Property was very nice…..front and side steps were a little difficult without a rail….but overall a good experience. We had the “blues” room and the bathroom was totally renovated very nicely.

Fabulously restored Mission Revival home but appointed for guest comfort. QUIET ceiliing AC Beautiful original stained glass windows throughout the home. Great front veranda perfect for evening cocktails. Host lives onsite and so welcoming. Comfortable King bed, lots of towels, strongly recommend to the ‘pickiest’ of BnB traveler. You won’t be disappointed!

The home was beautiful. However, the hospitality was lacking compared to any other B&B I have been to. The breakfast was NOTHING like the beautiful breakfast shown on the website. We planned to go swimming, but the grass by the pool was about 2 feet high. A very disappointing experience.

The property is delightful, the room was spacious, the foyer sitting areas were roomy and comfortable, the owner/manager was courteous and helpful, the bed was extremely comfortable, the flooring and bathrooms were beautiful, the tv channels were plentiful, and the breakfast served by Noel was the best we've had at a B&B. Extremely pleased with our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of space in our room and access to a kitchen area. Easy check in process. Close to downtown and the sports complex. Would recommend if you are looking for a stay in Vicksburg.

Check in easy, we were directed to Fannie room which was really nice and spacious. Coffee percolator in the room with a fridge freezer. Told us about the house and area. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Love the kitchen area for guests with water, soft drinks, cold tea and some snacks provided. I wish we’d left Memphis a night earlier and stayed here an extra night, there’s so much to see in the area and it felt much safer than Memphis. Would I stay here again? Definitely Would I recommend to a friend? Absolutely.

Elizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience. The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and fun to interact with Staff and guests.

Our room was extremely comfortable. home is beautiful inside but looks a little sad from the outside so we were pleasantly surprised. Had a good size pool in back although we didn’t use it. I asked for eggs instead of french toast and it looked a little lonely on the plate at first. They did bring me toast afterwards. Bed and room were exceptional .

Oak Hall is a gorgeous, well kept historical home! It is very clean with no musty odor! Our bed was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the nice bathroom. The shower had great water pressure! Would have appreciated someone there to greet us on arrival; assuring us we were at the right place & showing us our room. We ate breakfast when it was first available but the eggs and bacon were warm, not hot. Biscuits were fresh and delicious! We were happy to meet our host in the morning and learn a bit more about Oak Hall! Overall a great place to see and feel Vicksburg! Larry & Shirley

We had a wonderful stay at Oak Hall. Elizabeth and her mom, Nancy, made us feel right at home. They were helpful with ideas of things to do and where to dine. Maria had done a great job with cleaning and having needed items in our room. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The air conditioner worked well and kept us very cool for July in Mississippi. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Elizabeth put a lot of thought and time in preparing a pleasing menu of unique flavors. I highly recommend Oak Hall.

This is a wonderful B and B! Great air conditioning, and a great shower! Everything was extremely clean, the bed was fantastic and the house was beautiful. The owner was also extremely nice and responsive! Breakfast with the other guests was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and again!

Oak Hill was a great choice for our stay in historic Vicksburg. Check in was so easy. The room was spacious and spotless. Fluffy towels and a comfortable bed are essential and Oak Hill had both. The house is beautiful and the morning breakfast was delicious. Owner Elizabeth told us they will be installing a pool next year so we'll need a return trip.

Oak Hill was a great choice for our stay in historic Vicksburg. Check in was so easy. The room was spacious and spotless. Fluffy towels and a comfortable bed are essential and Oak Hill had both. The house is beautiful and the morning breakfast was delicious. Owner Elizabeth told us they will be installing a pool next year so we'll need a return trip.

This was our third stay at Oak Hall, and it never disappoints. The property is gorgeous, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed. We stayed in the 3rd floor attic on this visit, and while it's not as grand as the other rooms, it is cozy, delightful and comfortable. Breakfast is always amazing and delicious, and Elizabeth was very gracious, even though I broke her husband's favorite coffee mug!

If you are staying in Vicksburg then look no further. This is the best property in the city. It has everything you want in a great stay. The house itself is stunning, the historic epitome of style and grace. The rooms throughout were decorated beautifully. Our room (The Fannie Suite) on the 2nd floor was large with a king size bed, high ceiling, beautiful stained-glass windows, fireplace, dresser, chairs, end tables, and a coffee bar-a spacious room. 5 windows with darkening shades kept the Mississippi sun at bay. Big comfy blankets and pillows. It was on a very quiet street and parking was great on the property. Roku TV with all the channels. Loved the bathroom-great water pressure in the shower! Elizabeth sent an email before arrival explaining everything you would need to know about the check in process, TV, parking, house location, password, dinner / activity recommendations, and breakfast times. However, she was there personally to greet us, and she was the perfect hostess. We really felt welcomed. Breakfast was more than continental with coffee (also a Keurig in each room), juice, several types of fresh pastries, fruit, granola bars, yogurt and hot breakfast sandwiches. Location is ideal. We were literally 5-10 minutes from everyplace we planned to visit, shop and eat! Walk downtown Washington Street for great food, gifts and hospitality. Bottom Line - 10 Stars – it is the place to stay in Vicksburg for a wonderful city experience.

Beautiful home and gracious host. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable beds. The only negative comment was the room we stayed in. Three girlfriends so needed a room to accommodate the three of us. It was the attic room and it looked like it had been thrown together and not finished but we still enjoyed it!

Stunning house with the most gorgeous stained glass windows and incredible breakfast! We stayed at 3 different places in Vicksburg and this was our favorite. We stayed in the King Louis suite. The bed was big and comfortable, the room was huge. There’s a huge sitting area outside of the rooms as well. They served shrimp and grits for breakfast and some type of bread pudding type thing with apples in it maybe? And I wish I had asked for the recipe for the toast. The toast had Parmesan cheese or something on it with herbs and was crusted to perfection. Better food than any other restaurants we went to there. Next time this is the only place we will stay. Loved it!

We found this place to stay instead of a hotel during our weekend of my kids soccer tournament. It was close to downtown and the sports complex. We stayed in the rustic room in the attic and it was plenty of space for two adults and two kids. We enjoyed the breakfast and the space! We would definitely stay again! Comfy beds, too!

We had a wonderful stay at Oak Hall. Elizabeth and her mom, Nancy, made us feel right at home. They were helpful with ideas of things to do and where to dine. Maria had done a great job with cleaning and having needed items in our room. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The air conditioner worked well and kept us very cool for July in Mississippi. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Elizabeth put a lot of thought and time in preparing a pleasing menu of unique flavors. I highly recommend Oak Hall.

Completely recommend this property. Very clean and felt safe here. My opinion on the bed was too hard but my husband felt like it was just right. My only real issue was that you aren’t emailed check in instructions. We had to hunt down the girl who turned out to be in the back yard.

The property is delightful, the room was spacious, the foyer sitting areas were roomy and comfortable, the owner/manager was courteous and helpful, the bed was extremely comfortable, the flooring and bathrooms were beautiful, the tv channels were plentiful, and the breakfast served by Noel was the best we've had at a B&B. Extremely pleased with our stay!

Check in easy, we were directed to Fannie room which was really nice and spacious. Coffee percolator in the room with a fridge freezer. Told us about the house and area. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Love the kitchen area for guests with water, soft drinks, cold tea and some snacks provided. I wish we’d left Memphis a night earlier and stayed here an extra night, there’s so much to see in the area and it felt much safer than Memphis. Would I stay here again? Definitely Would I recommend to a friend? Absolutely.

Very nice facility with a great staff. Unfortunately we did not get to experience all it had to offer as there was a power outage in the area. One of the owners, Elizabeth was kind enough to refund our stay without being prompted. This is truly great customer service. Would highly recommend Oak Hall BnB

We enjoyed staying in this lovely historic mansion in Vicksburg, Mississippi. We only stayed one night, in the 3rd floor attic room with a king bed and a queen bed. Our toddler had a BLAST climbing two flights of stairs every time we entered/exited out room haha. Noelle's hospitality at breakfast was top-notch and made my day. I'd totally stay here again.

This is my second time staying at Oak Hall, a beautifully restored 3-story home in an historic neighborhood that is a few minutes from I-10, downtown Vicksburg, and the Mississippi. The house is gorgeous--natural wood, stained glass, high ceilings--and the decor & furniture are both period appropriate and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is tasty and enhanced by the quality of the conversation with other guests. Overall a quality and luxurious lodging experience with breakfast for less than the price of a Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard by Marriott. Highly recommended.

Oak Hall was a lovely little BnB on our route to our destination. I normally wouldn’t have booked a BnB, esp for one night but the reviews for all of the hotels in the area were awful, rated as unclean, etc. We were happy with our choice and would definitely stay again! The home was clean, comfortable and the neighborhood was so quiet! Definitely give them a chance in you’re in the area!

Elizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience. The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and fun to interact with Staff and guests.

Oak Hall is a gorgeous, well kept historical home! It is very clean with no musty odor! Our bed was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the nice bathroom. The shower had great water pressure! Would have appreciated someone there to greet us on arrival; assuring us we were at the right place & showing us our room. We ate breakfast when it was first available but the eggs and bacon were warm, not hot. Biscuits were fresh and delicious! We were happy to meet our host in the morning and learn a bit more about Oak Hall! Overall a great place to see and feel Vicksburg! Larry & Shirley

This home has a rich history, is beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The guest rooms are large and well equipped for an older home. Our room had a modern, updated bathroom and a Kuerig coffee maker. The outside areas are wonderful-we sat in the evening with a glass of wine. Elizabeth, the host, is gracious and gave us several great suggestions for places to eat. Janice was terrific. One morning she told us all about the history of the house and the original owners. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is my opinion of breakfast. Any B & B I’ve stayed at breakfast was plated and served. Here it was “help yourselves”. I don’t mind but I was confused the first morning & had to ask other guests what to do. Most of the breakfasts were good, but we didn’t care for the couple southern breakfasts. They’re nice to taste but I would’ve liked a more traditional option as well. All in all , you’ll love staying here.

The home was beautiful. However, the hospitality was lacking compared to any other B&B I have been to. The breakfast was NOTHING like the beautiful breakfast shown on the website. We planned to go swimming, but the grass by the pool was about 2 feet high. A very disappointing experience.

Stunning house with the most gorgeous stained glass windows and incredible breakfast! We stayed at 3 different places in Vicksburg and this was our favorite. We stayed in the King Louis suite. The bed was big and comfortable, the room was huge. There’s a huge sitting area outside of the rooms as well. They served shrimp and grits for breakfast and some type of bread pudding type thing with apples in it maybe? And I wish I had asked for the recipe for the toast. The toast had Parmesan cheese or something on it with herbs and was crusted to perfection. Better food than any other restaurants we went to there. Next time this is the only place we will stay. Loved it!

Superb “old-time” boutique hotel, originally built in 1910. Lots of character, but still with modern conveniences. The manager/chef is an extremely nice lady. Breakfast was phenomenal. Well worth the cost!

Nice old place in decent shape. The breakfasts were wonderful. Not having someone there, other than the lady who came in to cook and serve breakfast, was somewhat of a negative, as we would have liked to ask questions, especially in the evenings, about places to eat and things to do. Also, a bathtub/shower, with no really hard-mounted grab bars, is not really good for seniors
