The Beverly

The unit was very clean and relatively modern but barely supplied for any extended living. I was upset there because the heat was 59 degrees when I checked in at 830 pm and about 63 at 12:30 am. With no actual blankets, I had to double my comforter to get warm. Also, I don't remember reading anywhere that this was a self checkin motel. There was no message on my email and I panicked a bit when I arrived, though someone did answer and game me instructions. The email was sent to my "expedia" account which I did not know I had since I booked on Hotel.com which apparently, is a part.

There are no staff on site. Their email was going to my junk folder and nobody tried to contact me in a different /secondary way to inquire why I had not responded or checked in. I got frequent text messages from a bot asking if I needed anything, but when I replied there was no response unless I replied with words that it could respond to, like "everything is fine". I needed extra linens and there is a closet that says to take what you need but it is locked. There was someone in the room above me who walked around (?) and made quite a bit of noise until midnight and then was back at it at 7am. The room was much smaller than the photos showed and the fold-out couch was a tiny child -sized situation, not really the 2nd bed I needed for my teenager. The kitchenette was fine, but not usefully stocked.

Easy access.. No front desk.. simply the use of codes to get into room. Nice set up for a comfortable stay with a sofa, table, kitchen if needed. Bed was very firm which we liked.

I was unable to get into my room. Nobody answers the emergency line. I have stayed here previously and loved it. I am so very upset

Really love this place, my husband and I stay here each time we visit Salem. We have a fantastic time, the hotel is always clean and staff goes above, and beyond each time. Highly recommend!
