Be warned that this area is under construction and it makes dropping your luggage off and getting to this hotel a bit of a nightmare. The location is great BUT what is about the only good thing about this hotel. Very uncomfortable beds and I can sleep on just about everything. Front desk staff do not help you with your luggage which is normally not a problem for me but with the current condition of check in it would be very helpful. For the money you pay for this place I would hope for a bit better. Cannot beat the location if the rest are not important to you but also consider construction noise if you like to sleep in which we did not so no problem for us.

The hotel was very inconvenient. We had to park in a garage several blocks away. No air conditioning which made it very uncomfortable. Refrigerator was small. No microwave in room. Expensive for what we got.

Hotel has an excellent location but unfortunately they are tearing up the street outside the front door which makes it very inconvenient to get from the garage to the front door. Room was clean but street noise made opening the windows at night (no A/C) impractical so room was a little warm.

No parking and the staff at front desk instructed me to park at bear street parking (not bear st parkade) and google maps took me to bear street parking lot he also failed to inform us it is pay parking so operating under the poor assumption it was free to hotel patrons i never gave it a second thought and ended up with a ticket

Pro: Hotel is in great location, right in the center of town. Cons: Hotel does not have on-site parking, parking garage (need key access) is two blocks away and since the main street is closed, there is no street parking in front so bringing in luggage is a struggle. Staff does help when needed. Also there is no AC in the building, my room was over 30C (about 90F) both nights.

Location is great as it right on Banff avenue and you can walk to all the places, however you have to park in the adjacent garage as hotel doesn’t have any parking. Rating it as 3 because the towel in the bathroom was worn and torn. I have been traveling for 30 years and have never seen this thing in any of the hotels even the cheaper ones.

Unfortunately, due to street construction, the parking lot was a challenge to get to and from. More of a concern was the unexpected noise from the street, until 3 AM. Nothing the hotel can do about that, but it did make for short nights of sleep. Otherwise, the folks at reception were great and it was a very nice, usable room, in a location convenient to almost everything in town.

Unfortunately, due to street construction, the parking lot was a challenge to get to and from. More of a concern was the unexpected noise from the street, until 3 AM. Nothing the hotel can do about that, but it did make for short nights of sleep. Otherwise, the folks at reception were great and it was a very nice, usable room, in a location convenient to almost everything in town.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, good location. It was fine for one night but the bed was not very comfortable. Bedding was very low quality, especially the pillows which were also too small/weird size for a queen bed. Guests should also note that the street where the loading zone for check in would be, is closed to vehicles in the summer months.

Great location in downtown Banff. It was appreciated they put us in a room closest to the elevator since we were travelling with our dog. The food dish and dog bed provided were a nice touch. While the building is quite old it was a pleasant surprise to see the room updated and very clean.

No parking without walking with baggage through town so be prepared for that as well as loud noise all through the night well after 2am. Windows must be open due to no air conditioning. Definitely bring your ear plugs. They did have a small fan for air circulation. Ceiling light came on multiple times all through the night for some reason. The ceiling fan has a remote control light. Had to end up unscrewing the bulbs so it would stop. Not a great nights sleep at all

Gothic style from the outside but full Interior is dated, ceiling fan and heater not working, we only use table top fan for 2 days, incomplete bathroom/washroom miscellaneous like hair dryer as well as small considering top spots for tourist looks like require some facelift. The room too small for our group and dark ambience however Yogit was so nice to accommodate our booking request for an additional folding bed and towels. Daily rate value is not worth since there was no breakfast available only coffee station inside your room. Since they have no front desk on site for 24 hrs you have to prepare returnable cash deposits for main entrance door key to be able to enter after 12 midnight and another deposit for closed parking door ($110). Pros, it was located in the heart of Banff Avenue, steps from all amenities, attractions and shops, secured and covered parking space. In my opinion, for its price you can find better and newer option within surrounding areas and recommend to book several months ahead of your trip.

The location can't be beat; it is the center of downtown. The ice maker was not working. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful, but are often away from the reception area doing other tasks. The room was clean and simple with a few signs of wear and tear.

So glad we stayed here in downtown Banff. EVERYTHING was right outside the front door. We did not mind parking a block away. Hotel staff were very helpful.

The location is great BUT what is about the only good thing about this hotel. Very uncomfortable beds and I can sleep on just about everything. Front desk staff do not help you with your luggage which is normally not a problem for me but with the current condition of check in it would be very helpful. For the money you pay for this place I would hope for a bit better. Cannot beat the location if the rest are not important to you but also consider construction noise if you like to sleep in which we did not so no problem for us.

Hotel has an excellent location but unfortunately they are tearing up the street outside the front door which makes it very inconvenient to get from the garage to the front door. Room was clean but street noise made opening the windows at night (no A/C) impractical so room was a little warm.

Unfortunately, due to street construction, the parking lot was a challenge to get to and from. More of a concern was the unexpected noise from the street, until 3 AM. Nothing the hotel can do about that, but it did make for short nights of sleep. Otherwise, the folks at reception were great and it was a very nice, usable room, in a location convenient to almost everything in town.

The room was clean and tidy and perfect for the price. No breakfast included, but all restaurants, coffee shop and shopping closeby. It was quiet except the room doors are very noisy when they fall shut and the hotel started cleaning up the rooms fairly early the next morning, so it was loud in the hallway. Maybe

Gothic style from the outside but full Interior is dated, ceiling fan and heater not working, we only use table top fan for 2 days, incomplete bathroom/washroom miscellaneous like hair dryer as well as small considering top spots for tourist looks like require some facelift. The room too small for our group and dark ambience however Yogit was so nice to accommodate our booking request for an additional folding bed and towels. Daily rate value is not worth since there was no breakfast available only coffee station inside your room. Since they have no front desk on site for 24 hrs you have to prepare returnable cash deposits for main entrance door key to be able to enter after 12 midnight and another deposit for closed parking door ($110). Pros, it was located in the heart of Banff Avenue, steps from all amenities, attractions and shops, secured and covered parking space. In my opinion, for its price you can find better and newer option within surrounding areas and recommend to book several months ahead of your trip.

We stayed here one night and I have to say it was a very small room but we had a comfy king bed a nice bathroom, tv, fireplace on the wall and we were happy with it . It was very clean & smelled nice & fresh the room was a little hot so we opened the window for an hour . Very quiet nights sleep except for the trains every few hrs with there horns sounding off . We will stay here again price was cheap and it was very convenient, parking was free and only yards around the corner in the parkade . Staff were friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed on this hotel if you’re looking for just a comfy clean room as there’s no pool. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from close by .

So glad we stayed here in downtown Banff. EVERYTHING was right outside the front door. We did not mind parking a block away. Hotel staff were very helpful.

The hotel is centrally located on Banff ave making it convenient to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room are old and the hotel is showing her age but the bed is comfortable and the room has all the amenities needed to make your stay pleasant.

This is my 3rd time in this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. It was good, convenient and safe the only down side is the room with no air conditioner. It was really hot on that day so I end up opening the windows all night good thing that our room is in 3rd floor it's okay to sleep with window open because it's not really noisy. When it comes to dining, there are a lot of restaurant nearby so we didn't have problems on choosing where and when to eat. Overall the location is really convenient.

The only great thing about this hotel was the location. The price we paid was not worth it. Parking is completely separate. There needs to be a sign at the parking garage to make it less confusing. Or some sort of directions on how to get there. The front desk staff is not friendly. There was no smoke detector in our room but the cords were hanging down from the ceiling for one. It’s really just a place to sleep and that’s it. I feel like they can do so much better.

Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate. When we arrived our room was unbearably hot (no AC) and stuffy. We had to leave the window open the entire time because it was so unpleasant. Luckily the room faced the back of the hotel so it wasn’t too noisy. The room wasn’t clean: there was a used mask on the floor under some furniture, there were food crumbs on the floor, and the fridge had someone else’s leftovers in it. It was also very dusty; my partner and I had allergic reactions to the room and were stuffed up the entire time (we know it was the room because we were okay outside). Bathroom was okay, though there was a small hole in the wall. Decent water pressure in the shower. Walls are thin so could hear other rooms and people in the hallway. The rooms are tiny and run down and definitely don’t match the pictures. There is no AC. Staff not very helpful, and seemed to resent their jobs. Mattress is hard. No amenities to speak of other than free parking at the nearby parkade.

WARNING - do not stay here. This place is dismal and really should not be operating as a £250 a night hotel. It needs a total refurbishment, the carpets, furniture , bedding and bed, bathroom suites were not in a good state. The window couldn't be closed and the AC was not working. The front desk is not manned. The only good things were it was centrally located and parking (but not guaranteed). You have been warned !

Der er ingen lobby, men et lille glasbur som var lukket da vi ankom omkring frokosttid. Vi ville gerne stille vores bagage og måtte vente på at personalet mødte op. Ved indtjekning tog de kopi af pas og tastede ens kort data, altså intet var digitalt. Skræmmende. Elevatoren op kan anvendes af alle udefra. De opbevarer dine personlige data fremme i chateks på bordet i glasburet som er frit tilgængeligt. GDPR regler?? De trak på skulderene og vidste ikke hvad der blev spurgt indtil. Kan desværre derfor ikke anbefales.
