I had an excellent stay at Hotel Saruhan in Istanbul. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond—especially in arranging a fantastic cruise trip. The terrace breakfast was a highlight, with delicious options and stunning views of the city and sea. Perfect location near major attractions and truly outstanding service. Highly recommended!

The included buffet breakfast in the rooftop terrace was amazing! We especially loved the beet and yogurt salad (just try it!) and the carrot, cabbage and dill salad. Not normally something we'd eat for breakfast but the food and experience was spectacular!! The rooms had a beautiful Turkish feel and look. We enjoyed our cozy room and bed and the service throughout was fantastic 😀

We had a good stay at Saruhan, the breakfast and view from terrace were both amazing. The only drawback is that we were given a below ground floor room, and it was filled with ants once we were settled in and ate some snack/wine.. the ants would gather around our cups and wine bottle and clothes and that was very annoying. It would be nice if were given a room on the upper floors instead as there is a large swing in the bottom floor, just for us in our balcony/garden area but we never used it since there is no privacy there.

Very close to the blue mosque area in the heart of sultanahmet. Many affordable diners in the area. There is a nice park in front of the hotel. The staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful. Coffee is available until 11 pm. The staff lady in the kitchen is super sweet and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The hotel face may need a touch up.

Don’t let this little older hotel put you off, it is a gem. The rooms, though older, are spacious and spotless. The staff were amazing the whole stay. You can beat the breakfast, the woman that puts it out works very hard to ensure all leave full. A bonus is the coffee and tea they provide in the breakfast room anytime of day. Would definitely stay there again.

В номере для гостей тапочки, шампунь, мыло. Недалеко набережная Босфора. Поблизости расположены много небольших магазинов и вкусных недорогих кафе.

Konsept olarak ahşap giydirme kullanılmış. Odalar çok geniş değil. Konum olarak çok iyi Sultanahmet’e yürüyerek 12 dk ama yokuş yürümeniz gerekiyor 55 yaş üstü veya yürümekte zorlanan insanlar kesinlikle yürüyerek gidemez.

location is excellent as within minutes walk to major sites and the staff are friendly with clean facilities. The rooms need upgrading as appear dated and we had two rooms with neither tv working. The breakfast could have done with more selection for hot food.

El hotel está a 5-10 min de Ayasofía y Sultanahmed. La situación por este motivo es buena. Pagamos 15 euros por noche extra para tener vistas al mar, y se nos dio una habitación con vistas, pero muy pequeña. Las instalaciones son antiguas, se nota que se ha remodelado a cachos a lo largo del tiempo. El armario no cerraba bien, y el baño necesita una reforma. El desayuno, muy bien. Delante del hotel hay un parque con un bar/restaurante que estafa un poco al personal (buscad comentarios en google).

El hotel está a 5-10 min de Ayasofía y Sultanahmed. La situación por este motivo es buena. Saruhan Hotel is charming, friendly, very comfiortable, with real local character. The roof terrace is gorgeous, the breakfast (on terrace) is splendid. Our room with park/sea view was perfect. Historic sites are a comfortable walking distance, and local eating is good (with hotel's advice). We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

This is a wonderful hotel. Very family friendly. All the workers are very nice. Their breakfast is great. Farrahudin along with his coworkers at the front desk were all very kind and professional.

Very close to the blue mosque area in the heart of sultanahmet. Many affordable diners in the area. There is a nice park in front of the hotel. The staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful. Coffee is available until 11 pm. The staff lady in the kitchen is super sweet and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The hotel face may need a touch up.

Saruhan was fabulous. What a breakfast spread, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. 8-10 coffee and tea. Walkable to central sultanahmed area. What else do you need? Would highly recommend to anyone anyday. Only small issue: a little too far from train station if you plan to walk there frequently with kids or older parents.

I stayed for 3 days and it was very pleasant and enjoyable. Room condition is very good. Every morning breakfast was great and the trip was great thanks to the care of the food prepareer. Best for the price. Highly recommended. Breakfast and ocean view on rooftop is attractive

location is excellent as within minutes walk to major sites and the staff are friendly with clean facilities. The rooms need upgrading as appear dated and we had two rooms with neither tv working. The breakfast could have done with more selection for hot food.

The included buffet breakfast in the rooftop terrace was amazing! We especially loved the beet and yogurt salad (just try it!) and the carrot, cabbage and dill salad. Not normally something we'd eat for breakfast but the food and experience was spectacular!! The rooms had a beautiful Turkish feel and look. We enjoyed our cozy room and bed and the service throughout was fantastic 😀

Saruhan Hotel is charming, friendly, very comfiortable, with real local character. The roof terrace is gorgeous, the breakfast (on terrace) is splendid. Our room with park/sea view was perfect. Historic sites are a comfortable walking distance, and local eating is good (with hotel's advice). We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

stayed for 7 days. terrace with the view of water and mosque was great. breakfast was really good. very helpful staff. loved the location. it was quiet but super close to all tourist attraction. shout out to Najib and Farrahudin.

You must visit this hotel when in Istanbul. It has a great location, the breakfast is so varied and included in the price and the views from the terrace are beautiful. The receptionists are really helpful, kind and nice to speak to. They endured our stay was perfect. The lady that prepares breakfast is lovely too she will make you aware of all the breakfast options she makes and will always ask if you'd like an omelette. We will be coming back soon, thank you for everything!

Très jolie petit hôtel propre bien décoré personnel très gentil et serviable, Nous avions une chambre familiale avec une terrasse sympathique. À la réception Kenan nous a donné de très bons conseils tout au long de notre séjour, son anglais est parfait ! Le petit déjeuner est varié et riche. ça semble être une entreprise familiale et la mamie qui s’occupe du petit déjeuner est adorable . magnifique vue de la terrasse où on prend le petit déjeuner et qui est accessible jusqu’à 23h. Vraiment très belle découverte à 14min à pied de la mosquée Bleue, Aya Sofya et Bayazid ainsi qu’à 12min de l’arrêt du tram (Attention montée raide pour y accéder car l’hôtel se trouve en bas de la colline)

This has been the best stay. Specially the staff is really friendly, helpful, and supportive.the view from the terrace is amazing. The breakfast is lovely and so is the person who makes zaida, she gave the best service for breakfast. Kenal has been very helpful with everything. We cane with are parents. If you want to stay near blue mosque in sultanahmat i would strongly suggest surahan hotel.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück war gut bis sogar sehr gut. Vom Hotel erreicht man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in einem Fußmarsch circa 20-30 Minuten. Man lernt dabei die Stadt kennen und geht Richtung Hippodrom an den Überresten der Anlage vorbei, wenn wir nach Istanbul kommen, werden wir wieder ins Hotel gehen. Vielen Dank

It felt absolutely truthful. Excellent value! Food was fresh and tasty. Rooftop terrace a beautiful bonus. I got soft pillows when I commented that they are a bit hard. The bathroom was superclean (new) and not smelling, as I experience in other hotels here. Location for my taste was perfect! No street noise, rooftopventilation or other hotelstuff talking on the street. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this lovely authentic hotel.
