Live in Old City Bern, nur wenige Schritte von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt

Perfect apartment for our stay in Bern. Quiet location, despite being right by many sights, about 10 minute walk to train station. There is a nice restaurant and a bakery steps away from the main entrance to the building. Decorated beautifully with old and new accents. Books, travel guides in the flat are nice touch. Sara was very kind and accommodating and quick to respond when I had an issue starting the washer (shared washer with the 2 other apartments on the ground floor). The 3rd floor tight spiral staircase may be an issue for some folks with mobility issues. But check out their listings on the first and second floor. Sara graciously showed us the second floor apartment, and it is gorgeous! Comfortable bed and sofa bed; we used both and slept well. Kitchen is outfitted nicely, the only thing we wanted was ice cube trays :) Coffee, creamers and chocolate provided! One reviewer mentioned petty rules-- but I found the "rules" to be common sense-- remove your shoes when you enter the apartment, use exhaust fan when cooking. We would stay here again.

This apartment in the heart of Bern was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Sara and Rob were clear in all their communications and provided excellent resources for using the equipment in the kitchen or even where to have dinner. This was such a lovely place and excellent stay overall.

Location of the apt is awesome if you are looking to visit old town Bern. The famous clock tower is just around the corner. The cathedral just down the block. Restaurants all over the place, and groceries just a short walk. The only thing I would say is the apt is 3 stories up an old spiral staircase. So elderly people or someone with luggage or kids might think twice before picking this apt. Otherwise it was great for us (only backpacks) and the owner Rob was very nice.
