After requesting a downstairs room were allocated up stairs. Corrected quickly. There is no food provision in the hotel but a wonderful Toby Carvery next door.

Lovely basic hotel, over the road from the train station so easily walkable. Be aware there is no breakfast option but there is a Toby Carvery opposite or McDonalds half a mile down the road. Clean and tidy, would book again.

I found the staff very helpful and the hotel clean and tidy. I was there on business and I had to leave at 7.00 am to get to my meetings. This was the only problem, really, because the hotel does not have a restaurant and the Toby Carvery next door does not open until 8.00 am. I would suggest to ths hotel that they put in a little fridge in each room. That way an early morning traveller could bring milk and have a cereal breakfast at least. For anyone going to the hotel, it is also worth taking a small extension lead with you. There are very few sockets so this would be helpful for charging your phone, working on your computer etc. All in all, it is a nice, little place but an extra double socket and a small fridge in each room would make it better still.

Banging from 5a.m. The state of the room was terrible due the amount of damage. Terrible fix it job on bathroom door handle & it was very hard to open & close. Top of radiator was filthy, room was too hot & had to ask for a fan. Wasn't a double bed like we asked for but two single beds pushed together.

The room was nice enough but disappointed with the cleanliness of the bedding. It looked like it was all nice an clean but when I turned the pillows over they looked like they'd been covered in make up and the same went for the duvet. The wifi was also poor. Even though reported to reception they didn't know how to sort it.

The room was a bit dirty to be fair, stains on carpet, settee etc. The hotel over all could do with a revamped.. i paid £65 and if i had paid anymore i would of been fuming.

Parking easy and right outside. Friendly staff. Bed very uncomfortable, very thin pillows, smells like wet dog in the room. Really annoying massive led light showing the temperature on the radiator, room cold, bathroom very tired looking. Linens not crisp you could feel the duvet cover was old too. I imagine they inherited everything from when it used to be a premier inn and haven’t brought anything new or refurbished at all.

We stayed for 1 night, the room.was clean feont desk staff were really nice and check in was easy. Room was a bit dated only had 1 double socket could do with a few more. Pillows were a bit flat and matress was very firm and no aircon . Nice stay though for what we needed

Not the hotels fault but we had a group of noisy kids near up. Making loads of noise in the corridor on the way to their room at 10pm. Then all came out of their room/s again at 10:15, same noise. I banged on the door and asked them to qieten down. They did. Then 15 minutes later back to the room/s and same again. Woken up twice as we had an early start next morning. The night before someone was smoking overnight and the smell was very strong for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself was decent value though quite far from the city. The bathrooms do need some investment and the mattress could probably do with an upgrade. Maintenance pretty poor too. Cheap and cheerless I'd say.

Very efficient check in, and I was given for me the best room possible in accordance with special requests, top/ first floor right at the end and at the rear of the property. I had a good view of Aintree stadium and approaches. Very spacious room and en suite and comfortable bed. Plenty of car parking free of charges and restrictions. The immediate area is very good for retail parks and fast food outlets, and Aintree train station is just across the road and rail travel into Liverpool and the Merseyside area is a good and cheap way of avoiding the hassle and car park charges of the city centre. Would definitely stay again.

It is a basic budget hotel. It does what it says on the tin. Apart from the noisy neighbours in the next room (to which the poor sound-proofing contributed), there was little to complain about. The price reflected the hotel offering.

Extremely good value for money. Staff were helpful friendly and polite. Room facilities were very good, all that you need for a stay in Liverpool. Excellent for getting around the city, and i would definitely use this hotel again.

Perfectly for the price. Good location, free car parking and comfortable clean rooms. Above all though, service was excellent. One employee, sorry...didn't catch her name, but she was a blonde lady who did both frontdesk and cleaning of rooms, really went the extra mile for me, sorting an iron at short notice, when all of them had been lent out. She's a real asset.

Room was basic as expected but was generally clean. The reception staff need to be more personable and smile. Checked in and a guy came running in behind us as we opened the room to check it was fully ready which seemed a bit late. There was a business left in the toilet which he quickly flushed away. Bed was very hard so not a great nights sleep. Good location for getting out and about but the food outlets on the park itself were not great. The KFC was sold out of on the bone chicken and all sides 3 hours before closing when we went in. The Toby next door was ok but the Harvester up the road was better. Overall for the price of £107,00 for a night it was not great value for money and I would not use this Inn again.

I stayed here in order to attend a football match. The location is great as the Aintree train station is just across the road. There are many locations nearby to eat and the accommodation was clean and quiet. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Pleasant enough stay in what appears to be an ex-premier inn so no surprises. 300m to Aintree course so this is the place if you are a horse racing fan on a budget.

I thought the hotel room was nice and clean and comfortable but I thought it was pricey for just the bed as no breakfast included. The only nearby food was a Toby Carvery or a KFC.

Very friendly welcome. Proper key for the room. Electric that doesn't need activating. TV that works without staff having to retune it. Basically everything the Knowsley Inn wasn't. Great food options right on the doorstep. WILL I BOOK AGAIN? DEFINATELY YES.
