The goodish: The room was fairly clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. There's DARNED good pizza at Buzzy's, about a mile toward I-90. The bad: I requested a ground floor room because my dog is spooked by elevators. Instead I got a third floor room - the top floor - and had to repeatedly go up and down two flights of stairs with her on a leash. Gee, thanks. The breakfast? Yeah, it was there: greasy sausage and rubbery eggs. And there was no hot coffee at 6:15 AM, just a batch of cold stuff left over from the day before (and not even a microwave to reheat it). The neighborhood can best be describes as "sketchy." The Ugly: desk staff, when you could find them, were glued to their phones instead of waiting on people. The whole place reeked of that deodorizer that bad hotels use to cover up dirty carpets and whatever other sins are there.

Staff was really kind. Breakfast was a basic hot breakfast, but good. It’s near a lot of shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was connecting to WiFi, but that might have been user error.

We unfortunately elected to leave this hotel shortly after arrival. There was a smoky/musty smell in the hallways which became very strong when we got into our room. The odor made me feel unwell and I didn't feel like I could comfortably sleep there. I suspect the hotel used to be smoker-friendly, though our room was listed as non-smoking. The gentleman at the front desk was courteous and offered to move us to a new room, but after a very long day of travel we didn't want to play room roulette. We moved to another hotel nearby and found it to be more fresh and comfortable.
