Nupan Deluxe is simply as-advertised. Comfortable, conveniently located to the airport and downtown Keflavik. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Probably most important - we missed the notice to arrange our early (5 am) shuttle to the airport the night before. When I called our host at 4:45 am (!) he picked up immediately and shuttling us was "no problem." We highly recommend Nupan Deluxe.

Close to the airport and convenient. I had requested twin beds and we were given a queen. Bed was tucked away in a remodeled closet and the room was very warm. Tough for older people to climb stairs with heavy suitcases. I had a medical emergency to deal with in the morning and eventually received attention at the airport.

The extra bathroom in lobby is nice to have. Tea and instant coffee and biscuits 24/7 in lobby also nice. I appreciated having all the info I needed to enter and exit without having to ask for anything. Airport shuttle at 6 am was wonderful!

Very good stay. Homey! The only problem is the confusing information about airport shuttle. Several places on Expedia it says there is a free shuttle to and from the airport. This is wrong! They will NOT pick you up from the airport. They will only take you to the airport, and basically only for a 2 hour window in the morning. Not very accommodating.

The room was larger than expected with a kitchenette which we also didn't expect but was nice to have. Even without that there were common areas for preparing food. Nice bathrobes provided. Eclectic but tasteful decorations. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants. Even though we communicated through the messaging system with hotels.com about the airport shuttle we never got the code to get in the front door. So we changed our plans and arrived at 14:30pm to make sure we could get in. It took several minutes of pushing buttons next to the door to get someone to talk to us on the intercom to let us know the code. Also, we chose the hotel based on free shuttle to the airport. Hotels.com says free shuttle from 5:30-8:00 am but they charge 10€ for anytime outside of 5:00 am- 7:00am.

Very comfortable and relaxing. Appreciated the facilities for making tea and coffee, and the cosy dressing gown for visiting the shared bathroom. Very convenient for the airport (with free shuttle) and also easy walking distance to several restaurants. A perfect, good value location for a last night after a strenuous sightseeing trip around Iceland.

Simple but effective little guest house conveniently placed right by the airport. Both owners were extremely accommodating and provided excellent hospitality during my 2 night stay. Great way to start my trip and I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to drive a bunch right after getting off of a long flight. Simple breakfast provided and extremely clean.

We arrived in the middle of the night, everything was prepared for us and everything went smoothly. The next morning we met the owners and they always have an open ear for you, if it is problems or tips for your vacation. Great first night in Iceland!

Really nice house, great location, easy check in, 5 minutes from the airport, which was really convenient for my early morning flight, yet the neighborhood was a place I would enjoy spending time in even if it weren’t close to the airport. Definitely recommend.

Nupan Deluxe is simply as-advertised. Comfortable, conveniently located to the airport and downtown Keflavik. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Probably most important - we missed the notice to arrange our early (5 am) shuttle to the airport the night before. When I called our host at 4:45 am (!) he picked up immediately and shuttling us was "no problem." We highly recommend Nupan Deluxe.

Only spent one night there but it worked perfect for an early flight in the AM. Super convenient location, spotlessly clean. I particularly appreciated how well organized the self check-in process was coordinated.

if you like quiet you will find it here. the downside is that it is a long way to the touristy stuff unless you have your own vehicle.

The extra bathroom in lobby is nice to have. Tea and instant coffee and biscuits 24/7 in lobby also nice. I appreciated having all the info I needed to enter and exit without having to ask for anything. Airport shuttle at 6 am was wonderful!

The room was larger than expected with a kitchenette which we also didn't expect but was nice to have. Even without that there were common areas for preparing food. Nice bathrobes provided. Eclectic but tasteful decorations. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants. Even though we communicated through the messaging system with hotels.com about the airport shuttle we never got the code to get in the front door. So we changed our plans and arrived at 14:30pm to make sure we could get in. It took several minutes of pushing buttons next to the door to get someone to talk to us on the intercom to let us know the code. Also, we chose the hotel based on free shuttle to the airport. Hotels.com says free shuttle from 5:30-8:00 am but they charge 10€ for anytime outside of 5:00 am- 7:00am.

Simple but effective little guest house conveniently placed right by the airport. Both owners were extremely accommodating and provided excellent hospitality during my 2 night stay. Great way to start my trip and I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to drive a bunch right after getting off of a long flight. Simple breakfast provided and extremely clean.

Very comfortable and relaxing. Appreciated the facilities for making tea and coffee, and the cosy dressing gown for visiting the shared bathroom. Very convenient for the airport (with free shuttle) and also easy walking distance to several restaurants. A perfect, good value location for a last night after a strenuous sightseeing trip around Iceland.

Very clean and quiet. We arrived before 10AM and they were willing to do our room up right away. Kitchen, dining room, bathroom, hot tub, and common spaces well maintained and clean. Would stay there again.

For a self-catering hotel, this place exceeded all our expectations. It's clean, quiet, well-maintained, and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The owners seem to go out of their way to make things work well and take great pride in their business. The whole self-check in was also straightforward and easy and all the answers to your questions are provided in a convenient booklet you receive upon arrival. For what we paid (by Iceland standards) we received excellent value, overall. Highly recommended.

Only about a 10 minute taxi ride from KEF. I spent one night as part of the Icelandair stopover offer returning to the US from Norway. This location was perfect as I was in Keflavík for under 24 hours. Within 10 minutes walking you’re at the harbor and lots of statues and other monuments with signage and descriptions, street art nearby. Bónus supermarket 3 minute walk. The kitchen had nice amenities to be used and even some basic items that folks could share or leave for future guests. The room was a perfect size not too big not too small. Shared bathrooms worked out well. Once you enter the building, leave your outside shoes there on the mat. There was some noise with people entering and leaving, but with earplugs it’s remedied. The check-in process went really well and easy as they sent me a door code to enter. Upon arrival, they had a binder with my name on it. Every staff member I encountered was really helpful and welcoming. The hot tub is private to the property, but shared by everyone. It was not full/on but they were willing to put it on if I had wanted to, which I did not. I definitely would stay there again if I found myself in Keflavík.
