Sheets were dirty but didn’t realize till the next day. Elevator broken. Under construction so entire outside was covered with scaffolding. Breakfast was below average. Views were beautiful!

Nice Hotel and a at good location. It is easy to park and the free ferry nearby can take you to the other parts of town (but not on Sunday)

Very comfortable hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Well located. Ample free car parking.

The property was amazing clean and very nice staff- all spoke English to some degree which made for very easy communications. The parking was ok- they are in the middle of making what will be a beautiful front patio so the temporary construction was taking some of the parking - but they had arranged and had some a bit further back. The area - has very little right around there - but the water taxi is just a stones throw and that takes you to the shopping and restaurants - so it’s a very nice place for peace and quiet and you can quickly jump over to the night life if wanted!! Super find and I’d go back!!!

The hotel had a parking space when we arrived with electric charging. The front desk staff was very kind and nice and got is right into a room since the THON in Oslo had an Unusuable shower. The only drawback was the room was very tight and ceeilings extremely low, so my husband felt a bits claustrophobic. The building is old, but they have kept it up very well for its age. The views were awesome and I liked being on the ground floor.

Rent hotell, veldig oversiktlig, nydelig mat i restaurant. Fiskerettene var saftige og smskfulle med mye tilbehør. Fikk en rolig og behagelig natt. Flott utsikt til bukta og bysentrum.

Kunne ha vært vasket(bad), litt uheldig kjøleskap som ikke har fungert på en stund så det ut som siden det var litt mugg inni der, ellers var alt super bra, Personale var hyggelig, lett og mange parkeringsplasser, super digg frokost!

Fint,stort rom med gode senger. Kaldt bad og veldig skitne vinduer,så utsikten blei ganske redusert. God frukost og hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen.

Eigenlijk wel een goed hotel, ondanks 3 op 5. Comfort voldoende, maar verwacht geen luxe of chique interieur. De kamer had een te klein raam vonden we. En de lift was 4 dagen lang defect, waardoor dat we de zware koffers de trap op moesten zeulen. Het ontbijt is prima en je hebt ereen mooi zicht. Gratis koffiein de ontvangstruimte.

Clean and pleasant rooms. Nice features like a fridge and an outlet near the mirror for hair dryer. Lovely breakfast. Would stay again!

Veldig fin utsikt mot sjøen. Store og fine rom

Flott rom og fantastisk utsikt. Ingen balkong, men dobbeldør som kunne åpnes mot sundet for å nyte utsikten.

Morgenmaden var bemærkelsesværdig dårlig osten var tør og kanterne bøjede opad. den stod en skål overmodne bananer som næsten var sorte og udvalget var generelt kedeligt. TV på rummet var local kanaler og chomecast som ikke virkede ordentligt og det var som om at naborummet styrede chromecast. menuen i restauranten var den samme som de have sidst var var der for 8 år siden

Room was clean but a bit bizarre - literally sleeping in an old warehouse with bare pipe work and rough beams. Staying ground floor with just a front door to outside - no option to open a window for fresh air and obviously couldn’t leave the door open all night!

The beds sag. Location is really not good if you want to see the town, though free parking is a plus. Very good breakfast. But I really was not happy to find that, contrary to the list of amenities on Expedia, there are no laundry facilities. Staff will send your laundry out for you, but that obviously is not a real option for road trippers.

Kjempefint hotell som ligger stille og rolig til. Nydelig frokost. Desverre alt for lytt mellom rommene og gangen, her hører du det meste som skjer. Heldigvis rolig på hotellet når vi var der, så det utgjorde ikke ett veldig stort problem. Senga derimot utgjorde ett problem, den var alt for fast og føltes i tillegg veldig kort, ga dårlig søvnkvalitet. Ansatte på jobb når vi var der var hyggelige og serviceorienterte.

Schöne Lage. Die Aussicht am Abend auf Kristiansund war besonders toll. Die Zimmer waren super eingerichtet. Betten waren bequem und das Bad war richtig gut. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Værelserne er fine, god morgenmad, med flot udsigt over fjorden. Denne gang havde jeg dog et værelse hvor man tydeligt kunne høre elevatoren. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

Only negative comment about the hotel is that on our second evening, the restaurant was closed for a private event. This had not been pointed out to us when we checked in. Luckily there was a restaurant nearby (Dodeladen Cafe) which was very good.

Personal muy amable

Staff excellent esp the indian (girl) who served us when we arrived. She was efficient, well mannered and easy to deal with. Great assets to Thon to have staff of this caliber esp in front line.

Flott hotell og fin beliggenhet. Men har noe klare tilbakemeldinger på blant annet service. Da vi kom dit manglet fjernkontroll til TV. Vi varslet i fra i resepsjonen, og de skulle ordne. Men kom ingen ny, så måtte igjen purre på fjernkontroll. Da fikk vi en de hadde liggende. Men da vi kom tilbake til rommet, manglet den batteri. Fikk ordnet det. Men lite initiativ fra ansatte. TV fungerte ikke, kun TV2, de andre kanalene uklare og tildels borte da det stor problem med nettverk. Da vi sa i fra om dette var det bare svar at det kunne de ikke gjøre noe med. Så skulle vi trene, stod gratis trening på info på TV på rommet. Men dette stemte ikke. De kunne ikke gjøre noe med dette. Så vi trente og betalte selv. Stod også gratis lån av paraply i resepsjonen, men det viste seg også å være feil info, da det også kostet penger. Da vi sjekket ut og forklarte at vi ikke hadde hatt TV og lurte på om det kunne kompenseres for dette og feil info så fikk vi beskjed om at dette var bare slik det var og det kunne de ikke gjøre noe med. Synd dere fikk det slik sa de, uten å prate mer om det. Men bortsett fra service som var ganske dårlig, var hotellet, beliggenheten og maten veldig bra. Men vi er på bilferie fra hotell til hotell rundt i Norge, dette var vårt fjerde på turen, og det desidert dårligste på service. Var heller ikke mottakelig for konstruktiv tilbakemelding, da de mer bare sa de ikke kunne gjøre noe med at vi var uheldig. Ikke en beklagelse en gang.

Ellen the Receptionist who checked us in was hospitable & friendly. She gave us information about the city from a local perspective. We had a nice room overlooking the harbor.

Only negative comment about the hotel is that on our second evening, the restaurant was closed for a private event. This had not been pointed out to us when we checked in. Luckily there was a restaurant nearby (Dodeladen Cafe) which was very good.

Lovely hotel on quiet island with easy free ferry to main town.

Beautiful location in a very picturesque area. Staff were very accommodating and professional. Would stay again.

Eloigne du centre mais au calme

This hotel is located across the water from the downtown area. There is a ferry to get across so one does not need to drive back and forth. The rooms could use a bit of a refurbish but the bath is fine.

Property is a bus, ferry or taxi ride away from the main town, so location may put some people off if they don`t have a car. We had not stayed in a Thon hotel before but it was a revelation. At first glance it looks like a UK Premiere Inn, but looks are deceiving. The main building itself is a converted warehouse on the seafront, which gives it character, and the sun deck overlooking the sea is great. Of particular note is the restaurant, the food was excellent - deservedly rated in local guides as one of the best restaurants in town. The Halibut was sublime.

posizionato benissimo, battello taxi a pochi metri, splendida terrazza sul mste e stanze super comfort anche se un po piccole. cibo molto buono ma buffet caro. colazione fantastica. personale gentilissimo. parcheggio molto comodo e gratis.

Fint hotel med god frokost inkludert. Litt iangt unna sentrum, men det går gratisferger man kan ta, rett ved hotellet.

We ordered an entrecote, it was very expensive and very bad and there could have been more vegetables.

God seng, god frokost, fint rom på brygga. Er nok enda finere på sommeren!

The Thon Hotel was very nice, the food was exceptional. our room was big, and the bed very comfortable.

Rummet var ok. I princip en kopia av Scandic. Frukosten var mycket bra. Restaurangen på hotellet en katastrof. Gå in till centrum och ät där, ta en taxi tillbaka. Jag klagar nästan aldrig på maten jag får. Beställde en hamburgare, McDonald hamburgare är flera gånger bättre och jag som brukar undvika McDonalds. Min fru åt kyckling även detta en katastrof. Betalar man 375 kr för en huvudrätt måste man kunna kräva bättre.
