The room was not well cleaned when we checked in. There was clothing wrapped around the light bulb in a lamp, a dirty wash cloth was left in the shower area, the room wasn’t dusted and the conditioner container was empty. We used the pool and there weren’t any towels. We asked for some at the front desk. 3 hours later, there still were no towels.

We were more than pleasantly surprised at everything about this hotel. First and foremost, the staff was beyond nice and so very friendly and helpful! AC was nice and cold, room was large and very comfortable. Shuttle to the airport was ready and on time.

Staff is always very nice. Parking readily available. I love the ice water available at all times in the lobby. Super convenient when you have an early morning departure or late night arrival. Super hot shower, with comfortable bed and pillows . Love the suite. Only negative is the side door can be a little hard to open and no body mirror. The microwaves could also be updated .

It was all good. I was traveling alone, so it was important that I had a place to leave my car and a shuttle-on time-to take me to the airport and pick me up when I returned, and that everything was clean and safe. Everything went smooth and easy, and everyone was friendly and kind. THANK YOU-I am HARD to please-but this time, I am!! Dorinda DeReese

The location was perfect for the event I was attending. The front desk was courteous, housekeeping was nice as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. I wish they had a full length mirror, but overall a good stay.

Trash out front, Door windows were dirty, door handles were broken, weird lobby smell and the floor was dirty, a simple mop and vacuum would be amazing. The room smelled humid. They just need to constantly run the A/C to keep the room fresh. Room wasn’t too bad, aside from the wall paper ripped from the wall and it looks like someone was thrown into it. The bathroom tile wasn’t repaired, just stuffed tissue in it to plug the hole. House keeping was my biggest issue, They knocked to clean, I politely said, not now come back later… After looking at me and trying to look in my room… they asked how long later? “

Great staff and my suite was very clean, equipped with all amenities and comfortable beds! The area is within walking distance to grab a bite to eat if you don’t want to drive. It was very quiet during the day and night and a safe environment.

When we arrived and upon departure, the staff was pleasant. However, the cleanliness of our room was atrocious. The sheets were soiled upon arrival. We left for the day, returned in the afternoon, and reported the soiled sheets that had still not been changed. We were told the rooms aren’t cleaned everyday. They offered to change the bed, but we checked out a day early.

This property is infested with bed bugs. My room was changed 3 times due to this problem and they never close the room down to clean properly. The house keeper came to my room on check out day at 9am to ask what time we were checking out. When check out wasnt until 11am . Not the best time traveling with a 2yr old

This hotel does not respect reserved rooms, even if you pay for them in advance. I was reduced to a queen room with a sofa bed instead of a king, and was offered no refund, perks, or anything. This has happened at other Springhills in the past. The room that was provided for me was not fully stocked, had a faulty AC unit (cooled by 2° over 4 hours), and the door did not latch properly unless I pulled/pushed on it. This hotel is noisy, and the halls were echoing until after 10:30pm.

We were disappointed in our overnight stay. The reviews were 8.6, so we were expecting more. The refrigerator in room wasn’t working and had leaked out in the cabinet. The AC worked fine, but was really loud. Hallways were really hot. Elevator has something spilled and it wasn’t cleaned up, they just stuck a cone over it!! Breakfast was just ok, very few options, extras for coffee weren’t replenished. Hostess in the the breakfast area was very kind, but seemed overwhelmed with the number of people trying to eat with VERY limited seating 😣

The first room, the door wouldn’t open. The second room, the fridge didn’t work, outlets in the bed area didn’t work. Bed was very uncomfortable. The carpets are terrible Staff was very nice! Bathroom was very clean.

We came to see my daughter at college. It was me, my husband and kids. Well on the site it said 2 queen beds and sofa. They ARE NOT QUEEN BEDS they were double beds ..maybe. Those beds were so small my husband is tall. We could not fit in the bed together at all. One of us had to sleep on the couch! Not what I paid for and extremely upset. I didn’t not argue with them since it was only one night but was very upset. And my sister was across the hall and had a roach in her room!! I will just need to love to another hotel next time I come see my daughter in college.

Hotel was conveniently located. Front desk staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Room was clean and refreshing. It was humid when we went into the room but an hour after lower the air, it felt better. The shower had great pressure but didn’t get as hot as I would like. Breakfast was great, cereals, oatmeal (with lots of toppings), muffins, breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, eggs, and breads. Great for a night but we would have loved to stay longer.

This was the worst day Birthday stay I’ve ever had! . The Springhill Suites in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has horrible customer service!!! The air conditioning in my room did not work and there was no maintenance or staff on hand to help with the situation. It was almost 80° in my hotel room and I was given a maintenance contractor's fan to plug up that made noise all night and rarely cooled. I was sweating and it was a horrible experience and I’m never booking there again. When I asked to speak to a manager, there was no manager and staff. There was one person only working the desk and the whole hotel the next morning I called again to ask to speak to the manager and I was told there was no manager available and that someone would come in later on this afternoon to speak with me. I am leaving to go home. I want to be refunded the full price of my room.

This was the worst day Birthday stay I’ve ever had! . The Springhill Suites in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has horrible customer service!!! The air conditioning in my room did not work and there was no maintenance or staff on hand to help with the situation. It was almost 80° in my hotel room and I was given a maintenance contractor's fan to plug up that made noise all night and rarely cooled. I was sweating and it was a horrible experience and I’m never booking there again. When I asked to speak to a manager, there was no manager and staff. There was one person only working the desk and the whole hotel the next morning I called again to ask to speak to the manager and I was told there was no manager available and that someone would come in later on this afternoon to speak with me. I am leaving to go home. I want to be refunded the full price of my room.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice size bathroom. Only complaint is at night it was extremely loud outside. The blue lights from the police car kept us up for a while also.

Location near the airport was great. There are lots of food options in walking distance. Unfortunately, my room needed some extra cleaning. The walls, doors and counters were sticky. The refrigerator didn't work. There wasn't any extra linen in the room for the sofabed.

I like the front desk staff and housekeeping person Liza. The entry way and carpet could use cleaning but otherwise ok. The hotel was inconvenient to get around and fulfill my purpose for being in the city. Also if you get there late due to flight delays difficult to find food and the frozen food for purchase packaging did not look appetizing .

Hotel was conveniently located. Front desk staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Room was clean and refreshing. It was humid when we went into the room but an hour after lower the air, it felt better. The shower had great pressure but didn’t get as hot as I would like. Breakfast was great, cereals, oatmeal (with lots of toppings), muffins, breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, eggs, and breads. Great for a night but we would have loved to stay longer.

This is a very nice hotel for the price, but the free breakfast was more worthy of a Motel 6. All they had to offer was cereal & milk, pre-packaged waffles, bagels and granola bars. They had no yogurt, eggs or other protein at all, no fruit, bread or muffins. There were lots of toppings, like nuts, craisins, coconut salsa, etc., but nothing to put them on (except maybe the packaged waffles). Very disappointing.

I choose SpringHill Suites because they are well maintained and because the amenities are good for an affordable price. However, the lack of an actual breakfast at this location was very disappointing. I’ve had cold to-go breakfast hotels that have offered better. Very disappointing.

The fourth floor had a musty smell as soon as you stepped out of the elevator that just intensified inside my room. I tried to endure it but the next morning I didn't have hot water for my shower so that was the final straw. Tai, the staff member was amazing in trying to accommodate another room for me but every room she saw in the computer as being available was actually dirty (not attended to by housekeeping). I ended up just checking out 3 days early and finding another hotel.

The only issue we had was that the floor on the side closest to the a/c unit was wet. I’m assuming it was leaking.Other than that it was nice and breakfast was just ok. Would still stay again.

The night staff was wonderful. However the day staff and morning staff were horrible. We couldn't get our room cleaned while we were out nor fresh towels and I directly asked the desk each day. Then when we went to check out it was explained that we couldn't get a refund because we prepaid nor could we get some sort of room comp or extra points via my Marriot app. The receptionist didnt even ask if I was a member. The property was dirty and our room had popcorn kernels in the pull out bed for my daughter which was not made and we had to get an extra blanket for from the night staff. Like I said the young man who worked nights was wonderful and highly accommodating, everyone else not so much.
