Marè is an amazing and fascinating building, perfectly located for the harbour and restaurants. Very comfortable rooms, although our ‘courtyard view’ was more of a brick wall which made the room a little dark. Breakfast served on the roof terrace was delicious with lots of choice of savoury and sweet pastries, bread, cold cheese, meats and fruit. It was disappointing that the roof top Solanza and spa area was closed and we were not aware of this before our stay.

We had to complain and were only then offered a more suitable option. The reason we booked Mare Resort was because the name suggests something more than we got, while the description and photos in Hotel.com advised a Terrace, solarium, private beach, sun loungers and beach towels, none of which were available. Mare Resort failed in so many ways to match the description on the Hotels.com platform which enticed us to pay above our normal rate, and we were greatly let down by Hotel.com, and are entitled to a refund.

Un hôtel qui a dû être beau… personnel peu aimable, informations contradictoires (ex : on peut garer sa voiture devant l’hôtel… et puis non, juste pour déposer les bagages, le petit dej commence à 7h… et puis non, c’est 7h30) Chambre spacieuse mais fenêtre au ras des pieds ! Jolie salle de bains. Plage privée mais il faut la voiture. Solarium inutilisable… complètement destroy sur le toit terrasse.

Die Unterkunft als ehemaliger Palazzo ist etwas besonderes und hat Charme. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal war nett. Die Lage ist super, wenn man aus dem Hotel rausgeht, ist man direkt im Geschehen drin. Der Ort bietet auch sehr viel (Restaurants, Cafés, Shopping etc.). Mir persönlich hat an der Unterkunft jedoch ein Balkon, ein Pool und die Möglichkeit Abends im Hotel zu essen gefehlt.

L hôtel est très bien situé mais dans une zone où vous ne pouvez pas accéder vous même en voiture. Heureusement il y a un service voiturier. La décoration est sobre et contemporaine dans un bâtiment authentique. Grande chambre calme et très bon service. Malheureusement la terrasse n est plus ouverte. Il n y donc ni bar en roof top ni restauration.

L’hôtel n’est pas accessible en voiture car il est situé dans une zone ZTL. Le parking de l’hôtel est payant (25€) mais vous trouverez des places dans les rues alentours en zone bleue( payantes). L’hôtel a beaucoup de charme face à la Marina Très bien situé vers les restaurants. Bel hôtel.

While the hotel was modern and very central, and the staff was very friendly, we ran into some major issues during our stay. The WiFi did not work in our room or anywhere in our floor. We reported this shortly after our arrival but were told to try again later. The problem persisted throughout the night and on the next morning, and when we reported this to a staff member - they admitted that they had a problem and promised to have it solved “within 30 minutes”. Unfortunately this was never fixed until our checkout. Since cellular reception at the hotel is also very weak - we had no internet connection during our entire stay. Another problem was that the shower in our room did not drain, but instead flooded the entire bathroom. Overall this is a good hotel, but maintenance issues should be resolved and staff should learn to address such problems when they occur.

The staff was amazing - kind and courteous The Locations was fantastic with a view to the port from our large very clean and comfortable room . Parking was easy behind the hotel and very cheap using the on street machine I will return for sure !

Struttura storica affascinante che si affaccia sul golfo di Trani, ma la struttura dovrà adeguarsi alla categoria di appartenenza. ho segnalato in reception tutti i punti che riporterò, - riscontrata mancanza di pulizia dei pavimenti in camera, con presenza di polvere e capelli. - guarnizioni abbastanza usurate della doccia, l’acqua defluiva all’esterno copiosamente, valutare anche gli scarichi. - interruttore applique non funzionante su luce di cortesia accanto al letto. - mancanza di amenities a marchio Culti, pur pubblicizzando la marca negli spazzi dell’albergo e i camera, al suo posto presenti flaconi non monouso a marchio Omia. - scarso assortimento della scelta dei prodotti da colazione, non adeguato per la categoria. Stanza molto ampia e accogliente. Il bagno ti faceva venir voglia di abitarci e i prodotti per l'igiene erano di ottima qualità. Fantastica la possibilità di usufruire della terrazza con la possibilità di servirsi di bevande e gelati a tua scelta. Consigliatissimo!

Gefallen hat uns die zentrale Lage. Weniger gefallen hat uns, dass wir ein Zimmer zur Straße, und nicht das gebuchte Zimmer nach hinten erhielten. Die Nachtruhe war durch Discolärm gestört.

While the hotel was modern and very central, and the staff was very friendly, we ran into some major issues during our stay. The WiFi did not work in our room or anywhere in our floor. We reported this shortly after our arrival but were told to try again later. The problem persisted throughout the night and on the next morning, and when we reported this to a staff member - they admitted that they had a problem and promised to have it solved “within 30 minutes”. Unfortunately this was never fixed until our checkout. Since cellular reception at the hotel is also very weak - we had no internet connection during our entire stay. Another problem was that the shower in our room did not drain, but instead flooded the entire bathroom. Overall this is a good hotel, but maintenance issues should be resolved and staff should learn to address such problems when they occur.

Tutto perfetto, il personale è gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. L’hotel offre un soggiorno perfetto per chi voglia farsi coccolare. Ci tornerò certamente.

Un hôtel qui a dû être beau… personnel peu aimable, informations contradictoires (ex : on peut garer sa voiture devant l’hôtel… et puis non, juste pour déposer les bagages, le petit dej commence à 7h… et puis non, c’est 7h30) Chambre spacieuse mais fenêtre au ras des pieds ! Jolie salle de bains. Plage privée mais il faut la voiture. Solarium inutilisable… complètement destroy sur le toit terrasse.

Gefallen hat uns die zentrale Lage. Weniger gefallen hat uns, dass wir ein Zimmer zur Straße, und nicht das gebuchte Zimmer nach hinten erhielten. Die Nachtruhe war durch Discolärm gestört.

Marè is an amazing and fascinating building, perfectly located for the harbour and restaurants. Very comfortable rooms, although our ‘courtyard view’ was more of a brick wall which made the room a little dark. Breakfast served on the roof terrace was delicious with lots of choice of savoury and sweet pastries, bread, cold cheese, meats and fruit. It was disappointing that the roof top Solanza and spa area was closed and we were not aware of this before our stay.

L’hôtel n’est pas accessible en voiture car il est situé dans une zone ZTL. Le parking de l’hôtel est payant (25€) mais vous trouverez des places dans les rues alentours en zone bleue( payantes). L’hôtel a beaucoup de charme face à la Marina Très bien situé vers les restaurants. Bel hôtel.

Die Unterkunft als ehemaliger Palazzo ist etwas besonderes und hat Charme. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal war nett. Die Lage ist super, wenn man aus dem Hotel rausgeht, ist man direkt im Geschehen drin. Der Ort bietet auch sehr viel (Restaurants, Cafés, Shopping etc.). Mir persönlich hat an der Unterkunft jedoch ein Balkon, ein Pool und die Möglichkeit Abends im Hotel zu essen gefehlt.
Die Unterkunft als ehemaliger Palazzo ist etwas besonderes und hat Charme. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal war nett. Struttura storica affascinante che si affaccia sul golfo di Trani, ma la struttura dovrà adeguarsi alla categoria di appartenenza. ho segnalato in reception tutti i punti che riporterò, - riscontrata mancanza di pulizia dei pavimenti in camera, con presenza di polvere e capelli. - guarnizioni abbastanza usurate della doccia, l’acqua defluiva all’esterno copiosamente, valutare anche gli scarichi. - interruttore applique non funzionante su luce di cortesia accanto al letto. - mancanza di amenities a marchio Culti, pur pubblicizzando la marca negli spazzi dell’albergo e i camera, al suo posto presenti flaconi non monouso a marchio Omia. - scarso assortimento della scelta dei prodotti da colazione, non adeguato per la categoria. We were very much looking forward to our stay at the Mare Resort but unfortunately our four nights were ruined as the hotel was being used to support the build of a massive stage and other supporting infrastructure for a concert outside the front door of the hotel. The noise and disruption to our use of the hotel as guests was totally unacceptable. We received no prior warning that there may be this level of disruption to enable us to review our booking which again is totally unacceptable behaviour on the part of the hotel owners who we assume profited from renting space and rooms to the concert organisers. On this basis the hotel should have been closed to normal guests and rented totally to the concert organisers. Other comments: 1. We were denied access to the hotel by concert security staff on a number of occasions and had to negotiate our way in! 2. Breakfast was very low quality produce served in a dimly lit meeting room with no outside windows. 3. The lifts were not working for extended periods. 4. Sound and lighting equipment were all over the place being moved to the third floor. 5. The only positive were the staff who were very apologetic and to be honest appeared embarrassed that paying guests were treated so badly.

Brilliant staff, very helpful and friendly…they truly made a difference. Plus, the Hotel is truly unique and very historic in the middle of Trani. We loved every second of our stay and highly recommend it to anybody who loves history, elegance, and a relaxing atmosphere.
