A really nice hotel, with excellent food, big clean rooms, and friendly staff. Nice sandy beach, with some rock plates off to the side in the water, comfortable beach beds. When it’s full, beach beds are very difficult to find, both on the beach and around the pool. Pool, pool bar and beach bar close at 6PM (18h), with more than two hours of sunshine left to enjoy (in July). Spa service is excellent! I can strongly recommend massage therapist Nick! Not a lot to do for kids, and nightly entertainment is low key.

Plus points: Well laid-out hotel. Good spa service, including indoor heated spa pool, gym and jacuzzi for free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink plentiful. Lots of sun loungers. Optional organised sporting activities available like darts, table tennis, beach volleyball. Evening bar entertainment was good. Negatives: Sink blocked in our room. Showers flooded bathroom floor because of a huge gap between screen and wall. Bath water emptied back up out of drain onto bathroom floor! TV mainly in German with some French and Italian - no English. Food very "same-y" despite themed nights, with both hot and cold food not kept at correct temperature in buffet.

Nice beach and pool. Good activities. Great food. Spa & Wellness were a huge disappointment; we paid for the services, and the sauna was not hot at all, but colder than outside temperature (30 degrees celsius). Jacuzzi was freezing cold.

Es war ein kleines Hotel, schon sehr abgewohnt. Die letzte Renovierung scheint lange her zusein. Schön war die Umgebung, die Sauberkeit des Strandes, das klare Meer. Zu Fuß ein Spaziergang bis zum Fluss empfehlenswert. Unterwegs trifft man schöne Tavernen direkt am Strand, günstigere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Touren (weitaus günstiger als das Angebot im Hotel). Das Hotel an sich hat nicht viel geboten. Das animationsteam war unterdurchschnittlich. Jeden Tag dasselbe Programm. Im minuclub war so gut wie nie ein Kind. Das Mädchen auf dem Animationsteam hatte auch ganz offensichtlich keine Lust Kinder zu beschäftigen. Abends 30 min Minidisco mit zwei Mitarbeiter aus dem Animationsteam. Jeden Abend die gleiche Show. Für Kinder definitiv nicht empfehlenswert. Meine haben sich gelangweilt. Wasser gibt es nur in Plastikbechern. Füllen in die Flasche verboten. Deshalb haben wir unser Wasser in Flaschen gekauft. Bingo Spiel Teilnahme kostet extra , Gepäck wiegen kostet extra. Es gibt 3-4 Cocktails die man im all inklusive Paket bekommt, alles andere kostet extra. Griechischer Kaffee kostet extra. Strandrestaurant miserabel. Essen im Restaurant durchschnittlich. Der Pool war extrem unsauber. Alles in einem eine low Budget Unterkunft. Definitiv keine 5 Sterne wert, man muss jedoch trotzdem 10 Euro pro Nacht Klimasteuer für Luxusunterkunft bezahlen. Wir haben ein Schnäppchen gemacht. Hätte ich regulären preis bezahlt, wäre ich ziemlich enttäuscht gewesen.

Very cute family-style resort. The staff was super nice, always smiling, and willing to help. Every day, we had chairs by the pool and the beach. Highly recommended for families. They also had activities during the day.

Good hotel with unlimited food and drinks! Outside of the two hours in the main restaurant there are snacks on the beach bar and the pool bar. We got upgraded to a room with a private pool. It was very convenient with small children. Room is cleaned and bed sheets were changed every day. There was entertainment every night. The hotel could have better services like the near by resorts. Kids club is poor. There was supposed to be a program but in the end there was only mini disco at night.

Formule all inclusive avec restaurants à la carte inclus sur réservation préalable et chose rare un bar à vin permettant la dégustation et découverte de vins crétois. Le buffet est très varié et avec des mets de qualité. Accueil très professionnel et le personnel est toujours souriant et avenant. Une note particulière pour Marina à la Réception qui est bienveillante et qui veille à ce que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Seul bémol, les boissons de la formule all inclusive de base sont bas de gamme et beaucoup trop sucrées. Nous recommandons vivement cet hotel.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist wunderschön angelegt. Der mediterrane Flair ist einfach perfekt. Der Strand ist schön sauber und die Liegen am Strand, als auch am Pool sind sehr bequem. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht modern, trotzdem ist alles noch in einem guten Zustand. Der Zimmerreinigung hingegen ist mangelhaft. Jeden Tag wurde etwas anderes vergessen (Handtücher nicht 1 zu 1 ausgetauscht, Aschenbecher nicht gelehrt, neue Mülltüte vergessen). Einmal wurde sogar ein benutztes Handtuch, was offensichtlich nicht uns gehörte vergessen. Außerdem wurde unsere Balkontür immer offen gelassen (wir wohnten im Erdgeschoss, das geht gar nicht!). Auch das "Nicht stören" Schild wurde mehrfach missachtet. Hier muss dringend nachgelegt werden. Wir hatte im Großen und Ganzen aber einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Urlaub.

Hôtel très décevant qui n’a pas les standards d’un 5 étoiles. Il s’agit plutôt d’un 3 étoiles. L’hôtel n’a pas été rénové depuis un bon moment. Je n’ai pas pour habitude de laisser des avis mais l’expérience que nous avons vécu est vraiment décevante. Notre chambre avait une odeur de canalisation, pour rester poli. Malgré les multiples demandes auprès de l’hôtel pour résoudre le problème, nous avons changé de chambre seulement à mi-séjour. Ménage de la chambre qui n’est pas bien fait avec des consommables manquants, obligé d’aller chaque matin à l’accueil pour avoir une bouteille d’eau… Invasion de fourmis dans la nouvelle chambre au premier étage le dernier jour. Points positifs, la nourriture est bonne et la piscine intérieure est agréable.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, after all stay of 1 week, a couple + 2 toddlers The good: food- the chef is working hard to keep the guests pleased, salt water pool, proximity to the beach The bad: the hotel is outdated. The rooms are very outdated and so is the maintenance- during shower the drain is overflowing and foul smell fills the bathroom(when I told it to the receptionist- the answer I got was that that’s the way the plumbing is and there is nothing to do about it), cleaning level is bad- I especially placed an empty cup under the table on day one and it was still there by the end of our stay, balcony had a wasp nest and nothing was done about it too. Absolutely no entertainment for kids, pictures of the hotel show a playground- IRL I would give them a tetanus shot after playing there- filthy and unmaintained. animation crew was non existent. Bottom line- Lower your expectations before going there, we definitely won’t be back.

Rooms were clean. They accommodated my request to have my room and my friend’s room together. Staff was polite and kind. Over all hospital and 5star experience was with Madam Tonia, restaurant manager. Thanks for making my birthday memorable.

Decadent 3 stars hotel with awful food. Nice pool, but hidden from the beach. Nice beach, but not enought chairs. the room was good size and good bathroom, but sea view was limited. Don't pay extra. Several installations were broken and dirty. The kids club was a wood cabin with paper for kids to draw. Quite a lie. Swimming pool bathrooms were disgusting. There was 1 cm of dirty on the gym ventilator, that looked like was never cleaned.

The area around the pool, and the pool itself, was never cleaned during our two week stay. We asked the staff several times to clean, and although they promised to do so, nothing happened. The hotel is getting old and maintenance is not great. The food in the buffet restaurant was okay, but the food at the a la carte restaurant was very disappointing.

The Bella Beach Hotel in Crete is a charming all-inclusive resort. Our family enjoyed the stay, making use of the main pool and beautiful beach with convenient facilities. A really nice hotel, with excellent food, big clean rooms, and friendly staff. Nice sandy beach, with some rock plates off to the side in the water, comfortable beach beds. When it’s full, beach beds are very difficult to find, both on the beach and around the pool. Pool, pool bar and beach bar close at 6PM (18h), with more than two hours of sunshine left to enjoy (in July). Spa service is excellent! I can strongly recommend massage therapist Nick! Not a lot to do for kids, and nightly entertainment is low key.

Bien situé pour visiter l’est de la Crete, ce bel établissement, avec un personnel aimable, souriant et très professionnel reste à taille humaine, ce qui est très appréciable pour se détendre et se reposer. Plus points: Well laid-out hotel. Good spa service, including indoor heated spa pool, gym and jacuzzi for free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink plentiful. Lots of sun loungers. Optional organised sporting activities available like darts, table tennis, beach volleyball. Evening bar entertainment was good. Negatives: Sink blocked in our room. Showers flooded bathroom floor because of a huge gap between screen and wall. Bath water emptied back up out of drain onto bathroom floor! TV mainly in German with some French and Italian - no English. Food very "same-y" despite themed nights, with both hot and cold food not kept at correct temperature in buffet.

Ein hervorragendes Hotel, hier hat einfach alles gestimmt. Sehr schöne Lage, Zimmer zwar etwas älter aber sehr sauber. We arrived at the hotel and immediately they upgraded our room to a room with a private pool (very nice, but unfortunately not usable). Everything was perfect and appreciated. The food in the main room is excellent and with a wide selection, the chef is always there with a big smile. On the other hand, in the two restaurants, unfortunately, the food is not made on site, Just heats it up and serves it. It's a shame, because these are good quality products! Anyway, this is not a complaint, just sharing our feelings. We definitely recommend the place, and of course we will go back there soon!

Stayed here end of July 2024, we had a room with a private pool it was lovely, staff friendly and really couldnt do enough, the private beach was lovely and literally right on the door step, food was really good too, we had a night flight the day we left, so i paid for a late checkout, unfortunately we were unable to stay in the same room but they organised another lovely room with a private pool that we could use until late evening, also provided some lovely fruit and wine on the house! Thank you Bella Beach we had a lovely holiday and will definitely return x

Lovely hotel right on the beach. International buffet food available from early morning till late at night with plenty of options for the children and adults alike. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Bella Beach. Vor allem hat uns die Lage direkt am Strand begeistert - und die Liegen dort waren kostenfrei (hat man nicht oft, selbst bei All inklusive). Transfer vom Flughafen hin und zurück lief sehr organisiert ab - da hatten wir schon anderes erlebt. Wir haben auch dieses Jahr wieder unseren Urlaub in diesem Hotel verbracht und es war wieder sehr schön! Schon im Vorfeld wurde unserem Wunsch entsprochen, dasselbe Zimmer wie im letzten Jahr zu bekommen. Das hat uns sehr gefreut und zeigt, wie aufmerksam und bemüht das Team ist. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich, herzlich und professionell, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und geschätzt. Besonders gefällt uns, dass das Hotel kein großer, anonymer Komplex ist, sondern aus mehreren kleinen Häusern besteht. Diese Bauweise verleiht der Anlage eine charmante, fast dörfliche Atmosphäre mit viel Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Die Speisenauswahl war auch dieses Mal wieder sehr gut: abwechslungsreich, frisch und geschmackvoll. Für jeden etwas dabei. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt wäre der Rasen an unserem privaten Pool. Dieser hätte gerne gemäht sein dürfen. Das hat unseren positiven Gesamteindruck jedoch in keiner Weise getrübt. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal!

We spent a week at Bella Beach for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great and the area itself was safe. Would recommend spending time here, especially towards the end of Crete's busy season!

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, after all stay of 1 week, a couple + 2 toddlers The good: food- the chef is working hard to keep the guests pleased, salt water pool, proximity to the beach The bad: the hotel is outdated. The rooms are very outdated and so is the maintenance- during shower the drain is overflowing and foul smell fills the bathroom(when I told it to the receptionist- the answer I got was that that’s the way the plumbing is and there is nothing to do about it), cleaning level is bad- I especially placed an empty cup under the table on day one and it was still there by the end of our stay, balcony had a wasp nest and nothing was done about it too. Absolutely no entertainment for kids, pictures of the hotel show a playground- IRL I would give them a tetanus shot after playing there- filthy and unmaintained. animation crew was non existent. Bottom line- Lower your expectations before going there, we definitely won’t be back.

The management and staff made this one of the most memorable experiences we have had in a hotel,the chef Petros was amazing his food some of the best we have had this accompanied by the wait staff Tonya,Evi,Manos and Soula who could not have been more helpful. Overseen by Mr Apostolos who runs such a great team my thanks to them all for making our stay such a great experience.

From check in to check out we were made welcome all the staff went over and above to make certain their guests were taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing and the chef made sure everyone knew what his creations contained. I have no doubts that we shall be returning to this wonderful place.

We stayed at Bella Beach in October for my partner’s 25th birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating from beginning to end. They gave us an upgrade on your welcome which made our experience at Bell Beach even more better. Thank you to Katerina (Reservations & Front Office Manager) who communicated back and forth with me before my stay to make sure my requests were met. There was entertainment during the day and evening but during the day entertainment were repetitive, so I think that could do with some adjustments to make overall experience better. We would like to especially thank Chef Pedro for making our dining experience much better! There were a few dishes which were mainly pork which my partner does not eat, therefore, Chef Pedro did his best to accommodate to my partners needs and made some dishes for him when required. Many thanks for that, because not many hotels like to cater to your needs. Overall, our stay was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed it✨

La struttura in realtà non è un vero 5 stelle perché è datata e quindi da rimodernare ma come servizi assolutamente paragonabile a un 5 stelle. Il personale gentilissimo sempre disponibile per ogni richiesta, avendo prenotato con una bimba di 2 anni sono stati perfetti. La posizione perfetta, la spiaggia privata, piscina per adulti è una piccola per bambini. Il cibo vario ogni giorno e fresco. Ottima qualità prezzo, sicuramente lo consiglierei. Una pecca è l’area giochi bambini che potrebbe essere migliorata.

Bien situé pour visiter l’est de la Crete, ce bel établissement, avec un personnel aimable, souriant et très professionnel reste à taille humaine, ce qui est très appréciable pour se détendre et se reposer. Il possède une plage privée surveillée avec transats, propose tous les services nécessaires à la réception et dispose de plusieurs restaurants avec important choix de plats variés et composés de produits frais et locaux. L’hébergement est calme et spacieux (guestroom vue mer directe), la literie est de très bonne qualité, la salle de bain est pourvue de nombreux produits d’hygiène, nombreux rangements et balcon équipé avec table, chaises et étendoir à linge. Cependant, pour un 5 étoiles, nous aurions apprécié avoir des WC séparé.

We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. A couple of the noted facilities (mini golf etc.) are no longer available on site, but that didn't detract from our stay. The location is also good; 20mins drive from Heraklion airport and within 60-90mins of many of the popular attractions. Our only observation is that some guests may feel that the five-star rating is misleading, but I think that's possibly a subjective point. This is a quality hotel, but it isn't the high-end luxury that some might expect of five stars. However, it is still excellent and, frankly, suited us better as a family just the way it was.

We spent a week at Bella Beach for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great and the area itself was safe. Would recommend spending time here, especially towards the end of Crete's busy season!

Lovely hotel right on the beach. International buffet food available from early morning till late at night with plenty of options for the children and adults alike. Good selection of drinks available on the all inclusive package. We had a family room which was a good size. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Bella Beach. Vor allem hat uns die Lage direkt am Strand begeistert - und die Liegen dort waren kostenfrei (hat man nicht oft, selbst bei All inklusive). Das Essen war gut, hat uns nichts gefehlt und man konnte neben dem normalen Buffet auch zwei Restaurants im Hotel besuchen. Was für uns ein super Pluspunkt war, dass das Personal deutsch gesprochen hat und wir so einfacher kommunizieren konnten. Transfer vom Flughafen hin und zurück lief sehr organisiert ab - da hatten wir schon anderes erlebt. Das Einzige was uns aufgefallen ist - die Zimmer könnten vielleicht renoviert und modernisiert werden. Aber es war zu keinem Zeitpunkt unhygienisch oder dreckig. Wie können das Bella Beach auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

A really nice hotel, with excellent food, big clean rooms, and friendly staff. Nice sandy beach, with some rock plates off to the side in the water, comfortable beach beds. When it’s full, beach beds are very difficult to find, both on the beach and around the pool. Pool, pool bar and beach bar close at 6PM (18h), with more than two hours of sunshine left to enjoy (in July). Spa service is excellent! I can strongly recommend massage therapist Nick! Not a lot to do for kids, and nightly entertainment is low key.

Plus points: Well laid-out hotel. Good spa service, including indoor heated spa pool, gym and jacuzzi for free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink plentiful. Lots of sun loungers. Optional organised sporting activities available like darts, table tennis, beach volleyball. Evening bar entertainment was good. Negatives: Sink blocked in our room. Showers flooded bathroom floor because of a huge gap between screen and wall. Bath water emptied back up out of drain onto bathroom floor! TV mainly in German with some French and Italian - no English. Food very "same-y" despite themed nights, with both hot and cold food not kept at correct temperature in buffet.

Basic all inclusive hotel but food and drink were not tasty. we’re vegetarian and wished someone had warned us about the lack of food options for us. the mains in the buffet were always a bland spaghetti and we were lucky to get a vegetarian pizza. however the pool and proximity to the beach were great!

Schönes Hotel, freundliche Mitarbeiter und die Strandanlage ist direkt nebenan. Allerdings könnte die Qualität der Cocktails an den verschiedenen Bars, sowie auch die Qualität des Internets über der gesamten Hotelanlage verbessert werden.

The biggest thing that stood out to me was the amazing selection of food! There was so much to choose from at the buffet and it was mostly Greek themed which is what you want when visiting Greece! The food at the restaurants were also delicious. The beach was another highlight- there were plenty of chairs and sand was beautiful. We visited the spa and it was really good, worth the money! The only downside I can think of is that there was a lot of pushing to spend more money. We chose the all inclusive resort because we didn’t want to have to worry about going over budget, but you really get the bare minimum for the base price. There was a small menu of free drinks at the bar, others that you would have to pay for. At the first restaurant we visited we wanted to have the free Cretan red wine with our food but the waiter brought us a white wine that ended up costing 20 euros (it might have been a language barrier issue). And the main bar said it was open until 1am, but when we went after 11pm they said it “costs extra”. It wasn’t a big deal, just something I noticed. The staff though were very friendly and seemed to enjoy themselves which makes it more fun for everyone!

We stayed at Bella Beach in October for my partner’s 25th birthday and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating from beginning to end. They gave us an upgrade on your welcome which made our experience at Bell Beach even more better. Thank you to Katerina (Reservations & Front Office Manager) who communicated back and forth with me before my stay to make sure my requests were met. There was entertainment during the day and evening but during the day entertainment were repetitive, so I think that could do with some adjustments to make overall experience better. We would like to especially thank Chef Pedro for making our dining experience much better! There were a few dishes which were mainly pork which my partner does not eat, therefore, Chef Pedro did his best to accommodate to my partners needs and made some dishes for him when required. Many thanks for that, because not many hotels like to cater to your needs. Overall, our stay was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed it✨

Nous pensons que cet hôtel ressort plutôt d’un 3.5 voir peut être 4 étoiles mais certainement pas 5 étoiles. Au restaurant,la plupart des plats était froid. La crème glacée n’était pas bien réfrigérée et fondait à vue d’œil dans le buffet. Il manquait souvent d’assaisonnement. Le choix de la nourriture était correct mais nous avions tregûierement la même chose, à part quelques petit plats. Pour les cocktails, plusieurs ne goûtait rien. Pour la plage et la piscine, il faudrait plus de parasol. Énormément de gens réservait leur trsnssat dès le matin mais n’allait pas à la piscine ni à la plage, donc personnes ne pouvait prendre les transat. Les chambres étaient correct mais devrait être modernisée. Pour la salle de bain, impossible le de prendre une douche sans tout inonder. Concernant l’animation le soir, franchement la mini disco était ridicule. Une mascotte et un jeu de lumière ajouterait beaucoup d’ambiance. La musique était qu’en allemand. Et ça, c’était quand il y avait la mini disco car deux jours de suite, personne n’est venu. Concernant les événements pour les adultes le soir… il faudrait arranger le micro car ça faisait très ordinaire et pas professionnel du tout. Il manque beaucoup de standing pour arriver à 5*

The place itself is closely located to the beach. and its either 15 or 20 minuttes by taxi to the next town. The hotel is a little bit old and the facilities needed enhancement. Maybe a water fountain for childen to play would have been nice.

Beautiful hotel, very well located. At first glance, you might feel a bit of envy when arriving on site, as the hotel is surrounded by larger and more modern resorts. However, Bella Beach offers everything a family with young children could need. The buffet is exceptionally good, so in my opinion there’s no real need to book the à la carte restaurants. The only downside of our stay was a small issue with the air conditioning. That said, the staff is truly friendly, and I highly recommend this place.

The hotel left a very pleasant overall impression, and we were happy with our stay. The food was delicious and genuinely varied — there were new dishes every day, so it never really became repetitive during our stay. The hotel and its grounds were very clean and well maintained, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special mention goes to the housekeeping service, which was excellent. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and fresh towels were provided daily as well. The level of cleanliness throughout our stay was really impressive. There are three bars on the property where you can have unlimited drinks as part of the all-inclusive package. The only downside is that the alcohol is quite average in quality, and many of the drinks do not seem to be original brands. However, as far as I understand, this is quite common in many all-inclusive hotels. The beach is beautiful, the sunbeds are very comfortable, and although there are quite a lot of people, you generally do not feel disturbed by others. The only slightly annoying thing is that some guests reserve sunbeds with towels early in the morning and leave them occupied for most of the day. There are three swimming pools on the property. The main pool is absolutely wonderful! The water is incredibly pleasant, soft, and very clean — swimming there is a real pleasure. Next to the pool there is also a small restaurant where you can grab another meal or snack
