Room was very clean. But had a slight wet dog odor. Breakfast not as good as other SpringHill hotels we've stayed in. One elevator out of order. Staff didn't know what to do to keep guests safe while a possible tornado was heading our way. Fortunately, only wind and rain...no tornado.

The property listed a pool in the advertising,had directions to pool on placards mounted on walls ,listed pool on the on screen amenities in the room but when we tried to find said pool was told they hadn't had a pool for over a year.other hotels in area had pools at similar cost and would have been chosen .I feel it was false advertising over a year after deleting pool

Sheets were stained and I made the front desk aware and they could careless. The lady’s comment to me was “did you need anything else”. Disgusting, they should have gave me some credit for my nights I stayed. They gave me nothing and when I discovered this issue I had to go get new sheets and change them myself. Totally disappointed in the customer service.

This property is perfectly located, easy commute to all wonderful locations including DC, Tysons area, and Winchester. The property could use some sprucing. The door squeaked, the shelve in the shower was not screwed in completely. Also using the stairwell daily i niticed it was never cleaned. All in all I would stay there again but purely for the location.

This property is ageing. There does not seem to be much effort made to keep it clean - dirty rugs in halls, and dingy rugs in rooms. Front desk is not always staffed. Pool is closed (as it was when we stayed there a month ago.) Overall, below what you would expect for the pricing.

Need some serious cleaning!!! DIRTY Furniture. Bath tubs do NOT drain! Tub fills up with water immediately after turning on shower head. Dirty rugs in hallways. Room had a terrible smell probably from the carpet in the room!! Room freezing cold in December. WILL NOT RECOMMEND

Great new hotel 10 minute drive from Dulles airport. Spacious room for 4-6 people with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. Decent complimentary continental breakfast and free shuttle to/from airport. Reception staff was outstanding

This hotel has no pool, it "hasn't for months" and is falsely claiming it has one in its details and information.. as well as the confirmation emails and other communication that it sends after booking. Our reception told us after months of remodelling "no body has bothered to update the information online or the signage around the building" Upon arrival it also turns out the WiFi doesn't work. Which is unfortunate for our visit but probably fixed for other visitors. Whilst the hotel is tired with worn carpets, rough finishing and things patched up with tape, the overall stay fits the price. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, but we wouldn't stay again.

My room (223) had non-working telephones and an inoperable (dead) thermostat. Neither condition was disclosed to me upon check-in, nor on the hotel’s website. After checking in and discovering both problems, I had to walk down to the desk to request maintenance. The maintenance man told me “phone service to all the rooms has been out for at least 3 days”, and he also said, none of the wall thermostats were working. I asked if he had a replacement and offered to install it: he said no, it would have to be ordered. Besides, he said, even if I could install it, I couldn’t program it. I assured him that I could, to which he became very irritated, and said, maybe so. I don’t know the story of this hotel: whether it is brand-new or undergoing renovations, it does not seem to be ready to accept visitors. By not disclosing the problems upfront, it also makes me wonder what else the hotel is hiding. I would not stay there again (even though the location was extremely convenient) unless I had assurances that the telephones and thermostats were installed and operative.

Everything was well maintained and seemed new. The only downside was there was no electrical outlets on one side of the bed. This was the side I sleep on and had nowhere to plug in my CPAP for sleep apnea. I had to run the power cord behind our pillows across the bed and it barely reached the side my wife was on. Definitely a design flaw which created an unsafe condition. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Poor customer service from the time we checked in. We were happy to be there friendly and the guy at the desk would not even say hi. Cindy, the lady at the desk was less than friendly. When approached, didn’t even acknowledge me. I stated that the bottle of conditioner at the room was empty and has not been filled as we have checked in. She shrugged her shoulders and stated that the room was supposed the be refreshed today. Room got “refreshed” but the bottle didn’t get filled. The next day I had to come down and ask for some. The gentleman, David was polite and gave me a bottle. He explained since the staff all spoke Spanish, they couldn’t even ask them to do anything. They told us that our room was going to get refreshed every other day but that didn’t happen. We had one refreshing during one week stay and a cleaning on our last day staying there. The front desk people won’t even look at you or acknowledge you ornsaynhello. It was so disappointing. Every couple of years I come to visit my parents in VA and we pick this hotel due to proximity. I am not sure next time we will stay here. It was awful

The manager was extremely rude. Knocked on our door, saying I’m not going to tell you again to be quiet. It was late when we arrived, we had to use a microwave to make some food. Perhaps they confused us for another room regardless that is not how you handle something like this. They continue to knock multiple times when no one was speaking. Even shared that the manager had his ear to the door, listening to us, which is just ridiculous and incredibly creepy.

Inflexible and not customer friendly. Seems they are tired or stressed. Rooms were not even ready at 3 pm. I paid all fees including security the day before at the hotel for all my guests so that they check in comfortably but they charged them again. They make mistakes in room selection and make you pay extra fee at the time of registration to give you the correct room. Hotel is in a nice location and is clean but seems management is terrible. Marriot should do much better and we are member anyway.

Overall good value.l for the price. Toilet needed to be repaired as it ran continuously. Shower was okay. They do not clean rooms every day. They said every other day but no one showed up the 3 days I stayed.

The staff here was simply amazing. They kindly drove me to the conference I needed to attend every day.and when their vehicle was too far to pick me up at the airport they generously paid my taxi fare!!! I have never stayed at a hotel with such good cutomer care.

Overall, we would recommend this hotel - clean, free parking, close to Leesburg Premium Outlets and other shopping places and lots of dining places in the area. Breakfast is ok. The only part that we don’t like is we came here expecting to use their indoor pool. However, when we got there we were told that it’s closed and that they haven’t had that for quite a while now. They need to update their website if this amenity is no longer available for future guests. Also, housekeeping is not daily so be prepared to go down to the front desk if you need fresh towels or toilet paper rolls. I was even asked by the Latina lady at the front desk where our used towels are. Seriously, who takes their wet and dirty towels down to the front desk to exchange to new ones.

It was a roomy and comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and areas in the hotel seem to be well maintained. Although their elevators need a little TLC. It’s also close to Top Golf, iFly, and shopping/food center called One Loudoun.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, only suggestion would be to have it replenished more often, as there were items (bacon and waffles) that were completely empty at one point. However, it wasn’t long at all. Good experience, would definitely stay again.

I had stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. This time the property was not in the best shape. Breakfast was very good but they ran out of food quickly. The service here is lacking. Check out is at noon and the final day went down to breakfast, went back up to room and they were ripping up the carpet in the hallway and already cleaning the room. Very awkward.

The facility was a bit older than I expected. The initial impression from the odor in the lobby reminded me of an old bowling alley; they may need new carpeting. My room was like the picture online when I booked the reservation, but the space indicated as a kitchenette was a cubby with a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. I never used the microwave. The room was very clean and sanitary, but the toilet did not flush well when I got into the room, I needed to have maintenance fix the issue, it was addressed within a few hours the next morning, while I was out of the room. Cleaning staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast had a lot of choices, mostly carbohydrates, limited protein (egg / bacon-not every morning). Selections were limited for anyone with special dietary needs or food allergies. The bed was very comfortable and I got great sleep. The 3-night stay was adequate for the purpose of my trip, but I would have expected more for the price I paid through Hotels.com.

Advertises pool, there is no pool as per the staff on duty. The smell of sewage permeated the first floor and elevator. It looked like there was maintenance being done but the kind you see done by a slumlord. Ex. The shower door "has a seal" but the seal is both too short for the length of door and too tall to allow the door to even close. Extra’s: None of the buttons work on the A/C unit, they had opened cups mixed with closed cups in the coffee, and I would actually believe they resealed unused pieces of plastic cutlery because half the packs seemed to be missing 1 or more things.

Overall pretty good 2 concerns: Fitted sheet had a previous obvious stain on it . Should NOT still be using it. It would have been nice to have been told that card keys need to be touched to door touch pad at check in not just waved before the pad. Had to return to front desk because I thought they were not working

I always have a wonderful relaxing stay at the Spring Hill Suites Ashburn. Always guiet and peaceful with large, comfortable and clean suites. I would not book tmhere for the continental breakfast, but there are so many great food options in the near area. Also there is no longer a pool on property, so less fun for children. Overall o still enjoy it for the serenity and peaceful nights sleep it offers.
