Handara Golf & Resort Bali

Très bel endroit, reposant et verdoyant. Plusieurs activités sont proposées. Le personnel est au petit soin. Cadre idyllique. La chambre bungalow mériterait un petit coup de neuf dans la SDB et ça sera exceptionnel ! On a pu louer un scooter en demandant à l'accueil. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un buffet très fourni.

Conforme aux attentes même si un peu vieillissant. Attention, vu l’isolement des chambres d’hôtel en rez de chaussée et au cœur de la jungle, il y a des insectes. Par contre, c’est hyper calme et le petit déjeuner est vraiment excellent et très diversifié. Le lobby et le restaurant sont très Class.

Handara Golf & Resort was one of our biggest travel disappointments. The place looks beautiful from the outside, but once you stay there, it’s a completely different story. The food was unacceptable — I ordered a “ribeye steak” that was not even close to ribeye, already cut into pieces before it reached the table, dry, and flavorless. The restaurant was almost empty, yet the service was painfully slow. The room had no AC, only a noisy dehumidifier that kept us awake most of the night. If we opened the windows for air, we were attacked by flies everywhere. The whole resort felt neglected and poorly managed. When we raised our concerns politely, instead of solving the problem, management decided it was easier to end our stay early and refund one night — basically to get rid of us. That says everything about how they handle guests who complain. This place could be amazing, but with this food, service, and attitude, it’s far from the peaceful mountain escape they advertise.

We were very excited to visit Handara Golf & Resort, but it turned into a major disappointment. The food was awful — I ordered a ribeye steak that was not even ribeye, already cut into pieces before being served, and tasted like something from a cheap cafeteria. The restaurant service was extremely slow, even though it was empty. The rooms were old, worn out, and had no air conditioning, only a loud dehumidifier that made it impossible to sleep. The area was full of flies, and every staff member gave different information about basic things like dress code, the driving range, and drone use. When we complained, instead of resolving the situation properly, management decided to end our stay early — refunding one night just to get rid of us. That says everything about how they handle guests who speak up. Beautiful location, but terrible food, poor maintenance, and zero professionalism. Definitely not worth the money.
