stay while celebrating my daughter's birthday at the beach. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. As soon as we entered the room, there was a strong smell of marijuana. I immediately notified the front desk, and a staff member came to spray the room in an attempt to eliminate the odor. After spending a little more time in the room, we discovered several cleanliness issues that made us very uncomfortable. There were urine stains on the wall, spider webs and spiders in the bathroom, and the towels were stained and had hair on them. The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. Because of these issues, we did not feel comfortable or safe staying the night. We decided to pack our belongings and drive the 2.5 hours back home instead of remaining at the hotel. This was especially disappointing because we had chosen this stay to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the experience completely overshadowed what should have been a special occasion.
