Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio Six Flags at The RIM

Hotel was nice and clean and rooms were spacious. Nice outside area with a fire pit, games and pool. Target nearby and other shopping.

Understaffed with advertised bar not open, okay service and paid parking that was not conveyed and no reasoning for it.

The staff was so friendly! The property had a bunch of cool amenities, outside firepit with tv’s outside, a large turf with seating in the back, a basketball court?? The room was spacious with a full kitchen and large fridge/freezer. I’ve stayed at several of the hotels in this area and I will 100% be coming back to this one. My ONLY complaint is the toilet could be scrubbed better… My husband said the toilet seat felt like it was loose but I didn’t feel anything. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay!

Great for families and fur babies. Very friendly staff, nice courtyard, big outdoor firepit, nice pool, fun lawn games, and generous breakfast buffet. It is right on the Leon Creek Greenway with miles and miles of walkable and bike able trails.

Easy check in…very clean…highly recommend..kids loved the basketball court

The pool was closed all weekend, which was a terrible waste of resources.

Clean room and great staff! Great Thanksgiving Holiday vacation stay! Hotel had a great outdoor fire pit during the cold evenings and made it even more of a Holiday season. Will definitely stay here again.

Great outdoor space. The back yard area where the pool is had such a nice space. Yes, it is slightly older but well taken care of. Was glad for the laundry capabilities. Some reviews had mentioned car break in's. However, they can not help what criminals do. This property are going OUT OF THEIR way to keep your vehicles secure. Multiple sensors and a security service monitoring. I was so thankful for that. Will stay here again for sure. Close to anything you'd need.

My family and I really enjoyed this stay. We only stayed 3 nights at this hotel, but really have nothing to complain about. The hotel was clean and so was the room. Breakfast was served every morning, and we enjoyed the choices. Parking was easy and a lot of parking at the time we were there. Pool was also clean and really nice. Overall a good stay. The only draw back is that it shares a pool and “courtyard” area with the sister hotel right next to it, so there was more people one of the nights in that shared area than expected.

The stay was great, the only thing I would have wished was better was how clean the bed was.

Very Clean, good sized rooms with friendly staff. Breakfast was really good. Our room had a small cook top stove and good sized fridge. Lots of dining and shopping nearby. Definitely staying here again.

Rooms extremely clean, and the staff were amazing

Property is clean and new from outside and Lobby area nicely decorated. Room was clean, bedding and towels white but didn’t smell clean (specially the pillows) had to put my jacket on top to sleep on. Room service knocked on our door at 9:30 am and woke us not too happy about the interruption of my sleep. At check in lady was not friendly or informative about breakfast or WiFi. And no coffee offered after 9 am not courtesy water bottles

We stayed over Thanksgiving due to a family member being in the hospital. Our room was dirty to say the least I brought it up to the front desk the next morning and told her something had crawled on my arm but i couldn’t find what it was. I offered to clean the room myself if they could provide me with supplies. She said no that they would take care of it. That evening when we got back they Had Not taken care of it. Only left clean sheets so I could change them. On the bed I found what looked like tiny spider notified front desk and also let them know housecleaning had only gone and left clean sheets and so I changed them out. after I changed out the sheets and laid down to sleep something crawled on my again so we grabbed it with a Kleenex and took it to front desk.They moved us to another room which was much cleaner. Was told they would compensate with adding points to my member acct so I could get a free night and guess what, that hasn’t happened.

Staff was nice and polite. Disappointed we didn’t get housekeeping everyday. They told us from day one was not expecting that. Specially when traveling with kids you need to have trash removed daily. Asked for sofa bed sheets several times, after an hour and a half finally they brought it. Saw three times small roaches in kitchen sink. :/

The outdoor space was really nice with the pool, cornhole, and fire. Our studio room was very spacious and clean

Toilets not working properly. Had to contact maintenance 3 different times with toilet issues. Air conditioner in room extremely noisy

Conveniently located to Six Flags Fiesta in an upscale suburban San Antonio area. Short Uber to the park. It's way cheaper to Uber to the park than pay for parking. An abundance of restaurants near by. Comfortable, large room. Nice, free breakfast. Excellent coffee in the lobby. Two things did bother us. First, there were no signs of recycling for plastic water bottles or paper. Second, this hotel has no ice machines. Weird!

They need to replace the sofa bed mattress.

Mediocre property, at best. The staff was generally friendly. The rooms and halls look worn. The main area is bright and clean.

1st: The room had missing furniture, a side drawer was replaced by a small round table. 2nd: the ice maker in the room was broken. 3rd: The bed sheets didn’t fit the bed really. 4th: no front desk help was missing from 1am to 5am when I was seeking help for the bed sheets. I was signed up for some rewards program without my permission, was told about it afterwards.

The bed is not comfortable and the sofa bed is impossible to sleep on. TV doesn't work include breakfast but it ends at 9:00 am If you go on a family trip and on vacation, it is not the best time to finish breakfast.

Best stay ever, everything was cleaned. I requested extra pillows and they gave them with no hesitation. Front desk was very nice and also staff. Will refer and will stay again.

Need extra towels and received them in under 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly. My family loved our stay.

Upon check in, I asked if another room might be available. I was told that because I booked through a third party website (they always tell me it’s Expedia), I could not make any changes to my original reservation. I’ve been offered an upgrade if I’m willing to pay for the upgrade. I found this unsatisfactory that I couldn’t be accommodated if I was willing to pay more. As far as the room went, the sofa couch and bed itself was uncomfortable. Room 216. I would call several times over the course of two nights and several times, I would get no answer and had to keep calling. For staying 2 nights, I expected to have my room tended. Sheets changed, new towels, empty trash, etc. but no one tended our room. The pool was nice but I feel that there better options for my family next time.

Was locked out of room and staff couldn’t open door until the next morning, slept in different room without any of my belonging including medication. Hotel should have staff with knowledge of door bypass procedure 24/7

Our experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio Six Flags at The Rim was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt well cared for and warmly welcomed—even when a small issue came up with our reservation. The front desk staff responded quickly, kindly, and professionally to resolve the situation and made sure everything was in place for us to enjoy a worry-free stay. We’d like to give a very special thank you to Jorge, Andrea, and their supervisor Celica, who showed exceptional dedication and empathy. They treated us with warmth and patience, and it was clear they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. We also want to highlight the outstanding work of Ivet, our housekeeper, who was incredibly kind and attentive. She always left our room spotless, tidy, and with a fresh, welcoming atmosphere—something we truly appreciated throughout our stay. The breakfast staff was equally excellent. Although we didn’t get their names, we noticed and appreciated their friendliness and consistent effort to keep everything clean, organized, and well-stocked every morning. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, it was clean, well-maintained, and a great addition to the overall experience. Beyond the facilities, what truly made this stay special was the attention and care from the staff. They made us feel at home—something that’s increasingly rare these days. During a difficult time following a family bereavement, we found solace in a hotel that offered not just comfort, but genuine care and support. The staff's empathy and attentiveness were remarkable, making us feel truly looked after. Our room was perfectly sized for three, blending comfort with a cozy atmosphere. My son had a wonderful time despite the circumstances. This hotel went beyond providing a place to stay, offering moments of joy and a much-needed respite. We are deeply grateful for the warmth and kindness we experienced and look forward to returning to this exceptional place that feels like more than just a hotel—it feels like a haven.

Stay was amazing. Great customer service, rooms were clean, location was perfect (everything was close by) seemed like a great neighborhood. If we could change one thing about our stay it would be the swimming pool, it only goes to 3 1/2 feet. Our kids are older so they couldn’t really enjoy it as much. Other than that everything was great. Free breakfast was a plus!

Great location, reasonable price The staff was incredible! Super helpful, friendly, energetic. You could tell everyone really took pride in their jobs - housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast staff, front desk. Pool & courtyard were well kept and we enjoyed that one evening too. Location is <5 min from restaurants, Target & shopping plus about 5-7 min to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

We loved the pool and easy to get to location. Parking was well lit and safe. Lots of shopping and dining close.

This was a clean hotel. Very friendly staff and easy access to any stores and Fiesta Texas. Great location if you’re there for theme parks.

Didn’t like I had to pay for parking. The room wasn’t vacuumed properly when we arrived or during the days we stayed. Convenient store in the lobby had limited food and beverage and the prices were too expensive. Breakfast was served until 930 and should be available a bit later than that for people on different schedules.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with many options. They even had gluten free bagels in sealed packages if that's something you need. The daily cleaning crew was amazing. They even would line up my daughter's stuffies on the bed each day, which she was thrilled about. My only caveat is their rooms do not sleep 4. The couch is a small loveseat and the pullout is only a single. We thankfully brought an air mattress just in case my 2 kids didn't want to share, but it still was a bit of headache. The description on hotels.com is a bit misleading and the room photos are old (they have different couches now), so just beware if you're traveling with 4.

Breakfast was great. The area is very busy and has lots of shops around it. The hotel has 6 floors.

The breakfast it was terrible. we stayed over 45 minutes waiting for food trays (eggs, yougurts) and they didn’t serve any. They should reimburse that!

Hot water could be hotter Wasnt too keen on having to pay for parking Breakfast quality was horrendous. Eggs were watery and the "frech toast" was pure trash. Dried out and didnt have any flavor..

Our is always amazing at the Residence Inn. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Breakfast was so good. Cannot wait for our next stay.
